All seals are equal, but some seals are more equal than others.

They just locked the thread and left this gem:

If you do not like how anything is run at SwC, feel free to play elsewhere.....

We will continue to make improvements for our loyal players and are proud to continue to bring them epicly low rake.

Hey, how about SWC going through their thread and deleting 58 posts (and counting!) over the course of a couple days? Guess that whole HH thing was pretty embarrassing for them in retrospect.

I can't believe that the post about them raising the rake again without notifying players didn't get axed. When did SWC get so shady?

Hey, I think you guys forgot to announce that SWC changed the house rules and is no longer covering the transaction fee for withdrawals. Are there any other changes that players should know about?

I hear that you started raking rebuys and add-ons sometime in the last few weeks, too. I couldn't find any mention of that on the website, though. How much are rebuys and add-ons being raked now? When was the change made?

When do the rake increases go into effect? It looks like the rake webpage was updated but I haven't seen any official announcements?

I do understand why you may feel a little confused how one of the signees could send me the email, especially since multiple signees never saw the email or knew their names were signed to it before it was sent.......but someone did send me a copy of the email, and it was not SwC.

Thanks, but I'll wait on verification from whoever is running the official SWC account these days about who is privy to what information. You seem to know a suspicious amount about the inner workings of SWC for a nobody who just sends screenshots to support. Either that, or you're being dishonest about what you do know.

Where can I sign up as a regular seal to learn things like which SWC security flaws resulted in a multiaccounter going undetected until he brought it to the site's attention personally?

I've been around SWC for a minute and I don't ever recall a regular player knowing the outcomes of security audits and that in a certain case, the security team was able to track these three specific accounts back to this specific player who was multiaccounting. I hear that when other people report cheaters to SWC, support won't even confirm or deny that they took action against the player.

Quote
The terrorists I was referring to were were several players who I had seen a screenshot of discussing how they were planning on undermining the new rules and their strategy to maximize passive aggressiveness and try to not cross the line, in an effort to 'break me'.  Ill give you the names privately but dont care to stir things up publicly, but were signees.

So what you're saying is that some keyboard warriors got you so worked up and paranoid that you thought an earnest letter written in good faith by long-time players (that was not addressed to you, and none of your business) was some sort of diabolical plot? Maybe you should consider changing careers.

There is no hit list, everyone who has been muted, has been trying to push the boundaries, or refused to fold an honor SwC's requests.

Pretty meaningless when just typing "YAWN" is "pushing the boundaries" and a bannable offense. Did you ever decide whether beans would catch another ban if he says "wankers" again? Was that so spicy that it is driving away the 500 new players you are guaranteeing by the end of the year? Or, in retrospect, was that a total overreaction because you were upset and making things personal again?

I saw someone say that SwC shows me emails, that is not true, I discuss with them why players were muted when the player emails in, and the screnshot I saw, was from a discord where players who are on board with the changes, send me screenshots of abusive/racist behavoir.

Actually, it was YOU who said that SWC shows you emails. Do you remember that time when 25 players signed an email sent to support@swcpoker.eu expressing concerns with the rule changes? You then confronted one of the signers in the trollbox and told him:

https://imgur.com/a/EqoJGm0

I have included the text of the original letter below to show that calling the signers "terrorists" is both pejorative and a gross exaggeration.

I have redacted the names of the signers lest they be subjected to additional punishment for respectfully submitting their opinions to support. Somehow, you managed to get a copy of that email as well, even though to my knowledge, it was never mailed to you and only sent directly to support@swcpoker.eu.

What about this email struck you as a terroristic threat? Why would support break the trust of these players and show you an email not addressed to you? Why did you think it was appropriate to use that information to openly mock the signers in the trollbox and make a hit list of "terrorists" that need to be banned from the site?

I personally don't trust emailing support any longer because I have no idea who they are sharing my emails with at this point. I would have never expected they would share confidential emails with another player for use as ammunition.

Dear SWC,

Somewhere along the way, through years of playing and chatting together, and several different software iterations, the players at your site have become a community. As such, we'd like to address the way in which the recent changes have been made, which have been met with almost universal disapproval (and not merely from players who have been chat banned). We understand the desire to make SWC a more desirable place to play and would gladly welcome an influx of new players. However, we also want to retain what made SWC unique amongst all other poker sites and what made it feel like home to many: the ability to speak your mind, to respectfully (or not so respectfully) disagree with someone, or just chat about nothing at all really-because that's what you do with your friends. We're not upset that a small handful of words are banned; we're not upset that referral links aren't allowed, we're not upset that you are enforcing these rules. What's frustrating to us is the manner in which the rules are being enforced and the feeling that SWC is turning their back on some of their most loyal supporters. With that in mind, here are some suggestions from the community that would help improve the situation:

- A clear list we can refer to about what exactly is banned
-Electing a group of mods chosen by the community (with SWC input) who can enforce these rules with common sense and without bias
-Either remove or significantly reduce any Krill requirements to chat
-Give warnings instead of banning for first time offenders
-Shorten the ban time and remove infractions for those banned recently for minor transgressions

It's a testament to the site that a player like beans could be chat banned and still help make sure players have chips to play here, or that a someone like Malkavian would still stream and promote SWC despite being too new to actually chat under the current requirements. Please don't squander this goodwill.

2- No. He just reports players to management, kind of like you are right now.

Just reports players to management, but somehow can view the screenshots that other players send to support@swcpoker.eu by HH's own admission.

How many other players do you think spend time every day with SWC going through the emails sent to support?

I know multiple people who have been waiting 10+ days for a simple response from SWC support, but somehow this regular player who "just reports players to management" reads other players' emails to support on a daily basis.

Can you please respond to my question? There has been no official clarification.

Is higherhighs an SWC employee or an account sanctioned by SWC to moderate chat?
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ SwC Poker ♣️ BITCOIN POKER ♣️ Hold'em✅ PLO✅ Mixed✅ MTT✅ ♣️ BBJ🌟 ♣️ BIG BTC🏆 on: July 16, 2020, 02:43:54 AM
To support@swcpoker.eu:

Can you please remove higherhighs from the trollbox? If you want to ban the N-word and F-word, great. I fully support those decisions. But this guy is instigating all of the misery in the trollbox right now and then playing the victim card when it inevitably escalates.

Is this person even sanctioned by you? I feel like this must be a troll since it's so over the top, but people keep getting muted and the rules keep getting changed to ban all possible instances of higherhighs' feelings getting hurt, so that's confusing.

Please just post the chat rules prominently and keep it objective. For example, "you can't tell people to kill themselves" and "don't say the N-word or post links referring to the N-word" instead of including wildly subjective rules like "no player abuse" (whatever that means). Then, quietly mute people who break the rules without having higherhighs confront them in the trollbox. If they want to discuss the reasons for the ban, stick to email.

For whatever reason, higherhighs cannot moderate chat without making it personal and involving himself in every conversation that has nothing to do with him. His constant barrage of "you're pushing it," "this is your final warning," "you've been pushing the edge all week long," "that's not the only reason we banned beerman," "chat is a privilege," "stop abusing me" bullshit just makes it worse. Why would you even discuss the reasons for player bans with EVERYONE IN THE TROLLBOX?

It only escalates arguments when higherhighs tells someone they're banned, but the ban won't take effect until 12 hours from now when someone wakes up. Then, the player rages out for the next 12 hours and higherhighs escalates the conflict even further by increasing the length of the ban because he's feeling "abused." He has directly instigated the abuse he complains of in almost all cases I've seen.

Letting higherhighs report people based on his personal dislike of certain players is a disastrous, ill-conceived policy that only serves to make him feel like he has control over some aspect of his life and inflates his ego. He thinks he is entitled to respect because his chat color is green, and when that fails, he resorts to intimidation, fear tactics, and misdirected punishment. It doesn't work that way. You have to earn people's respect.

You're driving away players and making SWC look terrible. The 500 krill requirement to chat is punishing new players. Do yourself a favor and take away higherhighs' chat. It won't stop him from reporting people by email, but will prevent the current trainwreck in the trollbox from continuing, and might possibly slow the hemorrhage of players from the site.

If you're wondering why there's so many BIG BTC players diluting your equity, it's because you get a free ticket if you take enough random abuse in chat.

The solid foundation of quick cashouts, low rake, and player-friendly environment must be paired with professional software.

Player-friendly environment? I guess you haven't met the SWC chat moderator.

Why to send below 1MANNA when you get 15 every week without referrals, and 1 MANNA is less than 0,01$ so I really don't see a point to send it.

I saw some of the airdrops alerting pages started to promote manna project and that will for sure bring more people to this community. The question is how will that reflect to the amount of Manna we get every week.

The pool is same every week as far as I know but the number of people increasing so will we get much less and less with every new week?

Yes, you earn less each week. I'm now earning less than a third of what I was earning in March.

Honestly, signing a message doesn't prove anything except that they know someone who has 43 BTC and they're willing to pay the transaction fee to move it to a separate wallet and sign on Betcoin's behalf. It doesn't prove that Betcoin owns the wallet.

However, their refusal to sign tells me that the funds are not segregated (if they exist at all). What is the harm in signing a message when it doesn't really show anything? Nothing, unless 1) you can't actually come up with 43 BTC, even if it doesn't belong to you or 2) they don't want to show an address that had its balance go from zero to 43 BTC a couple days ago because that would show that the funds hadn't been segregated all along.

The only way that Betcoin can "prove" anything is by shipping 43 BTC to the BBJ winner. To be honest, all of this delay is probably because they're having issues with the code that will let them pre-select the BBJ winner so that they can redistribute the funds among themselves at a later date while not having technically "stolen" anything.

They said they were going to change the way krill are awarded under the new system. They haven't done that, so they currently have a VIP program that's not worth much.

They said they were going to support the Bitcoin Gold fork. They haven't done that. You might want to check how much the BTG they're holding for you is worth.

They continually remove/reduce krillrolls and guarantee tournaments with no explanation and no warning. They have the resources to continually futz with the tournament schedule and yet every change they make is negative.

They said they were going to have more of a promotional presence in 2018, instead they've completely vanished.

I'm not as negative as DarkDays but I'm also not interested in redepositing on the site, or holding any money there, under the current state of play.

You guys remind me of some high school dweeb who has sat by the phone for the last 500 consecutive nights because a year and a half ago some really hot cheerleader asked for his number and said she'd call. Just stop. Stop steaming, stop waiting, stop crying, stop complaining, stop trying to guilt trip them into being something they're not, stop thinking this is your destiny and you'll never find another.

SORRY BRO, but SWC JUST ISN'T INTO YOU. ANY OF YOU.

I'm also confused about what's going on here. It seems like the last month or so, every big announcement has been reversed in short order:

we're stealing the BBJ because our TOS says we can / just kidding, we're distributing the BBJ according to rake paid / just kidding, we're distributing it a different way because we hired the old staff back and they were too incompetent to do it(?)

the new owners are closing the poker site / the new owners are reopening the poker site / the new owners are reopening poker in general but closing the poker site to U.S. citizens because it's a stipulation of our gaming license / the new owners are accepting poker players from all countries

Seriously, what's going on here? Are the U.S. players going to be kicked off the site again after the BBJ has been distributed? Can we please get some specifics on when and how the BBJ will be divested?

Information! Sorry. The BTC address was not airdropped BTR due to limited 840K supply, but check again in February for some award.

What award, like Miss Congeniality? Glad I went to all that trouble to find and sign wallet addresses and then waited patiently while you missed your self-imposed wallet deadline and left snarky comments aimed at people politely inquiring about it on twitter.

You guys should have been able to tell exactly when your 840K supply was exhausted, but chose to accept addresses until some arbitrary deadline. So far, I'm extremely underwhelmed by BTR ops and management. GL getting listed on an exchange.

We are very excited to be taking over what will be a new and improved Betcoin.ag. Additionally, we apologize for the delayed response, but we have been very busy keeping up with the new changes. We would like to respond to the people who have inquired about poker bonus chips and the bad beat jackpot. Both of these were promotions which, according to the site's terms and conditions, could be changed or cancelled at any time. With the discontinuation of our poker program, we are unable to continue these promotions. Thanks again to all our great players and supporters. We look forward to entering this new chapter with you!

Wait, I'm confused. "We are very excited to be taking over..."/"With the discontinuation of our poker program..." makes it sound like the person who is taking over the poker program is the same person who is running the current poker program.

Are you taking over the poker site or are you scuttling it? Did you guys "acquire" the poker portion of Betcoin with the intention of discontinuing it? That seems like a pretty -EV decision unless you're running a competing site (there aren't any) or it's a complete fabrication to conceal an exit scam, which is my guess. Assuming for a minute that you're telling the truth, do you realize that those terms and conditions were a contract between the "old" Betcoin company and its players? If Betcoin wanted to steal the BBJ in accordance with the terms and conditions, they would have needed to do so before the 25th.

On the other hand, if this is simply an exit scam, there's no need to follow terms or conditions, so just go ahead and steal it and stop bullshitting the players you stole from.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Withdrew from Coinpot to scam site - "Pending" after 2 days - Help Please! on: December 24, 2017, 01:50:52 AM
I actually received a LTC withdrawal from coinpot on the 21st. It took about a day after I put in the request. Have you searched for the BTC address you gave them on blockchain explorer? I heard that their BTC transactions are taking forever because of network congestion and I'm sure they're using small fees. I have heard others recommend that you convert your withdrawal to Dash or LTC so you receive it in a reasonable amount of time. That being said, they have been offline for maintenance for 24 hours or so, so if your withdrawal is not already in the mempool you might be waiting a while.
20  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: December 19, 2017, 12:43:58 PM
Nitrogen sports just started a .001 fee (around 18 dollars) to withdraw but they do offer 1 free withdrawal per week. So yeah maybe SWC can off one free withdrawal per week and then charge .0006

Seems reasonable to me.
