Ethereum has being one of the most use coin for ICO. Ethereum is popular because it allow other projects be built on its protocol and such projects use Ethereum for their ICO sales.

Well, nothing is impossible. If some people wakeup and decide to pump it, it might get to that price and even higher. But Litecoin has been a coin with steady growth, no significant pump and dump. I think it will so well in 2018, but I can't say if it will get to $1000 by Dec.

Personally, i am into both. But lately, i am considering doing more of ICOs. There are a lot of ICOs with good ideas that worth investing these days. Do your research very well before jumping into ICOs.

It hard to determine when is best to buy. We often hear 'buy the deep' how do you identify the deep, when sometimes where you think is the deep goes deeper. Too many manipulations in the market. How i wish manupulaions can be curb but it is so unfortunate i dont think it can be curb.

I trade on Polonix and bittrex previously - i still have some coins there though. Now i am more active with most of my portfolio on Binance, nice trade volume and i love the apps both Windows and Android app.

It will be wise to spread your portfolio. Do not just invest all in XLM. Thus is crypto and not stock. Even in stock market I am not sure it is wise to put ur total portfolio on a stock.

Bitcoin transactions are very difficult to monitor by the government, so many people use it for many illegal activities, so the country banned bitcoin transactions for a reason.
That has being one of the major claims by Government. But I don't think it is just that. Fear of their Fiat currency becoming useless is one of the major reason to me. |

My question would be: "Why are you trying to interfere with the progress of Bitcoin? I think that it would be a lot of useless money being exchanged for that purpose." I am sorry, but I don't really get that. Are you saying you don't believe in Altcoins? Please clear me if am I wrong. Thanks. |

Personally, I would ask them specific questions regarding the ICO project itself - how did they come up with the idea for it, do they have previous experience in ICO's (as the answer on this one builds credibility), how are they proceeding with their marketing campaigns and are they experiencing boost in sales and high return on income, what is the value that this ICO adds to individual traders (besides profit) and does it resolve a real life problem, whitepaper, etc. The types of questions that I can come up is (probably) infinite, as there are always uncertainties. However, let me tell you something: I have actually contacted teams before prior to investing in a project. For example, I have invested in ICO's such as Bountie, Monero, Titanium, Red pulse but I never got to talk to the teams behind these ICO's (I paid the price from some of these "bad investments"). However, for projects such as Cointed, for example, I did contact their team prior to buying. The project seemed trustworthy and promising, however, I wanted to make sure. The team responded immediately both in Facebook and on Telegram. To be honest, their frank and timely responses actually converged me into buying.
This is exactly what I am talking about, I can't get such first hand info from Google. This is real life experience. Thanks a lot for your response. |

You should find answers in google,any team would be probably busy developing and running the ICO self researching would be more easy. Thanks for your response. But I think my post was very clear enough. Please read the starting part that says "If you have an opportunity to speak with..." I am seeking for opinion from real more knowledgeable people here. |

Do your research on the coin. Read the white paper, find out about the team, follow them and be active on twitter, also bitcointalk forum is a good place to know more about the coin you are researching.
