1041  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign Question on: September 08, 2017, 05:25:27 PM
I think you should end first the week you currently joining in, before moving to another campaign, IF there are any campaign accepting at the moment. Don't leave campaigns you are in if you are not sure if you are going to get accepted.

Also, speaking realistically, it doesn't really make sense for you to leave a campaign before the week ends. You end up losing out on that week's payment for how much ever you posted. If you leave and join another one and keep hopping, you will keep losing out on the cash you could have gotten for the week. That's another reason why just hanging on to the same sig campaign for at least a week is a good idea.
1042  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Hyip Program - btcbanka.website on: September 08, 2017, 05:04:40 PM
Friend, Nice to hear that you have started a new hyip site. But just tell me, how you are going to pay all the interest to the investers. Just opening a thread and writing the url of your site isn't enough. You should also tell how you are going to double this amount. If you have that much money then why you are using a free domain that you get while buying a hosting in namecheap.lol

It's very simple. He isn't going to pay them after a while. He'll have some seed money that he'll use to get everyone's attention by actually paying out for a small amount of time. Then, when people start putting in more money, he'll just leave. I mean look at his account too. It's a new account. What is there to trust about this guy that would convince me to actually invest in his site? As of now, there is nothing that is catching my eye.
1043  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: September 08, 2017, 04:26:42 PM
I have bad experienced with a cloud mining "hashocean" I think. And also my friend, we've invested and like cloud vanished and not leaving any traces at all. After that I've started to doubt bitcoin and leave. Until now I came back to regain what I've wasted for so long. Scamming sites are made to gain profit to fool others that I condone and will not be on that situation again. My advice is just be careful and be observant on anything/sites other than this forum.

I also had a bad experience a few months ago with a cloud mining. But they are a total scam site. Never again I fall for their trap. Initially thought that they are legit, however, it turns out that I'm wrong. I'm not saying that they are all scam, but some are only there to really get people's money. So beware.

I would probably go a bit further than you and assert that actually most of these supposed cloud mining sites are scams. In fact, a large majority of Bitcoin investing sites are ponzis and scams. At this point, I highly doubt that a legitimate cloud mining service for Bitcoin is even worth it. Mining Bitcoin I feel is starting to hit a point where it is not as profitable as mining altcoins. We'll see if this changes in the future.
1044  Economy / Services / Re: LOOKING FOR A BOUNTY CAMPAIGN MANAGER on: September 08, 2017, 02:13:46 PM
You can contact the list I have made below :

1 yahoo62278
2 jamal
3 avirunes
4 sylon
5 irfan_pak

You have left Lutpin name who is a also a good campaign manager as well as he designs also so all in all he can arrange and maintain your campaign.

I would put Lutpin and Edwardard higher up because they are both trusted and they have also both managed numerous signature campaigns. I think there is a thread either somewhere in the services section or somewhere else like service announcements or discussion that has a thread with all trusted escrows. You can take a look at that too.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do one need to go through BTC or ETH to reach altcoins on: September 08, 2017, 07:20:06 AM
Bitcoin has influence over alternate cryptocurrencies. It is like a digital gold in the whole cryptocurrency market.
All altcoins even eth are still depending on bitcoin because bitcoin is overvalued so far.
In order to obtain altcoins, you must go first for the primary digital currency.

Yup, I agree with this answer over the others. Bitcoin is what you can consider the mother hub of the altcoins. A lot of altcoins is contingent on you having some Bitcoin or Eth on you. Furthermore, I think when trading altcoins, people want to stick with cryptocurrency so when they give up some of their altcoins, they can get a different, more prominent coin back as payment in bitcoin.
1046  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: September 08, 2017, 05:53:39 AM
Frankly speaking as of now there is no such bond, fund or stock related to bitcoin which is legit and gives good returns too. I would suggest you to go for some popular altcoins like ethereum or ripple. They still have a lot of room to grow moreover they have proven themselves to be legit. Saying this I would still recommend keeping bitcoin as bitcoin is still a good investment. Smiley
bitcoin is good for a long term investment and does have a lot of potential for more successful development when it features revealed more. Having btc as a saving is one way for investment, but joining in more interesting and potential ICO would be much better.

Bitcoin is a good long term investment if you can predict the lack of a bubble bursting. It is rising very quickly as of now and we don't know how it will do in the future. However, investing in ICO and altcoins is not a bad idea. I say this because how a project is doing need not be impacted by how bitcoin is doing as well.
1047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of 1 Satoshi rise to $1? on: September 07, 2017, 09:49:02 PM
I think a Satoshi being worth $1 is ridiculous. 1 BTC would be worth 100 million dollars! That is pure wishful thinking and isn't practical. Someone with 2,000 BTC would be way richer than Bill Gates is right now.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Kind of.

I do think that it's highly unlikely to see a Satoshi rise up to 1$ because at that point you're creating so much money out of nothing (seemingly to outsiders) that it does not seem sustainable. However, the only reason I can say that I'm giving it a chance is because I genuinely did not expect bitcoin to rise the way it did. It exploded and as of now, I don't know what's stopping it from continuing to explode. Very few people were able to call the bitcoin burst from a long time away, but those who did have benefitted greatly.
1048  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 07, 2017, 09:46:00 PM
Savings in banks Deposits in banks Property investments, such as buying property (land and buildings) are then leased or resold after some time later. Gold investment, such as buying gold and then stored for the long term. May be useful in the long run. and produce a decent and satisfactory. or farming to buy sawan and gardening and planting fruits and vegetables is a very good investment. Although a little vulnerable to failure but it could not hurt to try.

I think bitcoin is a good way to invest your money yes, but I don't think it's the best way to invest your money. I think (if you're young), you have more safer, better options in terms of long term investments for retirement plans and such. However, if you're older or you want to designate some of your cash for investment, I think that investing in the stock market is a better option because you have more information to base your investments on. You can read about quarterly sales and predict whether or not a company will do well. The only hard part is knowing when to sell after an upwards trend.
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: September 07, 2017, 09:32:11 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
Investment is risky as saving your money in the bank is also in danger. The bank will finish it in tax and charges. It depends on your countries inflation and deflation though. Unless you put in in time deposite which will earn some interest in return. But if i have much money i will indeed invest in real estate. It's value over the years gets more and more higher.

The thing is though, if you know HOW and WHERE to invest you have chances of coming out with a lot more cash than if you just saved. It's tricky business, but it pays off if you know what you're doing. For example, people who invest big time in stocks are able to make their cash because they spend a lot of time studying analytics and quarterly reports from companies. If you have the everyday Joe try to invest in random companies, chances are that he will not be able to profit, and thus, saving is a better option for him.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: September 07, 2017, 09:22:00 PM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?

I would hold it. The way I see it is that regardless of how much bitcoin you have, you don't actually own money that you can use until:

1) you convert the bitcoin to USD or whatever usable currency there is in your country
or
2) Bitcoin becomes so widely accepted that it can be used anywhere.

So, when you're given a gift, you don't have anything to lose -- you're not in the negative by buying that bitcoin or by losing it. You're technically only in the positive. For that reason, and because I feel that bitcoin has time to blossom even more, I would hold. I would also make sure to be cautious about drops though.
1051  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: September 07, 2017, 06:05:31 PM
Some are very legit. SOme are scammers. Therefore, you must investigate before investing your money in cloud mining. Scammers do not own real mining farm and you can easily spot them because most of the images are stolen on the internet. Legit sites do own mining farm and they selling hash rates to customers. And the contract increases its price over time due to the large number of people investing in these projects

I'd say that most cloud mining sites are scams because of the idea behind cloud mining. It's in such a format that it seems so easy to just make money out of your investment. Scammers fudge up these numbers so that people think they can make so much money in very little time, but the reality of cloud mining is that it takes a long time to get ROI.
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: Which Bitcoin amount could be the max to exchange to fiat? on: September 07, 2017, 08:41:44 AM
Maybe this is a bit phylosophical topic, but the other day I was wondering at which Bitcoin amount it doesn't matter anymore if you're getting more Bitcoin, since you can't exchange it to fiat.

Example:
At the current price of app. 4500 $ per BTC you can exchange to fiat:
100 BTC = 450.000 $ / no problem
1.000 BTC = 4.500.000 $ / a bit of problem
10.000 BTC = 45.000.000 $ / a problem
100.000 BTC = 450.000.000 $ / a big problem
...

See where I'm going? And that's at the current price. I could get even more interesting when the price will be 10.000 $ per Bitcoin or even more.

How do you exchange 45M$? or 450M? So does it make any difference if you hodl 10.000 BTC or 100.000 BTC, since you can't exchange it to fiat anyway without raising suspicion, even if you're very well connected?

What would be the breaking or maybe maximum point of Bitcoin still exhangeable to fiat?
What's your take on that?

I feel like at some level, you run into this issue with normal currency trading itself. You can't simply go to a currency exchange booth and say that you have 5 million in USD that you need converted to Euros asap. That will be an issue and almost just as impossible as getting the bitcoin converted. I think it's too tough and early to make any statements of the Bitcoin availability for high level currency exchange.

1054  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Will People Buy This ? on: September 07, 2017, 02:16:22 AM
Hi :

Through my website & software (not launched yet), I am making it possible for users located in US, Britain, Canada & Australia to earn high-$xxx/month to mid-xxxx/month with some very basic online PART-TIME works. To be able to do that each user in US, Britain, Canada & Australia will have to pay a REFUNDABLE $1.99 to us. This $1.99 will be spent on utilities to enable us to pay the users for their work done as mentioned above and this $1.99 will later be fully refunded along with some cool surprising gifts.

Do you think that users will pay this $1.99 ?

Thanks for your answer in advance,

SJD

No. It's extremely fishy to

1. Pay 1.99 in hope that you get a paying part time job and

2. Conduct this over the Internet so there's no guarantee that you would get the job.

There's barely any incentive for ANY paying user to send over 2 dollars of their own money for a shady internet job. Change business tactics or abandon the idea.
1055  Economy / Speculation / Re: China does it again (shorters on suicide watch) on: September 06, 2017, 05:56:03 PM
China, once again, has pulled a controlled short and made a lot of BTC from unwary panic sellers whose, for some reason, decided selling BTC because some shitcoin's ICO got banned was a good idea.

Why did so many idiots sell their cheap BTC? Who knows, but what do we know is, this has been another profitable move by China whose is building stacks of BTC from all the newbies and weak hands that just don't know how to hold.

Remember this?

The ICO ban is just the same bullshit all over again, so don't fall for their tactics or you will lose your tickets to the moon.

I'm taking the fact that you're a longtime member into consideration here.

I wouldn't be surprised if people who sold bitcoin just recently we're introduced to it and then bought it very quickly. People with large amounts and those who bought it recently we're probably freaked out by the couple hundred drop in the pricing and sold to cut losses. You have a different experience in this probably because you're a longtime member and have had Bitcoin in your possession since the early stages. The same can't be said for everyone who's in bitcoin now.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: Condos in Dubai for sale in Bitcoins on: September 06, 2017, 05:45:11 PM
But, they do not really sell it for bitcoin, because Bitpay will convert bitcoin into fiat currency and give it to Asto plaza devs.
Through a partnership with Knox Group (http://knoxgroupplc.com/) and the bitcoin payment processor Bitpay (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitPay), a selection of 1,133 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, ready for completion by September 2019 will be sold for bitcoin.
Not in 2017, but have to wait for another 2 years which bitcoin price may reach new ATH. Yes, there is probability bitcoin will go down, but the chance to rise up is bigger obviously.

Currently, studio properties will have a starting price of 33 BTC, and the real estate agency says early investors will get additional benefits. Additionally, packages of interior design services and furniture can also be purchased using bitcoin.
BTC33 today worth over $151,000. How if bitcoin rise to $15,000 in 2019? It's not worth to purchase it right now.

I have to agree with you. Looking back on some of my transaction history now, I feel foolish for sending around .01 btc to test out random sites and whatnot. Even though it was just 10$ a while ago, now it's a whole 50$. 5x the price it was before....

I think with these things, bitcoin is a gamble for both sides. The price can rise or fall and someone will be at a loss through this deal.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN [ICO] Ultimate Gaming Currency + Virtual Goods Platform on: September 06, 2017, 05:42:19 PM
Coinomi wallet will now support Enjin Coins natively!

https://medium.com/@coinfork/enjin-coin-natively-supported-in-coinomi-wallet-16229bfdbd54

We’re very proud to announce Enjin’s partnership with Coinomi!

Coinomi is the very first multi-currency wallet, available since 2014. The Android-based mobile wallet will be natively supporting Enjin Coin (ENJ) tokens when Enjin Coin is distributed in early October.

The partnership will increase the accessibility of Enjin Coin to users around the world by allowing tokens to be sent, received, and potentially even traded with other coins using the built-in exchanges Shapeshift and Changelly.
Coinomi is also allowing one click contribution directly from the wallet to the ongoing Enjin Coin Pre-sale, which has surpassed USD $5 million and is growing rapidly in popularity.

Crowdsale contributions through the Coinomi wallet will also be available during the upcoming Enjin Coin ICO starting on October 3rd 2017.

Opening new possibilities for Enjin Coin

The partnership will introduce Enjin Coin to Coinomi partner exchanges Shapeshift and Changelly through their connected channels. This would allow for in-app exchange of ENJ with other supported cryptocurrency pairings, if the exchanges agree to list Enjin Coin on their trading platforms.

Enjin Coin’s integration with Coinomi is an important step for Enjin Coin and we’re very glad to be adopted by such a popular wallet.

Read the announcement here...

This is a very cool collaboration. I do have a question though:

Why are you guys only accepting ethereum as valid payment to get enjincoin? Is there a reason that I cannot purchase your coin with bitcoin? I was looking at the site earlier today and noticed that only eth is the valid payment for purchasing coin. I would like to, if possible, buy with bitcoin without having to exchange my btc for eth.

The line that stands out in this statement of yours is the animation/graphic design part. That can really help you get into bitcoin. Go over to the services section and try to find people who are looking for graphic designers. They are willing to pay a lot of money to have exactly what they want on time. If you are confident in your ability to design, then you can even start trying to put your work into signature campaign design threads and see if you can get chosen. Those designers have the chance to get paid a lot.
1059  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign Question on: September 06, 2017, 05:37:05 PM
I have no intent to leave my signature campaign but I'm curious to know, is it considered rude or unreliable to join a signature campaign and leave it for another?  I would think it is an annoyance but I see people post in various campaign threads that they are leaving.

Some campaign managers look into whether or not you've been sig hopping. Also, when your posts are counted, I wouldn't be surprised if managers kept the information about whether or not you've been posting in a different signature campaign thread. What I can tell you now is that if you're getting paid and you're content with the campaign that you're in, don't get greedy. There may be other campaigns that pay higher, but you're already in one as of now and you can save yourself the hassle of moving around.
1060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Spot A Bitcoin Scam on: September 06, 2017, 02:55:03 PM
There is one extremely straightforward rule - if it looks too good to be true then it is.

On top of that always google site:bitcointalk.org 'subject' and see if anything comes up. If nothing at all comes then that's not an encouraging sign.

Risk free returns are impossible. If there was a legitimate interest paying Bitcoin option I can guarantee you every single Bitcoin on Earth would pile into it instantly as they're all sat doing nothing. There is literally not one on the entire planet.

Lending on well known exchanges has enough risk, let alone all these bullshit ponzis. Have you been offered a specific 'opportunity'?

Also google 'coin name scam'. If other people are having problems with that coin, they will have written about it and it should come up when you google.

This is surprisingly simple but also a good piece of advice. Google is a very powerful tool if you know how to use it correctly. Also, for the most part, coins are scams when they seem too good to be true or when they're fudging numbers. Always use your intuition to see whether or not a deal seems too good to be true.
