103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advisors importance on: January 16, 2018, 02:50:41 PM
I definitely agree with the previous post.  Have a some well known advisors does help as it gives a comfort level to investors.  People are always willing to invest more with someone they know and trust.
True, the more well known and trusted a team, the easier it will be for ICO to succeed. because it's true, people will more easily invest in projects with well-known or trusted teams

Some project without visible team do well too.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO for Coffee Trading on: January 16, 2018, 02:44:25 PM
I think i have seen such projects on bitcointalk, can't remember the thread link. It is a nice idea to me and i think it can do well if well manage and if they bring something new.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stellar on: January 16, 2018, 02:23:45 PM
Is it time to sell Stellar or is there still place for a miracle?

Presently the market is down and all the coins are going down. I am not sure it is the best time to sell Stellar. Just HODL your coin.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 15, 2018, 09:20:01 AM
Yes it is very possible it depends on which country it is banned, mostlikely if the president signed an executive order there will be no excuses if a ban happens, look at china mining activities has stopped and gave us a lot of problem because most of big mining companies stopped when the prime minister ordered it.We cant do anything about it when the government will totally declined blockchain technology.

But if Government totally declines blockchain technology that doesn't mean the citizen cannot participate in bitcoin, in as much as the internet still function in the country.

109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 14, 2018, 04:29:37 PM
they could but not forever. bitcoin is the future of our money and it uses internet. as long as internet still available bitcoin will still exist. i dont why goverment afraid of it. its good for transaction yet they afraid it. ehat we need is regulation that could make bitcoin not become bubble investment

Governments are actually afraid of it rendering their fiat currency useless or worthless. But for me, i don't think bitcoin can render the fiat useless outrightly. It will rather make life easy.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Altcoins trading ideas on: January 13, 2018, 08:44:23 PM
Hmm. For me, if you would do day trading, don't wait for a big profit, 1 to 10 % percent change is enough. Short-term holding - trading.

Simple and straightforward. So this is possible daily?
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 13, 2018, 08:34:19 PM
In my country Bitcoin already ban, bitcoin cant be payment method only fiat money allowed, the government reason  ban it because he say bitcoin investment is high risk which can destroy the finances also many isu in my country created to disfigure bitcoin

banks will be affected bcoz of decentralized network , so yes many countries will think over it and either they will regulate these currencies or ban straight forward .

Yes, you right our national bank dont agree about bitcoin. they say bitcoin is illegal

I think this is the case in many countries. The fear of fiat becoming worthless. But i don't think bitcoin or altcoins popularity can outrightly make fiat worthless.

.... There are a lot of things/goods we can't buy with bitcoin, hence, fiat will still be needed for such transactions.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 13, 2018, 08:32:09 PM
They cant ever ban you to use or transfer btc on the internet, but they can ban it getting into regular exchanges and markets.

Anyhow, that will never happen.

That is the worst any country Govt can do.

in my opinion, this is just big player, they make an announce this big, the market fall, they buy and resell earning million, they doo't have ways to stop bitcoin, when you ear news of this kind buy

I am thinking same too... If you observe, the negative news do come our almost same time.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 13, 2018, 03:29:48 PM
Funny enough.. btc cannot  be ban by any country, unless they ban the internet.

My thoughts too. But the ban can only be on acceptance and restrictions of some sort. But those does not mean individuals cannot still participate in coins.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Altcoins trading ideas on: January 13, 2018, 03:14:41 PM

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 13, 2018, 03:10:13 PM
Yea. Any country can choose to accept or ban Btc or any other alt coin. It has actually happened already with many countries and it is still happening. For instance, a reputable Chief Imam of an Egyptian Mosque urges the country to ban Btc or any other alt coin, and put a clause that will maintain a forever ban on any future incursion of any cryptocurrencies in the country. Actually, some of the countries who banned Btc and other alt coins have given some explanations about why they will never give in to cryptocurrencies. Some of it include;
That cryptocurrencies are just a means to promote fraudulent acts in their respective countries.
Also that idea behind cryptos as digital is kind of demonic and unreal. Some even claim its a furtherance of the 666 imprint in order to hasten the reign of Satan. All these and some others have been proffered by these countries as reasons why they are banning cryptos. As for me, cryptos are just cool.

Wow.. This is interesting. We all have different view of bitcoin and altcoins. I believe cryptos are cool too.

Arbitrage robots are real, you need a good strategy to ensure profitability, and a lot of technicians have started using arbitrage strategies to make money.

Wow...

What is your bitcoin and altcoins trading strategy or ideas. Hopping to see response from gurus in the house.
I don't have any trading strategies. I only invest in ICO, because I can't stand the volatility of the short-term altcoin price, so I choose to invest in ICO, so I don't need to pay attention to the price of altcoin.

A lot of ICOs prices do fall drastically when they hit exchange. I personally have like 3 of such.
