7801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The worst part about this forum on: June 20, 2013, 12:46:06 PM
is that I can only execute a search every 6 minutes from my IP address.

yes 6mins to stop spamming.
That's weird. Maybe the restrictions are bigger for newbies than full members.
7802  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will happen when Bitcoin runs out of addresses? on: June 20, 2013, 12:42:23 PM
Combination of possible addresses is immense thus, as mentioned earlier, the possiblity of that whole amount being taken by someone else is pretty impossible at this time.

Hello and welcome. May you achieve success in your pursuits if they are fair and honorable.

Hi there and welcome. Wish you'll have a good time here.

I'm kind of crapping my pants right now even though I don't live in the US. I wonder whether they can touch me in any way.

I hope I had that address ahahaha Smiley
Me too!  Cool Any BTC sent there will be locked forever!
Isn't that address valid, just probably the hardest of any to get?
It's valid but I doubt anyone will ever find the private key to get a Hash160 of 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000
You never know. Tech progresses faster than most of us notice.
True, but if that address can be figured out then any other one can too. And if that is the case, Bitcoin is screwed. If we ever get the technology to hack addresses, we will have to update the encryption used in Bitcoin.
I think it wouldn't matter. Bitcoin would crash down before that happens.
7809  Other / Off-topic / Re: Found BTCs? on: June 19, 2013, 11:57:24 AM
Bitcoin guy with a conscience.
You double posted. Also this whole story seems unlikely. People don't usually leave lots of bitcoins, that are worth a LOT of cold hard cash, lying around.

7814  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Multibit wallet problem on: June 19, 2013, 11:24:13 AM
Maybe try installing bitcoinqt and importing the keys there or use an online trusted wallet provider and import the keys (use this only as the last measure)

This seems shady. I reccommend posting when you have the product done because not many people believe in statements with nothing backing them.

Try searching for 'multibit doesn't synchronise' in these forums. I think the problem has already been solved by someone.
