461  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST play/invest, WAGERING COMPETITION, distributing BTG now on: November 24, 2017, 03:30:41 AM
Hello,  I am unable to login to yolodice using Seuntjies DiceBot , i input my username and apikey at login ? Any help? Thanks
If you are trying to login through DiceBot, you use the Username, the PRIVATE API Key (not the public one) and any 2FA you have.  You have to make sure you're putting in the private API key or it won't work.  Also make sure your API key has the appropriate permissions.

Thanks for your help , Is the username the using the "login"? I am using the private api key (generate and shown once to me only, not the publickey ) now but still unable to login

Username : jevan
Private key : xxxxxxx

Is this format correct?
It should be, but YD has two different "usernames", there's your login name which you use to access your account, and your nickname, which is your name in chat.  So you should be using the login name, I believe.  So it should be:

Username: Login name
Private Key: xxxxxx
2FA: xxxxx

The login name and the private key are case-sensitive as well.  If you still can't log in after this, I would recommend sending an email to support yolodice@zoho.com

Edit: Also make sure you are using an up-to-date version of DiceBot.

Just want to post here about YoloDice's great Customer Service.
I receive the informative e-mail about BTG distribution and with this easy, step by step guide, everything goes smoothly.
YoloDice was the one from the total three gambling sites, that sends a notice about BTG. That alone means a lot, at least for my point of view.

Great service from a great dice site, thanks and keep up. Cool
Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you had a good experience!  Ethan will be happy to know people are pleased. Smiley

We're closing in on the end of the competition!  Less than 24 hours remain!  ezeeoj has a huge lead for first place, will anyone surpass him?

Less than 48 hours remain to get your wagers in for the competition!  Good luck everyone!

468  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST play/invest- AUTUMN WAGERING COMPETITION on: November 21, 2017, 01:02:32 AM
Hello there, one of thing that I wanna say is - YOLOdice is the best site for playing dice at all from many aspect sides. IMO.

gold thing that you have is "automatic reconnect" if you are playing from bot 24/7, and you get disconnect/error(idk its site problem or internet connection) you will get automatically retrying to the last "point" and continue betting, so there is no so much hurting disconnects "while you in big streak and big proportion of bankroll are in game" like has every other dice site!

I hope you will grow like community and dice game platform.

i dont understand other people who was playing in shi*ty sites, where bets are only every 3seconds and there is no disconnect protection(if i can call it)

definetly site what I recomend.

only one point is not so nice, that in last months bet speed is decreased something like 10-20%

sugestion - if there will be more "coins" like ETH, LTC, etc, then need to make "coin to coin" changer like it was in cryptogames casino.

and allow more than one connection at the same time..., what is side effect why you have only one possible connection from account?!
Hello!  Hopefully I can address some of your statements.  Firstly, I'm glad you like it here!  Ethan and Scott both work really hard to make YOLOdice nice for everyone. Smiley

Bet speed should be fairly consistent depending on your physical distance from the YD servers, though over time Ethan has had to add some betting delays on bets under 100 satoshis because the site total of bets placed per second has grown over time considerably, and if he didn't add delays for the smaller bets, then all bets (even large ones) would have pretty significant delays.  Bets over 100 satoshis are still pretty fast, I get 3-5/second, and I'm very far away from the YD servers (they are EU-based).

As for your coin exchanger suggestion, I actually suggested that to Ethan a long time ago when he first mentioned integrating other coins; it is already under consideration.

Thanks!

yes, he won first place and maybe he will not be killed but he lost 2 bitcoins when he started he had minus 10 bitcoins and now minus 12 bitcoins http://prntscr.com/hc3fr9  and yet the fact that when they open a contest, the site instantly goes up the profit and for these days the competition goes profit from 180 bitcoins to 188 bitcoins so that whatever the contests are designed for in order to deceive the players and always to the benefit of the administrationthis player for 2 days lost 1.3 bitcoins draw conclusions companions  http://prntscr.com/hc3gyh
Please do some research before you make a post spouting lies just because a few players lost some coins.  YOLOdice is 100% transparent, every roll is Provably Fair, and many players on our site have won quite a bit of BTC (Check our Stats page), even without the contest we run.

Casinos are very simple.  There is a house edge.  The odds are statistically against you, but there are people who still get lucky.  There are also people that lose.  Just because you lost doesn't mean we/they deceived you.

It's a wagering competiton - The house edge is 1% which means you're mathemetically supposed to lose 1% of your wagered.  People want to win the competition, so they wager more and hope to get lucky enough to win big and win a competition prize.  Site profit goes up and down, not just up.  It just happened to go up because people were wagering a lot more and didn't get lucky.

Also, site profit doesn't just benefit the admins - it also benefits all the players who choose to invest.  Please don't be ignorant.

It's been a little under 24 hours since the start of the competition, and already well over 50 BTC has been wagered!  Wow!

474  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST play/invest- AUTUMN WAGERING COMPETITION on: November 16, 2017, 06:23:16 PM
Great competition, like wagering huge with small amount and really can do this very well but if prizes aren't big, really. One bitcoin for first winner would be better, it would make competition more valuable.

Please Note:  At the end of the contest, if you're one of the top 15, you must claim your prize by PMing ethan_nx on YOLOdice  by typing /pm 1 and then just let him know you're a winner.
Curious, owner can see statistics and why is there a need of PMing/contacting him? Can't understand.
Someone asked this in the competition thread, so I'll copy my answer from there for you:

"I asked Ethan this same question when he wanted to ask people to PM him and if I remember correctly his answer was this:

Some people play (or at least there used to be) and never pay attention to competitions or bother participating in them, or they play on alt accounts for a day or a couple days that they never use after that, and he didn't want to be crediting prizes to "throwaway" accounts that people will possibly never use again.

It'd be a waste of BTC to credit a prize to an alt account someone made that just wanted to play for a day or several and didn't care about the competition and then never used it again; it would just sit there forever.  He'd much rather have people claim their prizes so none of it goes to waste, and if by chance someone doesn't claim, the funds go back in the pool for future competitions. Smiley

I hope that answers your question."

As for your prize comment, we're aware that larger prizes bring more people, but YD is still a relatively small and new casino.  We choose prize sets that fit within our current budget, and try to appease both high rollers and lower rollers.  YD, or Ethan for that matter, doesn't have 1000s of coins laying around to be giving out 1btc prizes to multiple people.

At least not yet. Smiley

Why do we have to PM Ethan? I never understood that. He always responds and pays but you guys have the stats right there, why not just credit our accounts?

Yeah. Right after I bet total of 71btc within the past 3-4 days. Roll Eyes

I am the top of all the leaderboards but post this announcement.
Ah just my luck. Cheesy
Ah, damn, sorry you missed it :/

I personally like to wait until competitions start to play a whole lot (but I still play regularly).  If it helps you any, we start competitions roughly once every two weeks, so maybe you can plan it out if you'd like. Smiley

Hello, may I know the progress on distributing Bitcoin Gold to those who had BTC on Yolo during the fork? Will there be an announcement made on this soon?
As soon as Ethan has an announcement to make on progress about Bitcoin Gold, he will post here, as he's said many times. Smiley

Is there any plan to introduce new currencies on yolodice? Also, is there a plan to invest in the site with other currencies rather than bitcoin?

Yes in my opinion due to the huge backlog there should be an alternative currency for all bitcoin casino sites.

I think they should either make it Bitcoin Cash, USD Tether, Litecoin or Ethereum.

Bitcoin Cash is the very simplest to make because its an exact fork off Bitcoin. Litecoin is also very similiar. Ethereum is very different but has the fastest block times. And Tether would be good since Bitcoin is very volatile.
This was discussed further back in the thread many times, and gets talked about a lot in chat, but in case you missed it:

Ethan is already working on adding LTC support to YOLOdice, and most likely ETH sometime after that (but nothing is set in stone).  He's still working very hard to get the LTC integration, as it's not a simple flip of the switch; he essentially has to re-design the site from the ground up while also ensuring there's no bugs or exploits.  In case you didn't know, Ethan pretty much works solo on YD, he does not have a team of coders or anything like that, it's just him and Scott.

He told me it will take some time, but once it's done, it will be much easier to add other coins in the future. Smiley
