After 9 months mining, I fried a 6770 and 2 * PSUs. The 6770 has no physical signs however when mining it was reporting sick/dead after 10~20minutes for about 3 weeks. The PSU blew so I replaced it then it blew too so I ripped out the sick 6770, added a new PSU and things have booted up OK except for....I can no longer mine!
Upon starting up CGMiner reports that a card is already overtemp yet I am monitoring the card temp using a 3rd party which has it as 40ish degrees C when idling.
Ideas on how to fix...?

Congrats fellow Aussie, I am sooooo jealous.
I discovered BTC in mid 2012 yet still hope to continue this wild ride with similair results over the next few years. What do you think BTCs will rise to in the next 12 months given the EU meltdown?

There appears to be enough interest to take this to the next level.
I will get back to the boards shortly with BTC per Watt for both stand alone or grid connect kits for self installation.
Given prices for elec in Aus are typically ~30cents kWh, there should be some interest for self installs.

I am currently trying to gauge market interest levels in solar / wind systems (componenets / kits) with payment by BTC / LTC and solely online.
If such a service was offered, predominaetly in Australia to start with, would many people be interested?
Please leave your 2 bobs worth via a reply.

Looking to buy a 180W or better solar panel for BTC. Mounting racks not necessary but a bonus if you have them. 2nd hand is good to go too.
I only need 1 panel but if you have more then lets chat.
I am in central Vic, Aus and prepared to drive up to 250km to pick up i.e. Melbourne

shipping ..HOLY CRAP! US$75 to ship a hard drive from US to Australia
SHould be $10...this store wont fly if the quoting for shipping is not fixed
Plus
$1400 for a stock standard AMD processor...I think the shop is setting their prices by BTC and letting the $$$ figure float with hte exchange rate..it should be otherway around..set the price in $$$ and float the BTC according to exchange rate

checking it out...and never heard of them before but if they are selling decent stuff at reasonable prices for BTC than I have a new best store

220W panel + 300W turbine into 24VDC dual car battery bank and back out via a 200W UPS for consumption by a 90W laptop and several FPGAs (soon to be ASICs). Break even on the panel & turbine in 3 months. UPS from ebay for $2 (2nd hand). FPGA / ASICs <6 mths to break even. All up, after <9 mths it owes you nothing and just gives cash
