They have had some unexpected issues. Such as POT.. I also will continue to be a coin holder as I see there is lots of potential..

Keep in mind I can't give set timelines right now and those are best guesses at fairly positive, no issue development timelines. Rarely do you ever NOT run into issues so we will just have to keep you all updated on how things are going and hopefully we can all be patient and understand that at the end of all of this, we will have a much stronger foothold in the industry.

many thanks for the update..
Regards,
Brian

I thought they were going to be daily updates. But even if there isn't, I'm hoping we can get updates more often and on a regular basis. This lets coin holders know that progress is being made. So I encourage the team to communicate a bit more..

Questions I would like to know (others probably want to know as well):

What is the ETA on a permanent fix?

How about an ETA on custom block chains?

Do we have a general ETA on the web design?

I also think, it may be a good idea to look into cloud mining and set up an investment fund. It is working well with some other coin I am invested in.

Thanks for your time,
Brian

Someone control the price ,do more marketing? More volume less control Smiley

it's probably best to have a more finalized product. Before we discuss marketing..
Yes, I'd like to see more volume and price appreciation.. But I am going to be somewhat patient as we are in the beta stages.

Brian

Status Update

We haven't had any major updates the last few days, and we could do periodic smaller development updates, but they would be really boring. It would be like apple updating every tweak they make to the iPhone. It would become nauseating at some point.

In light of that, I will still try to fill you in on what we have been up to.

Boris has been testing a change to LevelDB as well as moving to Node.JS 0.11 which should help us with optimization. He also has been working to improve the syncing process due to the few problems we saw when we launched the current version. One of his major points of focus right now is optimizing resource use and trying to get the client more lean and mean.

SyRenity and some of the other Board members will be holding a meeting tomorrow with a possible candidate to come on as a consultant to help us determine the solution long term for the PoT issue. We don't have a specific announcement about this yet but hope to soon.

Eric and Sebastian continue to test all of the changes Boris is making and ensure that they work out all of the bugs.

I have been working to finalize the agreement and guidelines for our new design package. We now have a designer and will be working on a progressive timeline to get this accomplished. We will be working with Christine Isslander (https://dribbble.com/christineissland) who did the design for Snapcard.io among many other really great projects. I will be highly focused on this area of the project for the next 3-4 weeks and working to get our sites and properties on par with the competition. I also took over duties for the main twitter feed.

Max and Litoshi have been consulting on many issues within our private boards as well as being available here to answer questions. Litoshi is also transitioning to picking up our bookkeeping / financial records management to ensure we are being as cost effective as possible. Max will also be leading the efforts to get some discussions going over at CryptiTalk.

Max, Litoshi, and I will also be working on getting a community group together to help us get the word out, test new versions, and just in general to get some of you guys more involved and interact more wherever possible. We would also like to setup some community chats or Q & A sessions in the near future to try to be more active. Max will be leading up a lot of these initiatives for us.

A.M. is working to secure a workspace and additional developers for Boris team and we are hoping to finalize this within the next 2 weeks as well.

All in all, we have a lot going on and everyone has been swamped with their respective areas. We are working on coming up with a format and manner in which to do more regular updates and what we might be able to report on a daily basis just to keep you guys a little more tuned in to our process.

As always, we will keep you up to date on important news and how things are going. Thanks for being a Cryptinaut (haha we are testing new names to see if any stick).
thanks for the update

MintPal is currently down for urgent bug fixes, and is additionally moving to new management (away from Moopay LTD). A statement will follow shortly.

Didn't Moopay just buy it like a few weeks ago??

Moolah is going down: http://www.coindesk.com/moolah-mintpal-closure-bankruptcy/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+CoinDesk+%28CoinDesk+-+The+Voice+of+Digital+Currency%29

Didn't see that coming. They did asked for suggestions on how to make things right earlier with the alt coin community(after some delays). I suggested new ownership. I guess that's what will happen.. Simply crypto should be coming out in the near-term future. Hopefully that is a better platform
regards,
Brian

I'm also curious.. Will there be some marketing soon or are we waiting for a more stable product? Such as a permanent fix..
Best regards,
Brian

I guess somebody wanted out. Perhaps the guy with 2M coins.. So be it.. We've seen some progress on the developmental front, so that is encouraging..
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypti | XCR | Ͼ | 3 PoS algorithms | Ed25519 | 2nd Gen Source on: October 12, 2014, 03:35:53 AM

Maybe it's my time to dump my 2M coins when next time the price is up.
I lost my confidence on the team.

Why consider my words a threat? Curious.......
I just express my real feelings.

It sure sounds like a threat to me..
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypti | XCR | Ͼ | 3 PoS algorithms | Ed25519 | 2nd Gen Source on: October 12, 2014, 03:01:05 AM
Zzyz........ Did your XCR get transferred from Bter yet?

Still an issue with bter. I transferred earlier and shows successful with tx ID but I can't even find on block explorer. I put in a ticket myself.

Me too, I can't see the withdrawed coin in wallet.crypti.me.
Of cause I can't see it the my own node either because of the block sync issue.

Seems forked again......bter and the official wallet are on the different fork.

Maybe it's my time to dump my 2M coins when next time the price is up.
I lost my confidence on the team.

So many months passed, the basic wallet still does not work.

Okay do it. As I've said this is similar to a Windows beta. Everything isn't going to be perfect in the beginning.. Talk is cheap, dump your coins if you're not happy.. We don't need threats..

UPDATE

The Linux and Windows wallets are now available for download and forging. Please read both posts in order to understand the changes and get started.

http://blog.crypti.me/version-0-1-7-release/

http://blog.crypti.me/v0-1-7-change-log/

Let us know what you think!  Grin

Congratulations on delivering both wallets. Hopefully there is no issues and we can move forward with the custom block chain developments..
But right now I'm very pleased and was a bit caught off guard that both would be released sooner than I expected.
Best regards,
Brian

Hey all

I've been away for a few days and came back to see the new temporary fix in action, and it is making a HUGE difference so far, especially with block-times. Previously the time between blocks would vary sporadically from anywhere between 1 and 4 minutes, now if you look at the blockchain, each block is hitting it's intended 60 second time consistently. I have yet to come across another network where block-times have been this consistent. Great work, Crypti Devs.

Proof :

thanks for the feedback and proof Smiley It's good to see things are working well with the temporary fix.
Regards,
Brian

Price is below IPO or not?  Huh Sad
ipo price was 800. no? i sold all stake at 1500 and wanted re-buy. but now i don't think so... maybe i'm wrong.

Dev run away? Huh
I don't think they ran away. You can see the escrow funds on the first post. Are they having some technical issues, yes I imagine so. It's not easy starting a project from scratch especially in crypto's. With that said I will be closely monitoring their progress..

Brian
