Asinine tangents, bitchy attitude, and a lot of mouth. Leave it to an asian to miss the fucking point and think spouting nonsense is a valid counter argument.

You missed almost every single point he was making. He was calling out muslim hypocrisy, none of which you addressed, and instead tried to deflect and shift blame in the most pathetic slimmest of tangents.

Answer the actual question, slanty eyes.

What's with the racism? If you have nothing to add to a thread besides racial slurs probably better not to post at all.

Racial slurs that aren't even relevant to the discussion!

were both have exchanged racially charged blows. Some might call being selective in your responses as discriminatory.

Can you show where I have demonstrated a "racially charged blow"?

I stand correct good Sir. You are correct to chastise that person as the initiate of 'racially charged slurs".

Please accept my apologies.

I was thrown by your response as, aside from his racial slurs, I agreed with his conclusion that it looked like the original responder was 'dodging' my question by going of on a tangent.

P.S. upon re-reading your posts, you are a very constructive commentator.

I would agree however one should not single out only one side of a two party fight were both have exchanged racially charged blows. Some might call being selective in your responses as discriminatory. Please chastise both parties or none.

I find the single sided response to be ironic given this same issue is what is plaguing Islam's public image. A one sided view all about self above others.

A balanced view point is key to understanding the situation and therefore diffusing an issue before 'heads roll'.

The racism like rant, all of one sentence was a direct response to previous responses by that same poster. He then went on to be quite constructive in his discussion so please be contextual in your responses..

Please be mindful of how you respond as you some may see your selective responses as barely restrained / emotional which is the situation this thread is trying to avoid.

Have a nice day.

Given this was originally an open forum invite, please help me to understand your viewpoints by answering the following;

1. Why is it acceptable for Muslims to demand freedom of religion, that being to practice Islam, in any country they want without fear of repercussions yet those same tolerances are not extended into Islamic countries?

2. Why are Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, etc either imprisoned or killed in Islamic countries for practising their religion in Islamic countries?

3. Why do Muslims not defend themselves against radical Muslims?

4. Why do Muslims not defend the rights of practice of other religions as they expect for their own?

I ask these questions in an open nature with no intent to slur anyone and I will openly admit to being a practising Christian.

Regards,

Cranky

Bump - my questions have been overlooked...perhaps because they ask to hard a question?

1) No religious group should ever have to "demand" freedom of religion. The freedom to practice your religion is a constitutional right. Also, your logic is pretty fallacious. You imply that it is unacceptable for Muslims to demand freedom of religion when other countries don't have it. That's like saying Korean-American US citizens shouldn't be allowed to use the internet because the internet is banned in Korea.

3) They do, it's just that our media does not like to portray them doing it because they make an earning out of negativity.
http://rt.com/news/186460-french-muslims-christians-isis/

4) I've never heard of a Muslim here in America violating the rights of other religions

Oh, you openly admit to being a practicing Christian? Ever heard of Uganda? They're not exactly your idea of "tolerance" or "acceptability", and they claim to being a Christian nation, with a "Kill the Gays" bill. Does this have anything to do with you? Nope, just like it has absolutely nothing to do with Christians in America.

Hello Awesome,
I am glad you have chosen to discuss these questions however I do hope you can remain on track. The forum opened on a global context and I hope to retain that viewpoint for all when I provide some responses to yourself, and I do hope you engage logically rather than emotionally.

Your points;
1. I agree that no religious group should have to demand freedom to practise their religion so I ask, on a global stage, why do Muslims demand those rights in the west and are granted yet any other religion in any Islamic country would face imprisonment or death for a similar request? Why do Muslims feel this is justified?

3. It is well undertsood amongst non-muslim religions, that to send a missionary into a Muslim country courts potential death. When one person states a wriong doing and they have two or more witnesses, what does the old testament say (common to Jews, Christians and Muslims) in Deuteronomy 19:15? The world sees time and time again, valid charges of wrong doing by Muslim countries yet you find this acceptable because you feel the media is deceiving you. Look beyond your mainstream NBC and find the truth or does it scare you?

4. If no muslim has violated a religious freedom in the US then congratulations and I hope it continues. How do you feel about all the global violations being portrayed, as per the intent of my original question? For me, it is another reason to dis-like Islam.

Regards,

Cranky

Given this forum was opened by 'airpline1', I was rather hoping that person would answer my questions in a straight forward manner using a global context.

227  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Energy efficiency. on: September 10, 2014, 10:35:27 AM
PoS just requires coins in a wallet thereby allowing the owner to acquire 'interest' but without giving back to the network through either blocksolving or acting as a node.

PoW requires the user to at least act as a node whilst being rewarded for servicing the blockchain.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep your bitcoins secure if you suddenly disappear (jail or prison) on: September 10, 2014, 03:06:45 AM
Tattoo your wallet passphrase and private keys on the inside of you anus.

I know, it is a tough tattoo but were else is tit gonna be secure whilst your in prison? You know you ass is gonna be searched time and time again, probably by your cell mate Bubba, so why not hide it in plain sight...

Have you had any "donations" yet? Honestly, I think it's ridiculous to ask for free miners.  Even the gpus I had that were worthless for mining got a decent sum on ebay, presumably by people with free or cheaper electricity.  You should be offering a small sum for the miners OP.
Absolutely agree.

This is glorified begging behind a veil of renewable energy and environmental concern.

For all we know you live in Iceland and are selling them on ebay straight away.

You should consider giving 50% of any mining revenue back to the person who sent it to you, which would seem a fairer deal.

That's exactly what I thought: He provides an Australian mailing address, but the Post Office knows that it's to be shipped to Iceland. Great scam!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It is not a scam ya twat! If you need some references, I am happy to provide them starting with the last R-box I purchased a few months ago from someone on this site - CanaryInTheMine can validate my postal address as central Victoria, Australia PLUS biodieselchris can validate the solar array as I have supplied GRCoin pics

I am happy to BTC for P&H, I don't expect people to be out of pocket.

Maybe I should edit / add that to 1st comment
232  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo Mining with old outdated equipment? on: September 09, 2014, 12:20:02 AM
I solo mine using old equipment but only on fresh alt-coins. Normally I snag a heap of blocks and trade for BTC/LTC early.

I have a 1.5kW solar panel system, a Jally (for SHA-256) and an R9-280X (for scrypt) that was funded by early BTC profits. They only run a few hours a day, basically in the background whilst I do paperwork.

I make a between AU$100~AU$250 a month doing this.

If you feel guilty keeping the coins, feel free to unburden yourself by forwarding all of the devil's spawn to the following wallet were they will be cleansed for their perplexing behaviour towards you.

Heat a tropical fishtank by installing water cooling blocks on the ASIC and use the fish tank as the reservoir.
237  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What can I use Bitcoin miners for other than mining? on: September 03, 2014, 12:13:19 AM
I use my obsolete miners as dust collectors. I live in the desert so they'll soon be virtually invisible. Maybe thousands of years from now some archaeologist will uncover them and wonder what the hell they were for.

If they are sitting around as dust collectors, would you consider 'donating' them to a renewable energy based mining system? I put my initial 1st round of BTC profits into a 1.5kW solar array, based in central Victoria - Australia. I now use the array to churn the blockchain with old gear...

Hero subs in the CBD accept BTC via smartphone with CoinJar as the middleman.

http://herosubs.com.au/locations/

Locations are;
Chadstone shopping centre
357 Collins St, CBD
28 Harware Ln, CBD

Also go to www.coinjar.com.au and look up their merchant support list to find others.

P.S. 'Hungry' is a noun and you're trying to say you are the country Hungry. You mean 'hungry' the verb, note no capital H.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Drip feed of the blockchain - is it possible? on: September 02, 2014, 02:11:01 AM
This is alt-coin based question but is a technical question that harks back to the very core of Bitcoin architecture so you indulgence is appreciated.

I have been monitoring an alt-coin since inception, to protect the innocent we shall call it coinX (original *smurks to self*), and I have not had a problem maintaining a wallet for solo mining purposes. The coinX is a very low profile coin which is trying to encourage CPU mining only, so being a bit of a renegade, I uncovered the algo and began solo mining it. After a few days, my wallet is now always about 300 blocks behind. This appears to be a wide spread issue amongst the nodes, ~300 blocks behind, aside from 3 core nodes which I believe may be the developers upon which they are solo mining - effectively sucking up the coins.

So my tech question is - can a blockchain have a 'master node or nodes' which distribute a delayed version of the blockchain in order to discourage solo mining?

P.S. This is a re-launched coin and a similar series of events happened the first time round.

P.S.S. I have moved the blockchain in order to restart the bootstrapping from the master nodes. Yes it does refresh the blockchain but stops short by about 300 blocks.

I reside in Australia and have a 1.5kW grid connect system plus another 400W off grid (for technical reasons to do with the power companies).

I am not begging for miners to make cash, as an Engineer I would prefer to see the equipment still hashing rather than collecting dust. As for re-purposing gear, I am always tearing down old PCs, rebuilding and giving them away to those in need or do free repairs to PCs & laptops. The intent of the rebuilds is not to produce world winning gaming machines on the cheap, most of the time they barely scrape together as a linux based media centre, but they do make decent home PC for those whom cannot afford a machine.

As for the mining revenue, I do not expect to make anything more than a handful of satoshi's when on a pool. It is more about using otherwise dead machines to assist with securing the networks or I could prop up a dying coin if asked too.
