Update: Since this article's publication, AlphaBay has responded that they are up and running, that interruptions in Monero transactions were due to a software upgrade.

Why did it take so long for you to figure it out?  BBR is still living somewhere in 2014. Monero has made a good progress since.

 I tried BBR wallet from http://boolberry.com/downloads.html. The obvious observations are we need lighter wallet. My PC has 8GB RAM and to close the wallet I used End Task. Lighter wallet will made the price higher with sure. 1Blockologist can you make the wallet lighter

    yes that is one of the top priorities. Your RAM is being used because it has to hold the entire blockchain, which only gets bigger.

Its such an obvious problem for why Boolberry has such a low valuation, it is exactly why we are here.

Progress towards OTC market eligibility on Bitsquare:

I was able to reach Papa Lazzarrou who created and runs Monero Blocks and asked for the source code from it. He open sourced it and I forked it. Monero Blocks is an api wrapper for the Monero RPC client.

BBR’s RPC functions are outdated and have to be improved as well. This will let us extend many services off of Boolberry, including OTC market functions for Bitsquare, and web wallets.

Javajared started contributing to the BBR project on github, and updated one RPC function. Several more have been prioritized.

The BBR project now uses Waffle.io for ticket tracking, so you can see the progress of what is being worked on there.

Waffle.io is just a visualization for Github issues with labels. Recently Github also released their own “projects” section, but we aren’t using it. Waffle ftw.

Some developers have read the paper and understand the vision and are also in a place where they can contribute and get a net benefit from it.

There have been some donations to the developer fund and we need to create formalities on how that gets apportioned.
