Is there a DDOS attack now? Something is wrong and the lag time is huge.

Hi, It is working perfectly fine from my side.

I am just new on dice site and loving so much playing there.

No, the lag is incredibly large, I'm not sure what is going on at the moment.
Yep i don't know what's up but there is really HUGE lag!

1205  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you enjoy eating Shawarma? on: July 20, 2014, 06:49:05 PM
Didn't they used to smash grapes with their feet in wine making?

At least the only dirty Shawarma is presumably the stuff on the very top.   Cheesy
I bet that smell and bacteria will get burnt away till you buy it anyway.

Better that it's out in the open where newbies can clearly see what is going on, rather than hidden somewhere off-site. Use your sense when considering trading with others. Use established escrow to reduce the likelihood of being scammed. Certainly don't trust someone because they have a certain rank or post count (why this would make someone more trustworthy is beyond me anyway).

People who are really against this would do better to spend their time posting warnings in the newbie sub-forum rather than trying to stop it. Education > censorship.

This is a real warning and a helpful tip as regards to fake scums buying full member, snr. member accts tand get users ripped of their hard-earned money on the forum as a result of interest trust in people they believe to have so much feedback and trust rating on the forum. I really don't like this motion as the hero members should please go against this. Any newbie can just fall into the trap and lose his/her money. that's why I always use escrow and middlemen to trade.
As you've mentioned it that's purpose of escrow. Most of users use these bought accounts to parcipate in signature campaigns as sr member can currently earn 0.4btc per month by posting

Exactly, i think the one reason why people buying aside from scamming is the signature campaign.. because you can easily return your investment in 1-2 months..
specially if you buy the account cheaper...
But i feel that mostly intention was to scam. Cheesy lol
I've not seen any scam with trusted account in quite long time already, they are always newbies/members.

I've been mining on http://mining.bitcoin.cz/ so you may want to look there.
1209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 20, 2014, 06:24:19 PM
What if BTC stabilises here?

I'm just getting the feeling recently that all the Bull/Bear nonsense is based on the belief that BTC is a speculative instrument (or still in the speculative phase) and that may not be true.

Take Dell for instance and personalise it for understanding. Michael Dell is already rich beyond the dreams of Croesus - he's not taking BTC because he needs the money/fiat/crypto and he doesn't need to hodl to achieve some future dream of luxury.  It's an optional transactional medium for him to continue to accrue wealth - that is all.

As it gets easier to obtain, and easier to disburse the price is going to settle down as a matter of course. BTC has already become a global currency (it happened while we were not sleeping) and after all the excitement about China - and then then the come-down - we're all still holding coin with the most amazing utility.

That's what Big Trade is buying into - the utility, not the speculative opportunity, so I'm not expecting another "launch".  I'll be very surprised if we see $1000 again - there's no good reason for it at the transactional level.

There is NOT a large enough market cap to achieve multi-million dollar (or even billion dollar) transactions without causing some volatility; accordingly, the market cap has to increase in order to make bitcoin practical for these purposes.  Accordingly, since bitcoins have a limited supply and a limited production rate, the ONLY way to accomplish sufficient meaningful market cap is for BTC prices to go up (probably at least 100 times today's current prices).

In Sum, it is inevitable that BTC prices will go up, if it is going to serve large and/or institutional financial uses.
Consider the lost/forgotten/lost private keys coins also!

1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin de-Anonymity on: July 20, 2014, 06:10:39 PM
Any address can be tracked easily. But the owner of address is anonymous. At some extent it is still anonymous. We can generate as many addresses as we can to receive BTC instantly with no one knowing the owner.

Yeah that's part of the pseudonymous nature of BTC. One doesn't know for sure who's the owner of a specific address. But even if you figure that out, one can pretty easily just use another address and thus remain separate from the first one!
Using multiple adresses and shared sends and mixers does remove that.

could you give more info about this? are there some software for "shared sends and mixers" or i need to do it by myself?
Shared send is less anonymous and for mixing coins you can use bitmixer.io for example. These are both online and you don't need to install anything.

should I give stunna every month a trust rating ? Or just once?
Every month one positive from every user here would be too much?  I don't know the trust system very well.
Every month seems like too mutch, maybe only when you stop participating in it or every second month.
1215  Other / Archival / Re: remove on: July 20, 2014, 05:56:06 PM
So we can get these prizes (for example 0.02 of bitbandit) just if we will help promote bitcoin to some company?

"My actual ID is now temporarily banned... Hence I cant post/PM u." — we're not paying to any banned persons.

I dont see it is mentioned anywhere in the OP that u dont pay banned members. Moreover, from the post history, it is clear that he was banned after leaving your campaign. U have no right to deny payment of someone who got banned after leaving your campaign. Moreover, this member is in your campaign list. There is no proof that he changed sig when he was part of your campaign except for trusting your word. Rather, it is already proven that you are not trustworthy. It seems that u r simply taking advantage of someone's ban for not paying him.
If he was really banned after leaving the campaign then you should consider paying him!
