Well thanks for understanding. I didn't want you to feel cheated.

Vezunchik, we did not correspond. I'm sorry if I led you to believe that you should just send coins.
I would have returned them for what it's worth. I'm sure no one in bitcoin believes this, but I would have.

Yeah true enough. I guess I assumed people were following through...silly me.
|
|

How do people think they can totally get away with scamming a bunch of people with vast computer knowledge unless they are single and willing to leave the country...quickly.
I mean this community is easy to scam because of greed, but once you have the loot you need to skeedaddle.
Hell hath no fury like a nerd with internet access...

To ssataneth,
So I assume all is okay ? I didn't really inspect anything heavily, because I literally turned off a machine that had 3 5970's running on that board(for several months) took off the GPU's, etc. and then put it into its original box.
I don't ever want to rip anyone off(too much of that around here) and I have a fair amount more to sell.
Please confirm you are satisfied.
Thank You.

ssateneth has received his combo. I have more of these available.
The seasonic 1250x are a great deal, best psu on the market for quality, warranty and power output. This beast is still super efficient even at 1200 watts.
I have up to four of the 1250x psus available.

Shipped on Monday, Sveetsnelda can reply once received and verified to be in working order.
|
|
|
Yeah, well I guess I'll have to keep them and build rigs for people.

Is your offer 119.99 ? not sure what you stated there.

Coins received, will ship monday with tracking info.

ElectricMucus spelled it out and no one listened. Others here with advanced engineering knowledge said that at the very least, the ASIC's are too ambitious with their specs.
Miners didn't listen because greed is a powerful force. Sure I'll give you an interest free loan for six months so I can be RICH, easy money.
Or maybe not even an interest free loan, how about free money for the vendor.
So maybe some of these vendors actually did make an honest attempt at building these devices, I believe some did and still are trying to make it work.
The problem is, you have these business noobs with zero experience trying to co-ordinate a multi-million dollar project. Many with even less technical experience.
So how does this equation work ?
Little or no business knowledge + limited technical expertise + under-capitalized = Kick Ass ASIC!
Seriously folks, is this community so naive that they don't realize that running a successful business is actually difficult ?
That experienced business people don't berate customers on internet forums or at any time or place? *cough* Josh *cough*
That developing a custom chip, in a foreign country, is not an easy task ?
Yet some of us implored all of you to think twice about BFL back in June, to maybe hold your money until they could produce something. Nope, your greed got the best of you.
Hmmm and let me see, had you held your coins, you would have tripled your money already. How's that for easy money?
Troll/Justify/Rationalize away, you got scammed period, even if these vendors deliver. You've lost 300% in opportunity cost.
In the business world, this is a loss no matter how you slice it. Mining is a business folks.

That's BS. These projects didn't NEED to happen in the first place. The 51% thing has been debunked as a viable threat because the attacker shoots themselves in the foot.
Someone would have come along and developed an ASIC on their own regardless.
I still stand by my original post. If these companies needed pre-order money to FUND an ASIC, then they should have offered terms which reflected the true risk of the project by paying equity or interest on the customers capital investment.
Pre-orders are for established products were the demand outstrips supply.
Pre-orders are NOT an ethical way to raise capital for a start-up project.
