601  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN PREDICTIONS BY SUMMER 2018 on: December 02, 2017, 06:36:53 PM
OBVIOUSLY, IT SHOULD BE CLEAR AS DAY THAT BTC HAS LEGS .. ANYONE THINK IT CAN REALISTICALLY HIT THE 50K MARK WITHIN A YEAR? OR IS THIS A BUBBLE READY TO BURST? WHERE DO YOU SEE IT SITTING SUMMER OF 2018?

SPEAK ON IT

I remembered few months ago people are just asking if bitcoin would hit $8000 to $10,000 before the year ends, that was when the price was around $5,000 per coin and now that it hit the $10,000 people are now asking if bitcoin can hit $50,000 in less than 6 months. I appreciate the enthusiasm of people about the price of the coin but we need to be realistic. Once bitcoin doubled it's price from today other people will think that it is a bubble because of it's rapid increase on prices.

We must consider factors that some people are just waiting for a specific price and will eventually dump their coins usually intervals of $5K and $10K to $50K will pass through it a lot. During these intervals bitcoin's price will take some times before the price stabilize, like what happened when it hit the $10k level in fact until now price is still trying to stabilize. So i don't think $50k by summer of 2018 is feasible.

I don't think that 50k by next summer is very valid either. I have a feeling that we'll be able to hit 20k max if we go with the best scenario for btc (everything goes smoothly, more companies want to support it, etc.). However, it's much more likely that we won't be able to achieve that perfect set. We'll probably run into issues here and there so maybe 15k by summer would make more sense...
602  Economy / Speculation / Re: FANTASTIC !!! --- 3 years ago Tim Draper predicted $10K per Bitcoin by 2018 ! on: December 02, 2017, 06:28:56 PM
What's so special in that? Search this Speculation section, you will find many predictions for $10K, some of them with exact timing too. It is not so special in case of Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies to make predictions because there isn't any parameter to do so. This market moves random and every prediction is more or less guess or inner wisdom!

Exactly. There are so many people who come out with their opinions and speculations, and I think that's great. However, it just so happened that this guy (Tim Draper) was at the front of a couple of news shows. Look into these forums and you'll find many who have predicted the 10k but the thing is, they didn't have the same public presence as this guy. Everyone can speculate, I think it's just a matter of luck.
603  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why people from 3rd countries are crazy about getting cryptos? on: December 02, 2017, 02:41:36 AM
This is a serious problem, i dont have anything about those people, because it is not their fault to be borned in there.

But i have noticed that they all are just doing the same, introduce themselves into cryptos in order to have a better future.

Why you all are looking for the same? i mean, most of you are hoping to be millionaires and you are the first reason of why bitcoin has been so hyped lately.

Probably 1,5/3 of total forum population is from Philippines and Indonesia, and those are the majority in here, and you all are hyping bitcoin as hell.

Is there a reason to be buying bitcoins like crazy people? Or just trying to get them at any cost? Please, give me some explanations, maybe i am missing something.

This is not a racist thread, i just want to know more about your situation.

I see that you have made it pretty clear that you don't intend for this to be a racist post, which I and I'm sure many others appreciate a lot. Thanks for that!

I think the reason for seeing people from third world countries is that bitcoin can have a much larger lasting impact on them rather than us in first world countries. In general, things in third world countries are cheaper as is the cost of living when compared to large areas in first world countries.
604  Economy / Economics / Re: The good news is Bitcoin price has already broken $10000 on: December 02, 2017, 12:32:33 AM
now Bitcoin price is all time high, I saw the news from China Central Television said there is a huge bubble in bitcoin. do you think so ?

https://www.aicoin.com/chart/59D56005

BTC:
At present level, day traders should stop chasing high even though it means you may miss a chance to make a fortune. Believe it or not, a correction is on the way in the next few days as we can see on the daily chart with an increase in volumes, as for the target, price at 5-Day MA may be the temporary destination for the upcoming adjustment.

BCH:
The fact that BCH price can remain above the key level $1,520 is enough to indicate the strength of BCH as BTC remains extremely strong. Main funds in BCH are probably waiting for a chance, it’s very likely for BCH to move upward once BTC price moves sideways or begins a choppy move. Lots of investors quitted the game after price broke below $1,520 and surged above it later yesterday. Therefore, just wait for your chance.

ETC:
On daily chart, ETC price is expected to continue its uptrend as main funds hold lots of chips right now and find it difficult to sell their positions out considering the control strength in previous sessions. The reason why I suggested to reduce our positions by 50% yesterday was because the volumes are too large and price might be pulled back to 5-Day MA, therefore, it’s better to book part of our profits. As for adding to our positions, we don’t need to rush for it.

LTC:
When BTC price reached $5,000, LTC price was $82, but, after BTC sets a new all-time price with $10,000, LTC impresses us with an increase by $10 in price, which fully indicates how slow LTC is in increasing its value. However, LTC still sets a new all-time high and wins over most of the altcoins though the range is narrow. Don’t you think the surge is the result of a control in price, especially when no major bullish news emerges?

ETH:
From a psychological point of view, people will feel it hard to accept the fact that price is still moving sideways after 7 or 8 days. After being moving sideways for 5 days, are you ready for a longer sideway move of ETH price? Here’s my analysis: the present consolidation remains normal as long as price holds above $450. The purpose for

I do believe that bitcoin is pretty much always in some form of a bubble form. However, I don't believe that it's a bad thing. The bubble aspect of it is what allows it to rise so quickly. Even though it means a quick fall as well, I think there are some benefits in how bitcoin is structured and used that allow for it to be fine as a bubble.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JACK BOGLE SAYS ‘AVOID BITCOIN LIKE A PLAGUE’ on: December 01, 2017, 09:05:30 AM
Bitcoin is a hot topic after record of $10,000. Vangurad Group founder Jack Bogle now warns investors to keep their fund away from the Bitcoin industry.
Check here: Avoid bitcoin like a plague

Of course, at this rate of growth people will be trying their best in order to get the most out of purchasing. He may be found purchasing after he tanks the price a little and continues to ride the wave as many whales do. Honestly, the more people say that now, the more of a chance there is to buy low.
606  Economy / Speculation / Re: Triple digits by 2018? on: November 30, 2017, 04:16:10 AM
Do you think we could see sub $1k prices at some point next year? I mean, is that even a possibility?

Thanks

It's just an intermittent cycle that scares a lot of people. Some whales decide to pull out their money, so they do and the prices drop. More whales follow. Then, the initial whales who pulled out decide to buy at this newer low price and start making the price go back up while all of the other whales follow. The price continues to rise because people are buying after the drop. This will continue for a while; don't doubt it. However, there are more players in this game getting involved now, meaning that there are more whales which can end up being beneficial for the average user here on out.
607  Economy / Economics / Re: We gonna talk about that flash crash? on: November 29, 2017, 10:24:32 PM
No theory at all, whales are just taking their money now. After a quick dumped, look at the charts again now as the price of bitcoin is now starting to be fueled and pumping again. And as you will notice, majority of the crypto's are on down so these whales are seriously simply taking their profits.

I find the system very funny. Whales pull out and they drop the price which is what they want right? They want to be at the forefront of sales, so when they do sell, they get the most and the price for BTC drops. Which means that this opens up a whole new opportunity for them to purchase again because the price is low again. They want to max their profits out so they buy low sell high, but in the process, they create the next cycle as well.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is falling ? 9000?!? on: November 29, 2017, 10:21:35 PM
My guess is hitting 10 000 was a milestone for a lot of people and it went as high as 11.5k+ earlier today then a whale sold off or something and here is the problem with a bunch of people who own a % selling.. they create a snowball effect and others panic and get scared and start selling. How low will it go? No one knows as for long term hodlers you have nothing to worry about : ). So just hold
Disclaimer: this is not financial advise trade at your own risk

It's probably just correction, which makes sense after we plowed through such a huge barrier at 10k. Honestly, I didn't think that we were going to make it past 10,000 as quickly as we did, but it just so happened that it was pushed to the side super quickly. Of course, with that strong of a push in growth, there is bound to be an fairly strong push in the opposite direction with corrections and people selling their BTC to drop the price and buy more later too. Whales rule these exchanges; I can assume that a lot of them were involved.
609  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k? Too fast or just hyped? on: November 29, 2017, 08:13:33 AM
Are you worried with the current pace of the rise in pricing of Bitcoin? Is it too fast? Are we expecting a dormant Q1 of next year? Any speculation? Share your thoughts below.

I genuinely see no reason as of now as to why Bitcoin would suddenly slow down. For most of those huge drops there has been some kind of explanation. For example with the drop in Q3 of this year, the main reason was the China FUD. I don't really see anything of the sorts coming unless there are plans for a lot more hard forks. In this case, we'll see bubbles leading up to each of the forks and then a correction right after as well.
610  Economy / Economics / Re: Will it be profitable to purchase BTC or ETH for fiat right now on: November 29, 2017, 08:11:20 AM
Hello,
I have some money to invest in cryptos. Nevertheless, in last 3 month BTC did x3, ETH did x1.5. I`m not sure if it will grow anymore... What do you think?

I know it may seem counterintuitive, but I think it might actually be worth it to wait out for a correction to come by and drop the price. That way, you will have an opening at a lower price of Bitcoin and you may be able to profit off of the next bullish run or if Bitcoin stabilizes at some value, you may be able to just break even worst case. If you buy now and it just so happens that the correction comes tomorrow, you'll end up in the red. Try to buy when you see drops that are promising and not destructive.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN milestone 10000$. Continue to rise or not??? on: November 29, 2017, 08:08:06 AM
I think it'll get to 13k by christmas

This is actually surprisingly feasible now; the strength of the growth right now is just absolutely insane. I have no idea how it will be sustained and how long it will go on for, but it seems like everyone will be trying to hop on the train as soon as they can and this can end up driving price even further up. Really sucks for the guy who spent his money on pizzas back when Bitcoin was a couple of cents...
612  Economy / Economics / Re: huge crypto market correction incoming on: November 29, 2017, 07:42:02 AM
Does this current bullish cycle not worry anyone?
Most people that know how markets work know that healthy markets need to correct to continue growing.
The current bullish cycle is larger than the first and second one, where we saw some nasty corrections, meaning things could get real dirty, real soon.
Market cap has increased from $250B to $310B within 7 days.
I want to know what people think.

It definitely worries me, but I don't think I'll stop holding anytime soon. Sure a correction could tank everything, but in the end, there is strong support for crypto going into 2018 and that's really the only reassurance that I need for now. It also amazes me how quickly and firmly bitcoin broke the 10,000 sell barrier wall. It seems like this bullish run could keep going for a bit longer before the corrections come into play. Not sure if this is the best opinion you'll get, but this is what I've been going with for the past few months.
613  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k is so damn close!! on: November 29, 2017, 04:16:48 AM
Now its 10300+ at coinbase  Roll Eyes

It literally blasted through the sell wall. This coin is amazing and so odd at times I just can't comprehend it... It defies all odds when it comes to things like growth and drops. This volatility might just end up hitting new levels next year but I still believe we'll be in the green.
614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chart of the Day | The Road to $10000 on: November 29, 2017, 01:51:17 AM
How much do you think that it is going to rise? I was never expecting to see it going over $10000 just by this year.

I was talking with my cousing by phone today, he told me that he had more than 3.30 bitcoins on his wallet.dat
But he does not remember his private key and the password, and of course, the recovery phrase. I told him that he was dumb as hell, he now could have more than thirty thousand dollars, oh my god, i dont even know what would i do with that amount of money.
I have some bitcoins on my wallet, but i would not even be able to face a loss of more than 0.05, they are a lot of money.

Rough on your cousin. But hey, don't be too harsh on him. Everyone does end up making mistakes and it's not necessarily his fault. However, if he has any connection to his private key or his password, that would be key in getting his money back. You should ask him if he does. Also, you're in the boat with a lot of people. Even the smallest increments of bitcoin mean so much to people. Perhaps we will end up using another unit to measure the average bitcoin transaction nowadays?
615  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with our new found wealth??? on: November 29, 2017, 01:46:25 AM
I'm currently investigating how to stay under the radar with regards to the profits made from crypto.

So, let's say we made millions, how do you get some of the money back to fiat, but without making waves with the government.

Added, I stay in a corrupt country where large scale government corruption is the norm.

Any help will be appreciated.

PS: Is the idea of crypto not to be anonymous.

The way to do this is to get the money out bit by bit. You can't withdraw huge amounts all of a sudden. You need to pace it over a course of time such that you don't alert them so that you don't have to pay taxes on it. Honestly, if you hypothetically do end up with that much bitcoin, it would be best to hold most of it anyway. There's a while to go before bitcoin reaches its ultimate peak and we'll probably see that value emerge in 2018.
616  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on Black Friday on: November 29, 2017, 01:27:52 AM
Bitcoin crashed from $1000 to $300 on black Friday four years ago

I asked about this previously as well on a thread somewhere on here. It seems like there are some connections between black friday and bitcoin, I know that there has been some slight correlations as we've seen with this past one. I would venture to say that a majority of BTC users are in the United States. Not sure how true it is, but I believe that it holds some weight. As bitcoin is seen more as a currency, the more people will use it as so.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin 10.000$!!!! What's Next? on: November 28, 2017, 05:56:59 PM
I think next one is 15k$. LOL. But I think it'll take few months for Bitcoin price to reach to 15k$ cause I think that in next few days there will be a big dump in Bitcoin price because of the whales trying to buy some more low price Bitcoin before it's the last time they see Bitcoin price under 10k$ Smiley)

Yeah, common corrections do come after strong showings like this. Hopefully right after that first correction we bust through 10,000. I don't see 15k being too far off if the growth continues like it has been for the past few months. I find it amazing how the China FUD has led to this -- I would have assumed that bitcoin would have been dead! Just makes you think how much further this darn coin can go.
618  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit 10K. What's Next? on: November 28, 2017, 05:46:32 PM
I think 10k$ is the highest price for this time, maybe it'll dump to 9k$ then will rise back again Smiley). This drama has been replayed many times and I think this time will be the same with it was before Smiley). The whales will try to dump the price of Bitcoin then buy it back at lower price to get more profit Cheesy
I concur. The new floor would be $9000 and it will stabilize in between $9000 and $10000 (more or less). Whales pumping and dumping a little bit then pump.is the new trend for them. They do accumulate a lot of bitcoins and money alike by doing so.

Agreed. The correction shouldn't be too steep. 10% sounds like it's in the ballpark of a nice stable area. Whales will be trying to drop the price right now as many people have probably already sold at 10k. We'll see them pumping again when we hit a lower milestone, maybe around 9,500 or 9,000. Regardless, I think the overall support for bitcoin right now is too strong to make room for a drop that's more than under 9,000 for the price of btc.
619  Economy / Services / Looking for a graphics designer for a personal project on: November 28, 2017, 04:59:14 AM
Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a graphics designer to create an image from scratch in photoshop if possible. I will provide the details via pm if you are willing to do this. Also, I'd like to see some of your previous works.

Please send me a pm if you're able to work with creating original content (lot of image editing). I don't think this project will take too long -- I just need it to look good. We can discuss price over PM!

Shoot me a message!

620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the Best Time to Buy BTC at 10k on: November 28, 2017, 04:51:07 AM
With BTC sooner or later within these days hitting the 10k mark (now around 9-10k) i cant help but wonder if one can buy BTC and still make a profit or should i just hold on to my ethereum and watch the market due to the fact that it can fall back

You should wait until after we hit the 10k mark and reach a correction period. If you see the price dipping below 9k, it's a good time to buy. We'll be having some growth next year but there is a strong chance that people have put in their sell offers at 10k for what they believe will be the max profit they'll get. Honestly, I think if they stick around longer, they'll get more, but it's their choice; we'll need to see how it goes.
