Looks like the DDOS (or a variant of it) is back again.
Probably. It looks as if some people hate the whole world.
7327  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Official Monumental Assholes Thread on: June 26, 2013, 11:27:16 AM
While the official Monumental Asshole badge is being designed, use this one:
The badge will be a crypto-badge with its own block chain, right?  That of course means we would need some assholes to mine the badges.  I mean people have to work for their badges, you can't just pull them out of ... wherever.

So, what you're saying is that my idea of diving for them, like for apples, is a bad idea?

That picture is disturbing in so many ways...
7328  Other / Off-topic / Re: NewbCoin Bitcoin Faucet Selling Advertising Space on: June 26, 2013, 11:26:32 AM
At least you're being honest Cheesy lol

Yeah, but also sending the 6k satoshi to every person that submits their address will make me broke lol.
Try 5.5k satoshi.  Grin

i think that qualifies as "spamming the blockchain"

ps: sneak peaks ofnewb2.0

Edit: I see Aosana already switched over to the new design.
No, spamming is 5430 satoshi of bellow. 5500 is already past the limit.

But you can't spam because the limit IS 5430 satoshi, you can't send lower unless its to like one person.
That's what I said. Sending an output or outputs that are or is 5500 satoshi isn't spamming because the minimum output in a transaction is 5430 and 5500>5430

Ahh, well my faucet gives 1k satoshi a submission so in order to pass the dust limit you had to visit 6 times anyway. Why not give the full 6k Tongue
I guess so... How did you get yout faucet popular, if that's not secret.

I think its just the layout and the name of the site. Newb attracts audience who are new to the game, Bitcoin, and the websites layout feels very, welcoming if I may say so. Also there aren't that many faucets around so if you were to make one now I'm sure you could catch up with the game.
Well I have a noobish one and it's getting a couple of dozens of visitors per day but as I'm not experienced in programming, I can't develop such site like you did.

you get to be a part of a secret club who get to have as much of the 3Bs as they want - Bimbos, Booze and Bitcoins
So what's the website of the club. You got me intrigued...  Grin

Anyone else doing this course (Crypto I)?  Enjoying it so far and definitely learning a lot.
Not really. I'm trying to enjoy my summer without all that constant thinking about complex problems.
7331  Other / Off-topic / Re: Religious beliefs on bitcoin on: June 26, 2013, 11:23:46 AM
Sometimes it requires firm believer to hold on to BTC. In a sense, BTC could be a religion in a digital age.
And that's how a new sect is born.

Two more days plus >2 hours.

Be there, or be square!
That's probably what will happen:

7333  Other / Off-topic / Re: Two people missing at BFL! Last seen last year. on: June 26, 2013, 11:20:58 AM
John Wayne Gacy IS BFL?!

Pretty close! Two people missing, and they've yet to provide a statement. Rumor has it that at least one person at BFL has been donning clownware.

Lol. Good one.  Cheesy
7334  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ever want to end it all? on: June 26, 2013, 11:20:34 AM
Also everyone is assuming I am asking for money but where have I posted an address? Not sure if many people can see that, but a beggar begs with his hand out to place money.
Well you do have a paid raffle signature so some people (not me) might assume the thing you mentioned.
7335  Other / Off-topic / Re: Apple Sucks! Arrg, why don't programs work on my old mac? on: June 26, 2013, 11:19:50 AM
Never went to Apple, never will. Unless a sudden death of my gaming career.  Cheesy
7336  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your favourite sport out of these? on: June 26, 2013, 11:19:04 AM
Why are you only listing girl sports?  Huh
Is soccer, basketball or american football a girl sport? What is a man's sport then?

Weight Lifting, MMA, Rugby.  Smiley

Also Vampire Hunting. But not the sparkly new-types. That's a girl sport.
What did you say?

That's no longer a girl, at least not physiologically. No, really, I'm not joking. Measure the hormone levels, see what I mean.

Also anatomically no longer a girl... and I don't mean the parts you can see. There's things hidden beneath that there bikini bottoms, you REALLY don't want to know about. Let's just say with the right hormone cocktail it's possible to make things grow that nature did not intend to grow, at least in girls.
So she's a he?  Huh

7340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Vs Ripple on: June 26, 2013, 11:15:26 AM
Ripple is 100% premined and if you do a Google, the investments from Google is very very tiny so I doubt Google is really going to be behind Ripple.
Ripple isn't even mined. It's issued by OpenCoin.
