I also know Java, PHP, MySQL etc and was working mainly on bot stuff so far.

I released some API implementations

https://github.com/ReAzem/cryptocoin-tradelib/tree/master/modules

and would be interested to work on an improved API.

I think most APIs lack some essential methods, like computing the fees for a order, return the supported currency pairs etc.

Would be nice to implement a better API as a reference for other exchanges.

Wouldn't it be better to use a mobile plattform? Just to avoid any single point of failure?

What will be your target plattform? J2SE or Android?

I wondered if this script could be used to visualize trades in a phonegap app?

If you organize a meeting of buyer and seller, why not add a 3rd person (or more) as a eyewhitness of the trade?

Use smartphone with GPS functionality to locate users. No central website.
526  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on programming with COMMON LISP,SCHEME? on: June 29, 2013, 04:47:20 PM
I use drools for ai and java for the rest.

But I also use scheme and lisp a few years ago.

Let me know, if you are interested in a collab. I already have most of the code for the exchange APIs etc.

Also eine existierende Software, die Du nicht kennst?

Ich hab ne Lib geschrieben, die sowas macht:

https://github.com/ReAzem/cryptocoin-tradelib

Damit verbind ich meine Trading-Software mit btc-e:

Zu einer unbekannten Software kann man aber halt schlecht was sagen...

528  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on programming with COMMON LISP,SCHEME? on: June 29, 2013, 04:03:50 PM
I like scheme and lisp a lot, but I wouldn't use it for for mining.

I think, you could do cool trading stuff, though. Maybe use a java trading lib and jscheme for the trading code.
529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ATP [Advanced Trading Platform] on: June 26, 2013, 07:13:20 PM
Yup...

Replace xchange with another API implementation and add the code there.

I could add an order type for market orders, but my code doesn't use this feature yet...
530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ATP [Advanced Trading Platform] on: June 26, 2013, 11:46:56 AM
hmmh...why not handle market order at the API implementation level? If the implementation grabs the current price and then places an order at that price?
531  Economy / Services / Re: PROFITS - ATPx [Automated Trading Platform eXtended] on: June 25, 2013, 04:17:46 PM
I got my own code and just released the API implementations so far:

Deshalb brauchen wir ja p2p Exchanges, so dass wir keine zentralen Websites mehr haben, die man lahmlegen kann. Und mehr Geschäfte a la localbitcoins, wo die User keine Bank benutzen, so dass man auch diesen Weg nicht mehr blockieren kann.

Bitcoin Foundation mahnt Kalifornien wegen Dollar-Handel ohne Genehmigung ab...    Cheesy

I was scared to click it

Just a screenshot of my bot at work...it won't take over your computer, or so...

@monsterer: got my pm?
537  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Developing an exchange - business advice required on: June 23, 2013, 07:01:27 PM
Hmmh...I know someone in a country with less strict regulations. Maybe it would be smart to partner with such a person...

btceic: ms connection times require a private net? And if the sources are open, how do you keep your competition from using them to start a similar exchange?

monsterer: I have a similar problem, but I work on trading software. I released a part of it as opensource, but I don't have a good overall solution yet...
539  Economy / Services / Re: I have an idea for a new bitcoin startup that I think can revolutionize the way on: June 23, 2013, 06:44:16 PM
Take a look at phonegap. One codebase for iphone and android. Maybe even for the website.
540  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Developing an exchange - business advice required on: June 23, 2013, 06:09:47 PM
Where are you living? What are the regulations in your country?
