601  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - a new thin client on: April 26, 2012, 01:15:39 PM
electrum.bitcoins.sk node is not updating confirmations for me while program is open. I have to close it and open it again to get updates.

ecdsa.org node updates 1st and sometimes 2nd confirmation automatically and then it also stops.

Any idea?  I use flatfly's 0.43d build. I've tried tcp and http options.

+1 to Leandro César.

We've been trading for several months now without a single problem. Very professional and responsive.

Anyone who picks up your iPhone has access to your entire balance.
Use second password. (Account Details / Security on a web page)
605  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: April 22, 2012, 11:16:05 PM
My "Local Currency" keeps resetting from Euro to U.S. Dollar no matter what i do. Every other day or so, when i login on web or use mobile app... it will be reset to U.S. Dollar... Grrrrr : )

Also... i guess there should only be "can swap" or "can change" and "you" should be "your" and "by clicking" in this sentence:
You can change swap between BTC and you local currency at any time by click the green button below a transaction.

v1.9.2 is now available in the app store with full wallet functionality enabled.

Bravo! This is great news!

How did you manage to get full approval?

Interesting concept, but I don't really get how they want to solve the weighing problem
As far as i understand, everything is "percent" based. If you have more bitcoins, your likes, follows, etc will cost you more.

He explains how bitcoin is going to be used here:

608  Bitcoin / Project Development / Michael J. Trout - Open Startup project integrates Bitcoin on: April 18, 2012, 05:37:25 PM
I searched the forum and didn't find anything regarding this.

This project uses Bitcoin as a core element.

v1.9.3 works real nice!

One mini request if possible: i'd like to see whole bitcoin address inside "To:" field when sending bitcoins. Now it ends up with "...", but only few last characters are not seen... if rectangle would be a little bit wider, probably whole address could fit in.

Anyways, great work, thanks again!

Cheers!

Wow, that was fast! Thanks!

Regarding Logout: entering 10+ long password (with special characters, small and capital letters) into mobile is probably too much.
611  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: iPhone IOS Bitcoin wallet is here! (From Blockchain.info) on: April 17, 2012, 09:56:16 AM
I've got a feature request.  Some sort of PIN lock would be really nice for at least the settings page.  You can see the "Secret Phrase" without having to enter anything.
+1
That's my main reason why i don't use secret phrase at all.

Another thing that i am not comfortable with: if you scan "Device Pairing" QR code with normal QR reader, password is unveiled.

Thanks for the fixes!!!

It's designed for noobs, it want that form to be simple as possible.
The way you can change addresses inside iPhone app is very handy. And noobs-proof also : )

Where do you mean? On the two-factor authentication page?
I've sent myself several "email confirmation codes", because when i pasted the code, i clicked on "get code" button (or something like that - i don't have it anymore on my page since email is verified already (it was right next to form field where i pasted the code))
It took me a while before i realized that i have to click into empty space to confirm.

You can use blank space.
I can not. If i enter blank space i get this message: "Exception caught syncing wallet. Please contact the site administrator.".

Cheers!

Thanks, electrum.bitcoins.sk worked fine for me.

BTW: you'll have to change your signature soon... : )

Cheers!

Hi,

Blockchain wallet is getting better and better... with incredible speed... tnx man!

Few things that you might check out:

[www Wallet]:

* If i try to change "Local currency" from US Dollar to Euro... system kicks me out and i have to log in again. Setting is back to US Dollar.

* i didn't figure out how to choose different bitcoin addresses inside "request payment" option

* If i click on "Email Backup" to manually backup my wallet... i get an error. Automatic email backup works, though.

* after entering "Confirmation Code", you have to click into empty space somewhere inside the page to accept it... very non-intuitive. "Accept code" button would be much more convenient.

* I miss Logout button (it would give me peace of mind if I would see "you have successfully Logged out" message)

* It is not possible to erase "Secret Phrase". Once  you enter something in... system does not allow you to leave empty field after that. I believe this could be optional...

[iPhone app (v1.9.2)]:

* most of the times i have to click twice on every click-able item to get certain function working. App is non responsive to my actions (if i compare app's behavior to other apps)

* if i open my wallet and go straight to "Account details" (last icon), nothing happens (white empty screen). I have to select something else and then click back to "account details" button to get visible data

* "Account details" screen has different white color on top than the rest of the screen (different shades of white color)

* i find the speed of going from one screen to the other screen to slow.

Cheers!

Hey,

Yes, it's Electrum specific, I can connect to satoshi client or multibit without a problem.

Here is the pic:

Can you please tell me the name of other 2 servers? They are not listed inside my client anymore.

I tried to ping ecdsa.org web page... and i get 0% loss, so i guess i have no problem with connection.

Cheers!
616  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Minimal Electrum builds for Windows XP & 7 on: April 13, 2012, 09:27:41 AM
That would be great.

Another thing: lately i have problems with connecting to server with 0.43b.

Status bar just says "Connecting..." and if I click on Network icon, I get "No nodes available" for tcp, http and native option.
Also... when I click on "Find nodes", program gets unstable... sometimes it also breaks and I have to terminate it.

How do you manage to stay so collected while the "monster" is yelling at you constantly? : )

Bravo!
