GPU mining is dead. Get an ASIC or mine another alt.

The only thing that sucks about coinbase is how long you have to wait.
And that it's only for US citizens.
7705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When I mine is it better to mine Namecoin or Litecoin as the other coin I mine? on: June 22, 2013, 05:32:53 PM
Litecoin. It's currently raising in value so fi you hurry you might jump in the train.

How big is your smallest output?

The was processed early this morning, taking slightly more than 3 days. Now I know to always include a miner's fee. The smallest output was less than 5 BTC.
Then everything's okay?

Namecoin is good
It doesn't seem to be good in a lot in value though.
7709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling BTC for PPUSD on: June 22, 2013, 03:27:09 PM
I don't recommend doing that. Once you sent the BTC he can dispute the payment and take it back.

I used to mine at Coinotron. Seems like a good pool.
7712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone know of a way to mine with 3 BFL ASIC singles on a tablet or small phone? on: June 22, 2013, 03:00:30 PM
A raspberry pi is kind of like a small phone... Try MinePeon?
Yeah I think it's probably the best if not the best options (raspberry pi)

Pity there aren't trust ratings for coins or companies.

I'd love to see Ripple's trust rating, or BFL's.
I think the Ripple creator has an account here.

Who cares? People have been making bullets at home for hundreds of years.

I'll be interested when we can print gunpowder.

7718  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Dropbox a safe place keep my TrueCrypted BTC wallet backup? on: June 22, 2013, 12:47:35 PM
Truecrypt? LOL ... it can be cracked in no time with some Radeon GPUs:

Seems like a shitty encryption if it's that easy.

Quote
PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA512 / AES: 95 kHash/s

Yeah.. it's gonna take 72 years to crack a 8 letter alphanumeric password.
Then it's not so shitty after all, is it? I'm a noob in encryption, anyone got any counter arguments?
