So after playing for ~1 hour I've noticed some decent changes.

-Graphically, the game seems less laggy, and the loading times are significantly improved.
-Several new resources were added, and all of them are now labeled when you use your Scanner so you know which ones you need.
-Base construction and farming seem super cool however I restarted my game to experience it again so I have not reached that point yet.
-The Freighters you can buy, summon, and customize look cool as fuck.

CONS/BUGS:

-Some of the flora on the planet I'm on look like shit.  The little grass bushes look 2D like they were drawn with a crayon.  I don't remember these looking that crappy before.
-Before I deleted my save, I talked to a trader on a Space Station and after offering to sell him materials, I was stuck in the trading UI.  No button to leave or escape the menu, it's game-breaking as I had to force close the game.  This happened multiple times and I did report it to Hello Games customer service.  I'm not sure if maybe this bug is something permanent, or only happened because it was on a pre-patch-1.1 save file.

All in all, I think it's worth giving the game some more play time, especially if you had any interest in it before.  At least now there's some new stuff to invest your time in besides just aimlessly wandering planet to planet.

I don't see a live chat anywhere, or am I just blind?
I even sent in a Support ticket, no response still. Tongue

Heya everyone.  Some of you out there may have pre-ordered or purchases NMS when it came out, and odds are you're probably one of the people disappointed with how the game turned out.

I put a decent amount of hours into it before un-installing because it became repetitive and boring, and all my friends had given up on it.  However, a massive new patch just dropped for PC players (soon for console) called the Foundation Update.

This video outlines the changes and additions: https://www.facebook.com/machinima/videos/10150727713254987/

For a full list of changes and improvements, patch notes are available here on the main site for NMS: http://www.no-mans-sky.com/foundation-update/

Maybe give the video a watch, and let me know what you guys think!  I have mine re-installing right now to give it another shot, if only for the base-building and farming Tongue (don't judge me ;-;)

What did you think of NMS beforehand?  What's your opinions on these changes?  What are you most excited for?  SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH ME.

Loan Amount: 0.10 BTC
Amount to be Repaid: 0.12 BTC
Repayment By: December 31
Reason for Loan: A combination of trading altcoins on Bittrex and getting some Christmas shopping done early.
Collateral: None

Please Note #1:
Do not send me any BTC unless we have discussed the loan publicly in this thread and agreed to it.  I don't want to end up with some random person's BTC because they sent it before the discussion was finished.

Please Note #2: I am fully aware that a lot of lenders prefer collateral.  I do not have collateral, otherwise I'd just sell the collateral.  If you are only going to post to discuss the lack of collateral or give me a hard time about it, please don't post.  I am a trusted member here, and many people know me.

Hello there.

I can fill this for you if you are able to sign an old Address of yours.
You can take a look here to see how it can be done. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

Regards. Smiley

Reason: I've been an avid gamer my whole life, and I built my own PC 2-3 years ago, however the GTX 760 I currently have is becoming outdated.  I'd love to get my hands on a new gpu but neither I or my family have the money to spend that much on a graphics card.  If I won I'd be super appreciative and it'd make my whole year. Thanks, and Happy Holidays to you as well!

The amount of tokens you would get would only be lower if they were any more then 1:1 conversion rate.
The cost would go up a lot with the amount of people who actively talk in chat and people who only faucet bet.

This is a public investment site those tokens come from the sites ability to have profit, it would be massively farmed if they made it 1 token = 1000 sats.
That's not what he means.  He's asking for the ability to have his Bitcoin balance displayed in other measurements like BTC, mBTC, and uBTC that you can toggle between.

It doesn't have anything to do with conversion rates or changing coins, he just wants to alter how his balance is displayed to him.

I was talking to box about what he posted.
Ah, my bad then. Smiley

Any chance of of getting the ability to toggle bitcoin denominations? I"d love to be able to bet in bits or satoshis - makes the mental math easier on me.

(I feel like this is already kind of done for tokens? I see myself betting 1000 tokens, but only betting like .000001 BTC or something
1 Token = 1 Satoshi, so betting 1,000 TOK is betting 0.00001000.

That wasn't my suggestion though.

I'd like to be able to see .000001 BTC as 1 Bit rather than as .000001 BTC
I know it wasn't your suggestion, I wasn't referring to your suggestion.  I was talking about the second part of your post. Smiley

Our users' most liked feature is our large range of fully customizable games. We're going to expand our selection further over the next few months while ensuring our users can bet to their style with our custom betting. Along with this, our RainBot which allows winning real BTC for free is also a big hit.

Thank you for all the detailed feedback, your contributions will help us improve Bitvest for everyone. We will be announcing the contest winner tomorrow, stay tuned!

How We Will Improve Bitvest

We've read all of your feedback and put together a list of the most commonly requested improvements, changes, or issues you've brought up. Here are the most common points and our plans to address them.

Your feedback:
  • The faucet payout is too small and the daily limits are annoying
  • The mobile site should be reworked or improved
  • You should add new games, especially Keno and Blackjack
How it's being addressed:
  • Daily limits have been removed, and we've increased the faucet payout by up to 25% for most users
  • Our next major update will be a new mobile site which will be fully featured, not lacking anything from the desktop version
  • Keno will be released in December or January, and Blackjack in early 2017

I'm really happy to hear you guys will be adding Keno, I was one of the people that suggested it.  Not nearly enough online casinos have it, and if they do, it usually looks really shitty.  I'm excited to see what you guys do with it.

Thanks!

~Randall
