1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Building the next generation FAST CRYPTO CURRENCY MINING MACHINE on: April 21, 2013, 06:53:10 PM
sure a litecoin project interests me. With the latest developments, switching over sounds a good idea. You make some very good points as well.

1044  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WANT TO BUY (AVALON ASIC Batch 1) on: April 20, 2013, 04:16:59 PM
you're going to have a hard time finding someone that is willing to sell theirs. There was an auction recently on the forums where one went for $36k.. So you're going to have to dish out a lot of cash. But good luck in your search.

Brian
1045  Bitcoin / Mining support / Mine Litecoin with Avalon ASIC? Future.. on: April 19, 2013, 07:07:32 PM
Hello,
I have an Avalon ASIC miner coming and was thinking about the future..  At a time where bitcoins become uneconomical.  That a person could switch over to mining Litecoins.  I know this is quite a ways away (appears to be anyhow).  Avalon says it will only mine bitcoins, don't know if changes could be made.  Just kind of curious, any feedback would be welcome.

Brian

1051  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WANT TO BUY] Avalon Batch 2 ASIC on: April 18, 2013, 06:49:54 PM
you'd be lucky to get one for 20k regardless of the BTC exchange rate.  As the ROI appears to just be too good to sell.  I'm sure the person who responded did some research and found a better offer.  But good luck on your search..

Brian

1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: April 14, 2013, 05:04:45 AM
"newly formed" ASIC companies
+ 1

they should have to provide more details.  There should be a sticky that has number of important questions.  So we can see if they are real deal..

please please someone move this post.  It insults all intelligence..  Most people would kill for a batch #1, even #2.  $300 a day isn't to shabby.  I'll give you 10k for it right now.  If your not happy with the results.

Brian
1057  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: First BFL ASIC! on: April 12, 2013, 12:55:21 AM
bitbet.us had almost the same bet and it was not a "push".
http://bitbet.us/bet/265/bfl-will-deliver-asic-devices-before-april-1st/
Turns out bitbet.us may actually be in the wrong here! My Little Single is getting 29.4 Gh/s with a firmware update.
In their defense, the bet could be argued to require +/- 10% as delivered (eg, disqualifying firmware updates), but if this performance issue had merely been my software, they'd have defrauded people...
you sure say some stupid things.  You may have a unit, but the bet was for BFL to ship out units to customers.  Which they failed to do..
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: April 11, 2013, 07:42:27 PM
Mr. Cole, a few pages ago you said:

A better option for us might be to pay the cost of 5 flights and 5 hotels, to 5 forum members and bring you all over to Stockholm Sweden. Have a look at our devices. You can then pay in person for the device which you would be able to take home with you.

I offered myself to do check personally. You should already have a working prototype if you're about to open the preorders on your web.

So - when would you like to invite at least 5 Hero Members of these forums to check your hardware? Everything else is just useless chatter.

agree to this or go away.  Seems reasonable
1059  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "Fessler Foundation" Spinal Injury Research Charity Poker April 13 - BTC on: April 11, 2013, 06:58:16 AM
Hello,
interesting..  You should checkout http://www.scsus.org/ for the Spinal cord Society site.  They seem to be progressing quite well..  They offer a newsletter also.

ok thanks for providing an update.  Please give us some more details or a picture.  Otherwise it is just a waste of time for you and other members.  We do the digging up on each person/company.  To protect ourselves from fraud.
Thank you for your time
