1141  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: January 18, 2016, 04:05:48 AM
so i am "luckbox" on primedice.

proof:  http://imgur.com/uco1VqB

before i started playing on friday evening, i was in the negative 10 BTC or so range on luckbox.  ive created other primedice accounts before but forgot their passwords, so then came along luckbox.  and it was the worst month or two ever...i kept losing and i was like WTF luckbox is a piece of SHIT...until yesterday night.

my play style lets say is extremely aggressive, and at least in my opinion you need a large bankroll if you dont want to kill yourself.  thats one big reason why that account was at negative 10 BTC already when i started playing yesterday.

anyhow, the first day i ended around 96 BTC up, which i was like holy shit, and my hands were literally shaking!!!  i literally couldn't stop shaking it was ridiculous.  at that point i think i tipped mod Randall like .25 i was like thanks for helping me get my money since the hot wallet is tapped out!

the second day, i read in chat that there is a list for top players on primedice, and that there is a 100+ BTC club.  hearing this and my competitive nature...i figured i was only 4 BTC away, fuck that I'm gonna go big or go home.  So i start my play, but im multitasking and playing three things....poker on betcoin, penguincasino (good girl bad girl slots, triple poker, blackjack etc), and then of course primedice.  next thing you know im taking big hits on betcoin, and penguincasino and im down to about 75 BTC from 120 BTC when i started in the morning.  so i said fuck it and deposited 55 BTC into my primedice account and started going HAM.

playstyle:

i dont know why, but i love playing 9x.  i always play roll over 88.99 to win, and never change to the inverse.  win chance is 11%.  obviously everything is randomized and what i say now is heresay, but this is my strategy for this who care:

my initial idea of playing 9x was because a 1 in 10 chance seemed pretty decent in terms of probability and payout.  however, primedice as we know it does not work this way.  you can have 60 times no hits on 11% sometimes, and then other times you can have 6 hits of 88+ in a row!!   so i usually bet low until a get a nice green hit, sometimes two, and thats when most people will start reducing their betting.  for me, i think of it as the streak starter and start increasing my bets exponentially (probably 2x twice) and then take about 6 rolls.  if nothing hits, i decrease big time, and start to rebuild.  sometimes if its a really big 2x (imagine you are betting .23 to hit and win 1.84).  not many ppl can survive many of those, so for those i take at max 3 to 4 rolls, and scale back to my initial betting.  if you start getting on hot streaks, as soon as you roll green, 2x roll it agian, and keep 2x'ing it because next thing you know your stack on 1 BTC becomes like 6 BTC.  and at the same time, be mindful of the droughts.  when they come...they last a long time, so make sure your not betting too much during these times.  i also have some paranoia about different seed randomization.  if it is bad and its not going the way i thought it would, i will typically reload my browser and then randomize seed.  anyway thats pretty much all i did to win.  its just luck at the end of the day.  i think the best stretch i had was when i was at about 60 BTC, and i was betting 1 BTC trying to win 8 BTC, and i was a pussy and didn't 2x that but it hit like 4 times in a row, and all of a sudden i was at like 90-100 BTC.  and the other one was where i 2x'd a 1 BTC and it hit 16 BTC.  so basically these multiples do happen when u get hot and thats really the only advice i have.  ill shut up now.  best of luck!   luckbox
You actually tipped Zoltan 0.25btc haha.  You did give me 0.05 though, which I very much appreciate!  Congrats on all your wins!

-Randall

EDIT: Good girl bad girl slots is actually one of my favorites to play haha xD

Reduced price.  Need to sell it.
1143  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $25 Kohl's Gift Card for $15 worth of BTC or 12 CLAM on: January 17, 2016, 07:54:49 AM
Dropped price for CLAM buyers a bit.
1144  Economy / Digital goods / [CLOSED] on: January 17, 2016, 07:00:47 AM
Just as the title states.  Will not take less than $15 $12 in BTC or 12 10 CLAM, so don't ask.  That's already almost half of face value.

Would prefer CLAM, but BTC is fine too if that's what you have.  I got the gift card for christmas, it's a legitimate one, not hacked or any bs like that.  I have good trust here, so you go first (feel free to look into my trade history).

Post here if interested, and I will give you a BTC or CLAM addy.  You send, and I will PM you the card number and the little scratch off numbers.

Kohl's will take just the numbers as payment, you don't need a physical card, you just ask the cashier, I've done it before.

Thanks!

Anyone else not getting payouts from http://digibytegaming.com/ for playing League?  I've even tried manually pushing my payments through, but some error comes up "Exchange rate cannot be retrieved successfully."

Can anyone help with this?
We are working on this. Please stay tuned.
Thank you!  Any chance you could toss me a quick PM when it's fixed?

I would like to inquire if anyone knows the formula of the probability that X number of losses in a row can occur at some win chance per X bets.
As MICRO said, most of these calculations don't really matter because all rolls are independent, but some people still like to know their odds of winning or losing a certain number of bets in a row, so I'll try to explain.

It's best explained with an example.  Let's say you wanted to figure out the percent chance of you rolling 3 reds on a row on 2x.  For simplicity's sake, I'm going to ignore the House Edge in these calculations because it makes the numbers easier to deal with.

For each roll you have a 50% chance (unless you count the House Edge, then it's 49.50% chance on 2x) of winning.

So first you convert the percent chance of winning into it's decimal form: 50% = 0.50 ; 49.50% = 0.495 ; 25% = 0.25 ; 1% = 0.01 (those are a few examples)

Then, depending on how many bets you are looking for a streak of, let's call that X, you will multiply your decimal form by itself X times (also known as en exponential function, looks like this: Xy) So:

0.50 x 0.50 x 0.50 is the same as writing 0.503, and now comes the math to actually figure out your chances:

0.50 x 0.50 x 0.50 = 0.125 = 12.5%

The last part just converting your decimal back into a percentage.  So if you wanted to know your odds of winning or losing 3 bets in a row on 2x, it's 12.5%.  You can use similar math for other win percentages and streaks as large as you want.

Remove the "Too many login attempts have been made" thing, please. Multiple people try login to my account and it makes me not able to login to my account.

That happens mostly when you have multiple accounts and you switch between them very fast. Try to avoid that and you wont have any problems .
Same problem here can't login now, how long will I not be able to login? If this crap take to long I'll search for another Dicesite. I just thought it was smart to start another account so I could use it as mine bank. My wagger was more then 40 BTC and now I Can't login.
Because I am not happy with waiting hours before I can play again. When I want to play Dice I want it now and not about few hours. So I move on to another Dice site sad that this was the option.
Sad that moderators not remove manual the lock 'Too many login attempts have been made'.

Finally you still earn 0.14 to me good luck in the future and wish the best improving your dice site.

PrimeDice, maybe you should decrease the waiting time for users that has wagered many Bitcoin
Just a few things I'd like to address here, maybe I can help clear a few things up.  The whole reason the "too many login attempts have been made" error even exists and locks you out of your account is to prevent people from brute-forcing your password.  The fact that people lock themselves out when switching accounts frequently is purely coincedental.

Typically it's a 1-2 hour wait.  And like I said before, it's a security measure.  All you have to do to avoid it is change accounts less often.

In addition, decreasing the wait time for people that have larger wagered amounts wouldn't do anything except make those individuals more susceptible to brute-forcing.  On top of that, Mods like myself don't have the power you might think we do.  That error is part of the backend, something we don't have access to.  The only thing Mods can do is Mute and Unmute.  That's the only difference.  We don't see anything differently than regular users do.

Can someone explain me how is it possible that in a timeframe of 8 hours I got not one but two stricks of 20 high bets when I was betting low?
I repeat, 2 stricks of reds in over 20 bets placed busting my dice rolls!
How is it random rolls and how is it fair?

That is what random is. Anything is possible, once i generated new seed pair, and started with a 15 lose streak at 2x payout, once i generated new seed pair, and my first roll was an 1100x payout win... Smiley
woah, all the PD moderators rolling the higher multipliers,maybe lack of tips from high rollers and stunna these days.
I also think you should change your signature to 'hero member'.
I do so enjoy the high multipliers.  I love when I bet on a 200x or 500x and win on the first try.  It's fun Cheesy

1152  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for a 0.50 BTC Loan for exactly 2 months. on: January 07, 2016, 04:38:17 PM
Do you have any kind of experience repaying larger loans and/or being trusted with this large of amounts? I ask because your trust history does not reflect that you have.

While acknowledging that you wish for others to not warn potential lenders about not lending to you, I would agree with the other person that it would likely be ill-advised to lend such large amounts.
There are two Trusts on my account that value either 0.50btc or almost that amount.  I've held 3 BTC for someone on Primedice before, but that was on there, not here, so I don't have any kind of proof of that. The bolded section of your statement is false.

Additionally, I'm not going to scam anyone.  Why would I?  I have pretty much flawless rep on here, and Stunna himself positive rep'd me.  Were I to scam someone, he would most likely remove the rep and that could also possibly put my modship for him on PD at risk.
1153  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for a 0.50 BTC Loan for exactly 2 months. on: January 07, 2016, 04:40:11 AM
Take this by heart that nobody is giving u loan without collateral here,look on BTCjam instead.
Clearly you missed the bolded words in the OP.  I don't care for your opinion.  If you're not here to help, don't post.  I'm here to make a deal, not argue with people that can't read.

On top of that, people still scam on BTCJam and I have no reputation on there.  I'd much rather ask here, where people have had positive interactions in making deals with me.
1154  Economy / Long-term offers / [CLOSED] on: January 07, 2016, 04:19:16 AM
Hello all.  I've been on BitcoinTalk for a while, and have had lots of successful trades and loans with many people here, if you look into my Trust history.  There is only one individual that spammed me with negative trust, and they're alts of a long-time scammer/troll in this forum, Candy/Candystripes.

First things first, if you are not interested in helping me or providing a loan please do not comment here.  I know the rules and recommendations, I am not interested in your opinion.

Now to cut to the chase.  I need a loan of 0.50BTC for exactly 2 months of the day you give it to me.  No collateral.  I am fully willing to risk my reputation here, and I don't intend on ruining it.  I need this loan to pay some bills I am behind on, and for some vehicle repairs.

I will be getting some BTC soon, I'm just not sure when and these bills can't wait any longer.  If I am able to pay you back earlier than 2 months, I most certainly will.

TL;DR:

Loan Amount: 0.50BTC
Repayment Date: 2 months from the day of the month you give me the BTC.  (You send it on the 15th, you get repayment by the 15th of two months later.)
Repayment Amount: 0.55BTC
Reason: Bills and vehicle repairs.
Collateral: None.

DO NOT send me the BTC until we have made contact and come to an agreement, and then I will provide you with an address. DO NOT PM ME.  Post here publicly so everyone can see.

Having issues getting your TTY wallet to sync?

1. Close your TTY wallet completely.
2.  Navigate to your main Hard Drive, then the Users folder, then the User folder that's the one you always use.  If you have hidden folders enabled, skip Step 3.
3.  Inside the search window, find where your Folder and Search Options are, mine were within the Organize button. Navigate to the View tab, check the circle that says show hidden folders, hit Apply, then OK.
4.  Going back to your specific User folder, you should now see an AppData folder.  Open it, then open the Roaming folder.  Within that there should be a Trinity folder, open it.
5.  Right click an empty space in that window, and create a new text document inside the Trinity folder.  YOU MUST save the new file as "Trinity.conf" (without the quotes) for this to work correctly. If you open the file, you should still be able to edit it like a normal text file.
6. Open the newly created Trinity.conf file and copy-paste this information into it:

server=1
listen=1
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=USER
rpcpassword=PASSWORD
rpcport=6420
algo=scrypt or groestl or blank for SHA
addnode=192.241.181.81:62621
addnode=87.207.169.147:62621
addnode=180.214.232.93:62621
addnode=74.196.45.14:45665
addnode=137.135.60.66:1176
addnode=94.230.86.122:63756
addnode=52.2.178.39
addnode=52.2.178.39:4639
addnode=24.92.59.48
addnode=89.70.100.251

7. Save the file after pasting the information, and go run your TTY wallet.  Give it a few minutes to find connections, once it does it will take a while to sync.  If you still don't find any connections, take the IP Addresses from this link (http://cryptogaming.club/nodes/trinity/) and add them to the .conf file just like the other ones that already exist, save it, and restart your TTY wallet again.  Be patient.

Posted this here and on EF for the people that don't know how to make their wallets sync. Tongue
