242  Economy / Speculation / Re: How hard will you try to sell your bags now? on: April 08, 2015, 06:21:05 PM
Like rich people would let their millions drop to zero, unheard of.

If a rich person a whale has huge amounts invested, they wont allow it to go in the constant reversal. They have loads of money to buy back significant price loss if they want bitcoin to work. Which most people do already.
But it would be more profitable to them to let it fall a little bit more but i think that 200 already is low enought and it's time to skyrocket.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thought we were having a stable time, what happened a few hours ago? on: April 08, 2015, 05:34:45 PM
it was 227 until yesterday basically, then a little pump(trap i would say) occur, those are whales that does a little pump to suck some fishes's money in to it, they try from time to time

everything sub 250 is a must buy right now, it won't fall much further
Yep my tip is that it won't go lower than 220 anymore, just higher and higher.
And bitcoin isn't so stable like you act it is so this isn't dump same as 5$ rise wouldn't be the pump.
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: How hard will you try to sell your bags now? on: April 08, 2015, 05:32:20 PM
I'm left holding the bag.  Cry

The bag of MONEY!!11!   Cheesy
Same here, hold the line and ignore the fudders.
These guys are real no lifers, probably bullied..

246  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S1 on: April 08, 2015, 04:57:21 PM
Hiya, not sure if this is the place to ask but i'm having a problem with connecting to the antminer web page, i can ping the ip address but can't access the interface.

help plz lol
Try finding the restart button somewhere on the motherboard of miner, be careful but now i'm not sure if it was problem with s1 s2 or s3 but if you find that button then it should help you solve the problem.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if YOU could put 1 feature, change, whatever, into the Bitcoin protocol? on: April 08, 2015, 04:54:45 PM
Imagine having a nice beer at a local bar and suddenly you realize that the guy next to you can't pay for his drink - he forgot his wallet. Since you are a nice person and made some money from investing in Bitcoin, you pay his tab.
It turns out, this guy is Bitcoin's very own core developer gmaxwell and because he is also such a nice guy, he offers you to implement one feature into the Bitcoin protocol - no questions asked.

What would you ask him to implement?

edit: sure, no one would be forced to use that fork. Just imagine that this is the only valid version of Bitcoin everyone using Bitcoin has to use form then on!
Isn't it simple? I'd make block that would premine me atleast million of coins hehe.

How would that work, so you would just get a specific number of coins after block X? That way the value of all coins would go down a lot, I don't know if you could profit from that very much...
Hah bitcoin is open source so nobody would be able to do that as source would be inspected for sure before hard fork.
But if i could mask it then let's say 0.2btc from every block mined would be enought.
But if someone would notice it in early stages you would end up with nothing, but if you would insert bigger reward for yourself you would  more likely beable to get more fiat out of it.
248  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best BTC<->USD sites? on: April 08, 2015, 04:51:14 PM
What about Kraken?  Can they do bank drafts?
As far as i know they only do wired transfers.
What about trying localbitcoins.com

250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have any bots started collecting Bitcoin on: April 08, 2015, 04:43:52 PM
Bitcoin is only collected by bots.

Unless you can do ECDSA math and SHA256 hashing in your head that is.  Oh and also produce IP packets by hand.
Also bring the packets to pools and cooperate with other soulutions Tongue
But it's defined as mining and not as collecting.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: Traditional Banks and Bitcoin on: April 08, 2015, 04:34:29 PM
Why do you think banks like UBS and BNY Mellon are experimenting with bitcoin.

a. They are interested with bitcoin and want to integrate with it

b. They want to crash bitcoin thats why theyre doing background check

c. They want to make their own digital currency

d. What do you think?
What i think? Based on facts i think that they are against bitcoin as they have halted multiple bitcoin trades or better said they have frozen the accounts and bit bitcoin trades are automaticaly suspicious to them.

254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PAYCOIN IS OFFICIALLY DEAD on: April 08, 2015, 03:45:49 PM
Well i meant it's dead in sort of future price etc i know they will try to get out as mutch money from their victims as they will be able to.
Just like i wrote in last sentence.

A disaster , yes.. but you guys have extremely odd definitions of "dead".

Based upon the code and design it was a stillbirth zombie from birth with almost no chance of success.
Zombies are also called alive dead practicaly.
Howgh.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PAYCOIN IS OFFICIALLY DEAD on: April 08, 2015, 03:42:11 PM
Who does spread lies? The only thing is that it's dead. Yep they will probably continue till last drop of finnance will drop out of their customers.

How is it remotely dead? Homero is alive and free. The coin is still trading at 36 cents. There is an active community of diehard brainwashed users who want to continue to support this coin. Josh wants to continue this failed project out of hubris, naivete, or just to extract more from his victims. If Josh is locked up there is a good possibility that TeamXPY will continue this botched project.

Not even close to being dead ... will likely continue to slowly capitulate due to hyper inflation and less and less users.... but I can almost guarantee that due to the mindset of some of paycoin2 advocates will continue for at least another year and possibly much longer. Not all those accounts are shills... some are very real investors victims who are committed to this project.

256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PAYCOIN IS OFFICIALLY DEAD on: April 08, 2015, 03:33:06 PM
Stop spreading lies... this scam is very much alive and will likely continue with or without Homero behind bars.

257  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Buttercoin on: April 08, 2015, 03:10:44 PM
Next time they should pick a butter name.

+ who the fuck spends 1.4million in 4 months, of course, if they didnt spend it at all  Tongue
First of all i never heard about this coin.
2nd is that it's REALLY stupid name  for a coin and 3rd one that you're mentioning is bullshit told by them to us...atleast in my eyes.

THANK YOU for proving my POINT ahhahahahahahah. You ready? Are you sure? IT IS NOT A COIN, BUT AN EXCHANGE. So how stupid can they be idk.

well, when you read nothing and just post you get that result  Tongue
I'm on my smartphone so i only assumed and i anyway never heard about such exchange and i'm not alone here so..
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoinity's wild spread: 245 <--> 285 (software bug) on: April 08, 2015, 03:07:20 PM
Is it really slow or are you just surprised not to see some trades at all? It's a feature that they do filter small trades below a certain value or combine them into one "trade" when reporting them.

They're using HTML5 canvas which is kind of laggy. It's usable but perhaps their FPS limit should be higher or something.

Well for me it works pretty well. Not dragging down the CPU performance or anything, There just isn't happening as much as on Bitcoinwisdom and others. Also, their last price position needs to update quicker on timeframe-changes.
Yep their site is updating too slow that's why i'm using bitcoinwisdom as it's almost realtime.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic kicking in, sub 200 by friday on: April 08, 2015, 03:02:08 PM
Honest question (I'm thinking a lot about this lately): Do you guys think that the outpour of negative and bearish posts here (and other places) really causes the price to go even lower, resulting in cheaper coins for those people?

I think it would have very little effect, and even if it did then more likely the opposite of what you're querying.  Crowd herding doesn't fulfill the requirements of Crowd Intelligence, since in this instance the same information is available to all, and people are comparing notes.  If it were a blind poll of a diverse group of peoples skills/lack of, with requisite variety, then perhaps you could aggregate the results and find some meaning, but not like this.  It takes most people to be wrong for a few to be very successful.

Well I think it could actually be possible to cause panic or a feeling of uneasiness in people. I, myself, feel pretty uneasy when I read about long-term members raising scepticism. I haven't acted on this in ages, but I think it is possible to cause a panic. I remain sceptical about the practical usefulness of this, though.
Well, this user's intention seems to be to spread fud and panic, i just checked his previous posts and i suggest you to do the same...
You will sure also notice that ignore button under his name then Wink

Yeah, but there's a difference between continuing to spread FUD and voicing honest concerns and reasonable doubts about the Bitcoin ecosystem/technology in general.
Did you do what i did or are you just assuming cuz of this post? I checked few pages of his posts and there were no positive posts about bitcoin, only the negative ones.
Some people are even paid for doing this Wink
