1862  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan - GOT COLLATERAL on: August 09, 2015, 02:42:46 PM
Your collateral is only worth ~.062 btc, so you are either going to need to come up with more collateral or lower the amount of your loan. The value of the collateral should be worth no less then 115% of the amount of the loan.
alt coins could be as risky as not your expectation, even if the collateral is large enough, if the value was suddenly crashed, it would be ended up in loss. all'n'all alt coins has no actual value guarantee.

why not just trade the ltc ?
yea, at least it won't be liable for the losses even if the price dropped (but you would be jelly if the price raised rapidly).

1864  Other / Meta / Re: We should ban ManyProofs or not? on: August 09, 2015, 09:53:56 AM
To be honest, he could be considered a direct spammer. He has been filling up the lending section with fake loans. Regardless of any scams/spams that are created as a result of his thread, his threads in and of themselves are spam. As such, he can be banned without stretching the rules.
unfortunately, under the bitcoin talk rule, ManyProofs must to violate the rule to be banned, even though scamming is technically violating the rule(IIRC), but if mods decided to ban him for encouraging scams, moderators would receive major amount of report demanding to ban scammers, plus they would be in trouble of reviewing reports and even admin abuse as i just said. if the admin abuse, lots of admins would be banned.

we must not demand banning him for scamming, instead, let him be to get more information.
if he stopped to lend to his puppets and started to make real deal with others, this post would be useless.
1865  Economy / Lending / Re: altcoin as collaterral does not make any sense explain why ppl dont use exchange on: August 09, 2015, 05:29:41 AM
alt coins as collateral are risky of value varies, even if it is a major one.
solid collateral is less risky on value matter, why people are still using alt coins as collateral?
even though alt coins is the best collateral, if the alt coin drops, loaners will get "shrekt".
bitcointalk account does not value a lot, as they can be counterfeited.
lenders should be more cautioned on taking altcoin collateral, as those alt coins have no value guarantee at all.

From what other people have said before me, it appears that taking out loans and freezing altcoins is seen as a better investment than selling altcoins. Honestly though, I feel like a much better mindset for taking out a loan and using altcoins as a collateral is to alleviate the danger of the coins crashing in value. If you use a coin that can jump in value enough to use it as collateral rather than selling, it can also crash and burn. If you have an active loan while your altcoin dies, you can simply default on the loan and say goodbye to your altcoins, which are now worth much less than the loan.
explicitly, man.

he is not likely get banned for encouraging scam, otherwise moderators would be able to misuse their own ability( like banning randomly ) and would lead to admin disaster.
at most he would be likely get banned for spamming.

you know.

reason: buying a keyboard
repayment date: within 30 days
payback amount: .12
(collateral avaliable but cannot go through escrow due to the shipping.)
address: 18gbWnuj3aVXokBb4jr6s7uP9yaSuFJaij

(i am neither an alt, nor building trust.)
(thread closed eventually if nobody lends.)
(do not bother me too much because it is not helpful.)

Repayment period is too much long as per loan amount and interest is also low you are offering. Try to decrease them both to get your loan funded easily. And I suggest you to work out on your profile to get your negative trust removed.
that guy is away for at least a month.
the period changed to 15 days to see if lenders goes.

you are inactive, unlike me, i just joined in the early 2015.
unless you are reasonable asking for loan and with proven evidence, otherwise we won't be able to check your legitimacy.
1875  Economy / Lending / Re: loan of .1 til Monday 8/10 (getting $350 pay deposited into account) on: August 08, 2015, 05:06:52 AM
not reliable.

1877  Economy / Lending / Re: I NEED A PRO LENDER QUICK!!! (MY LIFE DEPENDS ON THIS!!!) on: August 07, 2015, 08:26:29 AM
you need a better reason, this reason is invalid.
your life explicitly needs more than what you are apparently asking for.
nobody is lending you even if manyproofs can do, unless you had a legitimate reason to ask for loan.
get a life, and don't ask for loan anymore if just for kicks.
