On the link above you'll also find instructions to run the miner, benchmark your computer, etc.

Please note that this is our first release, CUDA supported release will be available in the following days!

Of course, special thanks goes to the z.cash community and Tromp for the solvers!

p.s.: please note that NiceHash is running on testnet hashing power orders and will switch to mainnet orders after the launch on October 28th.

Thanks for sharing. It's working great

352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: PASCAL COIN + ACCOUNT TRADING THREAD on: October 20, 2016, 04:49:32 PM
No one has posted in a while, but I am willing to buy coins if anyone wants to sell some for .00001 BTC per Pascal if anyone wants to offer to buy for more feel free. That's what I am currently offering to buy at.
I think you put an extra 0 by accident. Lol. Hope nobody is desperate enough to sell that low. That's almost less than the cost to mine it.

That's the value to me with GPU mining out. When it was CPU only I was buying at .00003 BTC per Pascal. Now it's cheaper to mine with GPUs so it worth less to me right now. Others can make better offers if they want, but my offer is going to be .00001 BTC per Pascal for the foreseeable future.

How is it cheaper to mine if it costs a MUCH higher cost of entry than just mining it on a good CPU?

Before the GPU miner was released a quad core i5, got about 4-8blocks per day. Almost no entry cost as people put it on their PC's and spare systems.
After the GPU miner release it now needs at least one GTX 1070/1080 to even HOPE to get so many blocks per day. With an entry point of $450-700 EXTRA, not even considering Power supply / cooling, etc.. Also you can't just put that on any vanilla Desktop PC due to the space and heat/power limitations. So mining it has been limited by a lot. Only people who already have the infrastructure like a small farm or home miner with a bunch of GPU rigs can switch to it without a heave investment.

So before, it was MUCH easier to mine. Now it's MUCH more expensive.
yes i think now much harder to get a block per day. so prices will go up, even down
Agreed. The price will be going up even more

354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Gnosis - the decentralized prediction market platform and oracle standard on: October 20, 2016, 04:40:40 PM
Sorry for the slow response guys, it's been a hectic month with DevCon2 and the Consensys retreat which followed immediately after.

To answer the questions regarding the token launch, we're currently targeting a late November 2016 token launch and are in the process of determining exactly what the mechanics of the token launch will look like. We're aiming to get the game theoretical incentives right so as to balance the interests of the core gnosis team, the token buyers, the devs/projects building atop the platform later on, as well as ensuring the process is simple and secure. We believe we found good answers to all those questions and are looking forward to share our solutions soon.

In the mean time, the best place to stay up to date is definitely our slack team(http://slack.gnosis.pm/), but we'll try to do a better job keeping everyone here updated from here on out.

Thanks again for the support guys, and keep the questions coming.

Thanks for the update. Waiting for the ICO
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🍇 ◣BBR◥ Boolberry🔷 RUNE EDITION🔷 Blockchain Development Company[Polo/Bittrex] on: October 18, 2016, 06:55:22 PM
Boolberry Network Address Oct. 13th 2016

Progress towards OTC market eligibility on Bitsquare:

I was able to reach Papa Lazzarrou who created and runs Monero Blocks and asked for the source code from it. He open sourced it and I forked it. Monero Blocks is an api wrapper for the Monero RPC client.

BBR’s RPC functions are outdated and have to be improved as well. This will let us extend many services off of Boolberry, including OTC market functions for Bitsquare, and web wallets.

Javajared started contributing to the BBR project on github, and updated one RPC function. Several more have been prioritized.

The BBR project now uses Waffle.io for ticket tracking, so you can see the progress of what is being worked on there.

https://github.com/BlockchainDevelopmentCompany/boolberry

https://waffle.io/BlockchainDevelopmentCompany/boolberry

Waffle.io is just a visualization for Github issues with labels. Recently Github also released their own “projects” section, but we aren’t using it. Waffle ftw.

Some developers have read the paper and understand the vision and are also in a place where they can contribute and get a net benefit from it.

There have been some donations to the developer fund and we need to create formalities on how that gets apportioned.

Great. Thanks Dev for this info
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silk Network: Silk(SLK), DarkSilk(DSLK) and Weaver on: October 16, 2016, 03:31:32 PM
Go on then, change the name. Darkcoin did it, others did it already. The Market has short memory so this will not even be remembered one day. That's a pity though: I personally started to like the camel.

Yes the market has short memory people will forget about silkroaddrugs.

silkroad was also involved in selling murder for hire and human trafficking, not just illegal drugs.  I like the camel and silk/desert theme but, with a movie being made, it will take some time to forget. Who want to live with that stain for years?  It was difficult for me to argue to keep the name when I constantly need to explain that this project has nothing to do with the darknet and/or illegal markets.  It is bad for business.

I couldn't agree with you more.  I think the majority of the community is behind the rebranding 100% based on the responses from community members who have been around these forums for a while.  I've gotten burned by a number of altcoins in the past 3+ years and to be honest, I haven't had this level of comfort with a coin before.  When I look back at the effort that Spencer, you, and the rest of the team expended on what was a tainted coin for 2+ years, and that the team was investing in the future of the technology, it only adds to my comfort level.  Couple that with the transparency the project has offered both here and on SilkNetwork.org, the effort the team has made to ensure no one  is left out of the swap from the old Silkcoin to Silk, and the teams availability to quickly answer concerns, the comfort level I have with this project is through the roof.  So much so that I have been buying up like a mad man since the news of the rebranding came out.

I really believe re branding is the best option. Many people outside crypto space know SILK as "selling murder for hire and human trafficking, not just illegal drugs"
