I only did btc-e => gox to try it. It took about 1 hr and worked so far. In theory the usd could return to btc-e, when the rates are closer (even with a small loss).

But I agree, that arb on 1 exchange is a lot easier. That's why I focussed on btc-e alone mainly so far.

I thought it might be feasable to use services like okpay (or a similar service) and automate those transfers? Or you could just monitor rates and transfer coins back and forth.

Did you ever look Jay's Leno's garage on youtube? He once had a Countach as a daily driver...a Countach!!! But then...he's Jay Leno!!!

I wholeheartly agree with your comment on java vs python...that's why I still use java, even if the folks at IRC greet me with 'java must die'... Smiley

I don't really understand, why the scripting framework needs sockets, since I thought, your framework connects to the exchange? But don't get confused by my silly comments and keep rocking the trading world with java!!! *thumbs_up*

Ciao,
Andreas

Wasn't there a java scripting framework back in the days?
547  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC App on: June 20, 2013, 09:56:11 PM
Phonegap with jquery mobile is nice. I can give you some sources and help you to get started, if you are interested.
I use java for my other trading stuff, since I am a linux user.

That's why I use a single OrderBook in my code to send orders to exchanges.

Ok. Great!

What language are you using?

I played a bit with javascript:

551  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ANN] Looks like cryptsy is adding an API on: June 20, 2013, 01:33:04 PM
Any java coders using this exchange?

Interested in an API implementation?
552  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-E Nonce Generation on: June 20, 2013, 01:30:20 PM
Did you try my sources yet? I think, they still work, so you'd just add some debug output to see the data, that it sends to the server?
553  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ANN] Looks like cryptsy is adding an API on: June 13, 2013, 04:27:21 PM
Add a method to calculate the fee for a given order.

And a method to return the supported currency pairs.

I could support your exchange in my lib.
554  Local / Treffen / Re: Bitcoin-Stammtisch in Kaiserslautern on: June 13, 2013, 12:01:59 PM

But I think the Gallardo was the first Lambo, that was developed with Audi. The older ones are pure Lambo...

Ist also kein Geheimnis ...

Sad

Ciao,
Andreas
