1701  Other / Off-topic / making some quiz games. on: August 19, 2015, 05:40:44 AM
i am gonna create a quiz game (inspired by Who Wants To Be a Millionaire) in scratch.
please send a PM to submit your questions.

the format is...
(question) A. (Answer), B. (Answer), C. (Answer), D.(Answer)

category could be:
Math
Geography
Liberal/general studies
economy (including bitcoin)
history
English language
cryptography, computer
most of the categories about animation
documentary
physics, chemistry, biology, anatomy
riddles

rules:
no direct NSFW reference (profanity accepted if without involving violence, threats, etc which causes to be NSFW)
you have to create at least 20 questions at once.
only one category per one request.
do not make any questions in which more than 99% of the people won't be able to answer it correctly.
do not make too easy questions, this would cause the game to be useless.
no request limit, as long as it is constructive.
English only to make more international friendly.
subject to correction.

please tip if you think my work is worth it (i am not begging, i have worked on it.) 18gbWnuj3aVXokBb4jr6s7uP9yaSuFJaij
(the game is gonna be published if the question base has more than 300 questions, i will publish the credits as well.)
1702  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Just Crashed on: August 19, 2015, 01:27:39 AM
omg, it is horrible!
luckily i did not buy any bitcoin(s) at the moment.
if i did, i would be screwd.
1703  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ----------------> BECAREFULL FROM THE BIT-X CARD !!- on: August 18, 2015, 03:17:03 PM
Bit-x Please note That this is a free Discussion forum and anyone have the right to expose SCAMS or shady fees  Wink !

Absolutely, neither of which you are doing.
only allowing the 70% of the total balance per transaction would be annoying for the people needing to withdraw all.
1704  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Cards! [Updated] on: August 18, 2015, 12:55:42 PM
BECAREFULL FROM THE BIT-X CARD :

Just wanna lets you know that bit-X is the worst prepaid card DONT FUCKING BUY IT cause :

1 - In order to cashout from ATM , every transaction amount must be less than 70% of your balance (MotherFuckers)

2 - its funny how they say Monthly fees is free for the first 10000 users ... (MotherFuckers)

3 - Fees are too fucking high and so shady.

And other things i think a respected member will mention them soon .

Im using e-coin card AND F***k You Bit-X

1up! i am sure that bit-x is just bullshit.
this thread is not at all belongs to here, go back your service announcements or service discussion., the forum where you were supposed to post.
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I doubled my bitcoin in last 3 months. How do you make money(bitcoin) online? on: August 18, 2015, 11:50:16 AM
no shit.
you are explicitly from those ponzi to gain those profits, you are nearly scammed by collapsing.
dammit i was scammed by a cloud miners once, and warn you that doubling isn't matter, be aware of the unreliable investing companies.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: List of reasons we do not need bigger block sizes on: August 18, 2015, 10:39:49 AM
i mean, even though it would happen, i still would not let the blockchain to increase the size which is unneeded. that would harm newbies to use the full node wallet. doubling the block size limit would ever encourage the spammers to spam in the blockchain network if the active users did not increase. that's shit-awful with those junk transactions.
we need a sustainable currency to help bitcoin mingle with the world , just like a currency joining to the IMF.

Honestly, I think Joe and Jill Average running full nodes is a pipe dream, whatever we do with the block size:

-If you increase the block size indefinitely, the storage and bandwidth requirements will become high enough to deter casual users.

-If you don't increase the block size but increase fees instead, the fees will become high enough to push casual users off the blockchain, to use payment processors etc. instead. This leaves them with no reason to run a full node even if they technically could.

-either way, I don't see many apart from a hard core of enthusiasts wanting to run a node.
reasonably, what about the people with the XT node? leave them away, and let them die for the insufficient storage?
within 20 years, not even 30 years would be full of blockchain data, and people would have no choice but either buy more hard disk, or stop using the XT node and start using the third party wallet. with or without XT, result would be exactly the same. instead, we should have the flexible block size, to prevent the network spammer. apparently, the blockchain, even stress test would not affect the full node users a lot, however, as the block size increase, the more burden of XT node users would be. no matter how fast the technology would be, the growth of technology is never reaching how fast that block grow. when the day, the block size went to the maximum, meaning 8 gb per block, unless we got the solution for the ultimately large size of hard disk, which is affordable and sustainable enough, otherwise, i am sure people would leave their XT node wallet.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which innovation in Bitcoin do you REALLY want? on: August 18, 2015, 10:32:43 AM
more flexible block size limit, not just higher block size - it won't ever solve the problem.
1708  Other / Off-topic / Re: Now i have been logged in for 1337 days. What now? on: August 18, 2015, 03:43:07 AM
hi dud.
celebration!
it's time to do something great, and do party! let's buy some stuff (like raspberry pi) for!
u jelly?
1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 750 of last 1000 blocks can happen with only 1% miners it only takes more time on: August 18, 2015, 03:08:04 AM
to get the mining block reward 2 in a row, you will need to calculate your hashing power, and make one out of the "numbers" to the power of 2.
example: you have 5% of the all hash power, then mining two blocks in a row would be (1/20)^2= 1/400.

am i right? by the way, sometimes, like antpool, due to a certain sudden reward, they mined 2 blocks in a row within 2 minutes.
for the XT, it could keep you from wasting the hash power. however, it would be hard to synchronise it quickly or sustainable.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What sparked the recent boost in XT node adoption? on: August 18, 2015, 03:00:15 AM
whelp the trouble of XT node is now been exposed: if someone suddenly engaged the transaction spam, it would lead to the disaster of bitcoin XT. you know, the size of block is doubling every 2 years. we won't know how would it be, but i can sure that if we have insufficient bitcoin users, those junk transactions would be appear frequently.
that's why we should not support the bitcoin  XT, until the demand of bitcoin went explicitly increased.
1711  Economy / Economics / Re: Why isn't everyone talking about China's currency devaluation?! on: August 18, 2015, 01:54:21 AM
i have to say, not all of them are talking about the CNY devaluation, you know.

lol i smell bitmain is gonna decrease the price of their ASIC, and those ASIC vendors would be jelly to bitmain. look, chinese devalued the CNY, rest of the countries decided to war with china to prevent the deflation which crashes the country.
1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missing 98% on: August 18, 2015, 01:49:21 AM
idk.
likely they are come from variety, especially gambling on chain.
or i know the bitcoin mixing matter, because bitcoin mixing requires large amount of transactions.
or i can see the spamming transaction, i saw it everywhere.
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Node observer: Bitcoin Core Vs Bitcoin TX | 6422 vs 423 on: August 18, 2015, 01:13:49 AM
Ι dont have a master and i try to protect bitcoin to became a one mans rule system

no god no master...
hey! u wot mat? this is NSFW and you just shown to kiddies!
anyway, there are no true master ever, it is depends on the people believe in.
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / bitcoin XT, do you have enough storage for? on: August 18, 2015, 12:08:41 AM
a lot of people said that bitcoin XT is good for bitcoin, yes, that would be nice to help transactions faster.
however, the bitcoin transaction per block is not even higher than 0.8 mb! why should we need to add the XT?
unless the frequency of transaction is kept increasing, otherwise, XT node makes no sense. this would harm the newbies of full nodes.
anyway, if you applied bitcoin XT node, would you have enough storage for the XT to use? because XT is probably eating the memories, which is faster than what you are expecting for.
1715  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: August 17, 2015, 09:52:34 AM
i would sell all my bitcoins if 51% attack was engaged.
you know, bitcoin would be useless if 51% attack was done by someone, that day, bitcoin would be useless, that attacker would be able to steal all of our bitcoins, no matter what wallet you were using.
1716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Snowden Says Bitcoin is Flawed on: August 17, 2015, 09:45:51 AM
He is obv. no Bitcoin expert.
even though you are right, but, what would you say if what he said "bitcoin's flaw" was proven?
now, what is your evidence that what he just said is no legitimacy?

You do realize how many millions of dollars it requires to perform a 51% percent attack, no? It's barely feasible. And even if it does occur, it's still going to have to deal with the chance that the other side/group/chain may pull together that extra 1/2/3 % or whatever to keep a particular chain of consensus.

Look at the Bitcoin XT deal. It needs to hit 75% before anyone will really get anywhere. A 51% attack in no way implies that the attack will succeed.

The evidence that what Snowden says has (virtually) no legitimacy is that he displays deep ignorance about the Bitcoin protocol in other things he throws out there, namely that there is an identity issue with Bitcoin, when there's only an identity issue because people keep using their identity to get Bitcoin.

Create some other token - like he says - and then we can apparently do lots of things. Erm. No. That would be the Bitcoin blockchain potential already that he's just mentioned.

Like others have pointed out, he should have done his research. Really he should have.

I will say one thing though... I do find the Obama commissioning a supercomputer to be worrying, I have to admit.

i don't wanna war with you, dude.
at the red words, as the people left their XT node wallet due to the blockchain matter, people would start using the online wallet.
did you realise that the XT is used to centralise the power of bitcoin and get it to regulate? unless we would not be in struggle with the excessive blockchain size, otherwise, 75% attacks would be just a piece of cake.

1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: List of reasons we do not need bigger block sizes on: August 17, 2015, 09:21:46 AM
but it doesn't mean it would double every year, unless the number active wallet grew explicitly fast, it would be impossible to double the block size per year. plus, i am tired to see most of the junk transactions in the blockchain.

Not every year, no. Next year, though? I don't think you can rely on that not happening.
i mean, even though it would happen, i still would not let the blockchain to increase the size which is unneeded. that would harm newbies to use the full node wallet. doubling the block size limit would ever encourage the spammers to spam in the blockchain network if the active users did not increase. that's shit-awful with those junk transactions.

1719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: List of reasons we do not need bigger block sizes on: August 17, 2015, 09:15:26 AM
Note that alot of the spike recently was a stress test, it just dropped back down to where it should be under 0.4 mb. Still growing at a good clip but will be years if you extrapolate it not including the spam attack/stress test.

Sure. Disregarding the spike, even in the chart you posted, you can see the average block size has nearly doubled in one year. If that continues, we'll hit 0.8mb per block in a year or so, and that's assuming a steady growth rate. A year or so to start hitting the 1 mb ceiling seems like a safe estimate if you want to figure out what to do about it before you find out experimentally, like it or not.

but it doesn't mean it would double every year, unless the number active wallet grew explicitly fast, it would be impossible to double the block size per year. plus, i am tired to see most of the junk transactions in the blockchain.
1720  Other / Meta / Re: What is wrong with theymos and the other mods? on: August 17, 2015, 09:11:59 AM
I am not often on reddit, I don't even have an account there, but yesterday I spend some hours looking into the drama that happened/is still happening there.
Do you want to know, what other people are thinking about that? I got a mail from the LTB network(I hardly ever get mails from them, so it seems to  be an important topic from them) to look at this thread:
https://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/post/upcoming-bitcoin-hard-fork-r-bitcoin-censorship

So, I thought, maybe they have learned, but what do I see after I got here today: censorship again. Seems like the pro-XT-threads are moved to the altcoin-section and the anti-X-Threads are allowed to stay.
Seriously, nobody in his right mind, regardless of where he stands in this discussion, can think about these other than a big abuse of power.

So:
Theymos or any other mod: What is wrong with you? Who do you think you are? The new dictators of every Bitcoin discussion. Do you really think, that is what Satoshi wanted?

i hate XT, but his random post deletion is absolutely unacceptable to most of the posters.
he should stop himself from banning those threads otherwise i would see a disaster of the reddit (r/bitcoin).
