https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/966This my friends is what power lust looks like. Mr. Luke Jr. wants your location easily traceable when using Bitcoins. He wants you to fear the powers that be when you deal in Bitcoins. Bitcoin users could then be controlled. Let's keep a watchful eye on people like Mr. Luke and their proposals. With no vigilance, stuff like this could be merged.

Whenever a block is received, log the sender's IP and the current time
Go fuck yourself, Luke. I know you proposed this crud.

>only $88,000 in savings on average
It's amazing what inflation does.

Most Baby Boomers have no reason to like Bitcoins. They spent their entire lives paying taxes, they are or are currently paying out huge college loans for their children and now they are ready to collect their social security.
They've served the system and they are not getting the time served back. They have no reason to want a change nor see a change in our monetary system. They just want their government entitlements and their retirement to pay out.
A monetary revolution gives no benefit towards that end. They don't want Bitcoins. They want you young people to get back to work so, again, their social security can pay out.
They depend on the system and nothing short of total collapse is going to break that dependence.
Bitcoins are for young people born into a society turned against them. The old have already had their spirits broken.

Circle jerk is circle jerk. I don't know what this 'Con' was supposed to accomplish. I am glad everyone got to meet though, I love meeting internet people and making sure they're not robot assassins.
Next time someone in the community wants to organize some kind of conferences or conventions, stop pretending doing it alone is somehow better. The wheel already exists. Use other people in the community. Flying by on the heels of "novelty" doesn't work anymore, we've already proven that most of the these conferences and such could just be held online with a conference call streamed etc.
A+ for effort though.
F- for Atlas/Boss/Immanuel Go/Ragnar/Jon never keeping his word on anything.
If I had a car, I would of come. ;_; I wasn't ballsy enough to take the van and cite common law as my driver's license.

It appears the problem only was a <br> tag. The script didn't like that it wasn't closed. ._.

|

Yeah, I tried modifying some of the scripts myself. Considering I am just learning Perl, that was bound to lead to a bug. It should be fixed, mostly, now. Tell me if otherwise.
Thanks!
well, that particular URL still fails. it's linked to from Online Bitcoin Wallets (3) from the main page. Deleted thread. No thread, no problem. Feel free to repost it. "Are there any secure online wallets besides blockchain.info?"

The domain has now propagated. Yay!

I'm just shocked Bitcoin is becoming mainstream.

/g/ is a different beast. I discovered Bitcoin on there in late 2009. This is the most attentiveness we have seen from /b/ in awhile.

Could this mean we have an accessibility problem and not a lack-of-marketing problem?

Haha, this guy still believes in "basic human rights". He still believes in an objective morality.
We're dealing with a faith-based zealot here.
