Thanks for the explanation, it is interesting but there does not seem to be enough or clear incentives to exchange ETH for tokens. By the amount of ETH sent to the DAO one would assume that people expect the tokens to have a higher value than ETH. I have a couple of questions: AFTER the 28 days is the ETH sent back automatically or do I have to do a solo split? If I do a DAO split will I still have "representative reward tokens"? What are "representative reward tokens? What advantages have real tokens vs ·representative reward tokens. Whether his dick is that big or not, it seems likely that he has either been using the large super computer to attempt to crack private keys (and Satoshi's specifically) or to engage in other scams to make appearances and maybe to swindle and or blackmail folks. Potentially, he could have made decent money on this latest announcement; however, it may not have worked out so well, if the market did not drop as much as he (they) were hoping. I am not really into attributing malevolence to people, but this guy is really building a case for himself - accordingly, he doesn't sound like a very well-intended dude. lol everything u said on wright for past few days...i agree, his intentions seem bad for btc, instead of coming out as wright saying im satoshi, what shouldve happened was, satoshi to say he is wright..it never happened so wright is wrong,lol |

Gavin prefaced the panel during his introduction by saying that he wasn't hacked and that he does believe Craig, and that he would answer questions during the Q&A afterwards. The panel included Vitalik, who sat to his right.
During the Q&A, no one asked Gavin any questions, so Gavin decided to talk about the Craig/Satoshi news himself. He gave his 1-minute reasoning why he is convinced that Craig is Satoshi, because he signed a text that he (Gavin) chose, and verified it himself.
It seemed like the crowd was going to accept that, and the session was going to end, but then Vitalik just started taking, and said he'd give his reasoning on why he thinks Craig isn't Satoshi.
He said, Craig has 2 ways to prove himself. The first, and easiest/simplest, being to just sign a unique message and post it publicly so everyone can verify it. The second would be to post some long blog post (that was arguably more complicated to understand than actually verifying some signed text) and only ask a select few to choose a message, show the signature to, and ask to verify. Vitalik then says that this fails basic signaling theory, and thus Craig is not Satoshi. Gavin twerked his head and nodded as if to say, "I see you point. Meh."
The panel session ended right there. The crowd laughed. I laughed. Vitalik laughed. There moderator laughed. The crowd laughed some more. Gavin seemed uncomfortable.
