I'm interested, but I don't live in Switzerland. The current sale price of the silver version of the coins would be .034 BTC including the BTC loaded on one coin. Accounting for the limited mintage, and the fact that these are no longer made, I'd say a fair price for these coins is .1 BTC. They would have been priced at 3.255 BTC when purchased as the value of BTC at that time would have been in the $350-$400 USD range.

I'll offer .1 BTC for them if you're willing to ship to the U.S., but I don't mean to offend in any way and I understand if you're not interested.

Perhaps OgNasty can chime in with an opinion on the fair market value of these coins?

HI,

sorry, at first i think Og has an another understanding beetween fiat and BTC Smiley ... not completely sure. The first possible price inside of Switzerland is 1.5 BTC.Outside Swiss coast will be more , so i don't think about use postal servive  Roll Eyes

Think it's hard to come together here ... Wink

Thanks anyway
If you still are interested i would start  an auction  (idon't know how long.... but US is to dangerous shipping from my place Wink

Sorry, in one post you said 1 BTC, in the other other 0,1 BTC ... but i think this is just cramatically mistake ... so where would you buy 0.1 or 1 BTC

Greetings to US

Fingolfin

No problem. It can be easy to miss the decimal point sometimes. I was offering 0.1 BTC. The problem is the 12 seats these coins represent can be purchased on NastyFans for .0084 at present time. The silver itself is worth roughly .01 BTC, and the value on the coins is less than .005 BTC. That leaves the collector value of the limited production coins that are out of stock. I know that can be hard to value, but I think it's a long ways from the physical value of .0234 BTC to the asking price of 1.5 BTC. Anyways, I don't mean to argue, I just wanted to explain what might seem like a lowball offer. I totally understand and good luck with your sale!

No Problem. But as you clearly can see my point ist selling the "That leaves the collector value of the limited production coins"   For selling Silver and some satoshis i could easily can choose another place. May they will have a collectors valiue know or anywhere in the future or not Smiley  ... i don't know.  Have a nice day

(Also. I don't know what what the corona sitiation could make it possible sell outside of Switzerind.
Someone Interested?

There is no time limit. I accept or not! The approximate price in coins at the last possible day to buy these coins was around:  (Can't really tell anymore, was a long time frame with different prices i paid: But i think (after checking all transactions again)  3.255 BTC for all these 6 Coins + 12 minted seats + containing satoshis) is the closest i can calculate today, that i have paid.
So, this is not an auction. There is no time limit, i don't think in fiat terms, so just write me an PM or post here, what these Coins may be worth in BTC for you. I provide an BTC-Adress as soon as someone is Intrested to do the the deal under the conditions that are necessary for me. (Notary   Roll Eyes)

And of course, i'm open for talking about that offer!

Cheers!

I went light on fees and will try to push it.

Good got it confirmed and saved a dollar or 2.

Note my trezors are a mess due to multiple transactions the wallets slow down and take a long Time to clear.

At the moment fees are decent so I consolidated the ck funds and they now sit in this address below.

Make note if you want to donate to it.

I want to update this.

I have 0.01755 btc in my coinbase account that is the donated money.  I made a lot on my doge holdings on my trezor wallets and found my trezors froze the doge for 4 days.

So I am less happy with using the trezor for longer holds.

I have 0.01755 btc which is about 1053 usd held. I will hodl it till June or till coins get to 100k.

So coins are on coinbase and are safe.

I will then send to ck.

so we have 0.01755 btc left.

I can send the coin to your address ck

Sorry to hear that, but no one force you to do it, if you can spend a bit of unneeded mbtc, maybe after you find a block, its fine for all.
Do not worry about it.
I think we have enough money together to keep this running for a while.

its a bit boring in this thread, so lets do another solo round Grin.

There is no minimum amount of participants, or maximum either.
You can gamble any amount of btc, starting from 0.005 to 0.03.
If we find a block, we will split the block reward between all the solo gamblers percentage-wise.

We will start our solo journey in 7 days.
Write down you’re nickname and send me a pm, if you’re in!

P.s We will also donate 1% to ck from our solo pot, and 1% if we find a block.

1. ailikun   0.01 btc
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

Quoting this to see the progress the next few days. I'm not very optimistic about this tbh.
In the german section where we did some solo runs weekly arent interested persons any longer since the halving. Too sad because every run was a lot of fun.
If this slots are getting filled I would put some BTC in aswell.

Who will manage this run? In our german section these runs were managed by willi who is an trusted escrow here on BT.

Ok Smiley i like to comment this!   :

At first, yes we are able to trust willi in the german section!!! We are not able to trust ailikun here on this thread ..... why? There was no succesfull solo run, so we need a little bit time to trust him!!! Smiley

On a nother note ... Fuck Off ... I i told i will donate 0.01 BTC or 100 Bucks (€, chf, $) to keep this solo service through phil alive. And, sad but true wasn't able too  Roll Eyes ... so please excuse, everyone, i try to donate!!! , but will take some time, since i'm totally financially broken.

So, thats all i can do for ME and BITCOIN FINANCIALL FREEDOM:

Thanks guys.

I think the answer has been laid out for you. I did not ask for the pool's running fees, and I definitely did not ask for donations.I was planning to close the pool because I was making nothing from it, yet I was exposing myself to risk because I took it upon myself to be open about issues that I had with the pool. However the community wanted the solo pool to continue so I said I would keep it open as a not-for-profit community pool with a seriously trimmed down version of the existing hardware (and in one location only.) The community then said they wanted better hardware/location etc. and I said I couldn't afford that but they all offered to chip in and pay for it. The pool fee will amount to 2% of probably 1 maybe 2 blocks per year. I wouldn't want to maintain a pool with the time, effort, and heartache that provides, with it not even covering the cost of running but they all offered to pay for it because they wanted it. I don't mind maintaining a not-for-profit pool if I'm not paying out of my pocket for it, nor exposing myself to risk by running it. Not many pool operators would give a quote for how much their server costs to run and expose all their code for free to the public, in addition to running it for no profit. The 2% fee would be some recompense for my time - I even offered to remove the fee entirely but they all insisted I leave it and perhaps increase it. I've said before I don't need donations, and I still don't. The community support is the only reason I decided to keep the pool running. It IS fun to run a pool for the community.

So long story short, once upon a time the solo pool was partly run for fun, and partly for me to make profit, and it stopped making profit more than a couple of years ago. I decided to therefore close it down, but the community wanted the same pool to continue as effectively a community-funded project but with me running it so they all forked out to make it happen which made me happy to continue running it.

Very nice statement for all your affort over the years! Just have to thank you!!! And i'm due to donate some bucks to phil's escrow adress  Wink

Thank You!

curious - why would the miners have to pay to have the pool open?
I would be willing to say they have earned more money from this pool then ck has .

if part of the cost is paying 3-5% to nicehash up front when you rent.  they donating a fraction to ck is only fair.

Ok. Looks about right, but where is the problem???   Whe need NiceHash ATM ... nothing bad about it... i hope so !?

.....    Can't whe channel some PH/s   ...   or EH/s    trhrough this here, to get a community again  Huh

Ok, i'm out of service  Cool

curious - why would the miners have to pay to have the pool open?

I think to answer Stryfe's question and to put the best construction on it we have to realize and admit that a solo pool is no longer profitable nor maintainable out of it's own resources.  But a solo pool is still very beneficial to the entire community.  We all should have a solo pool in our failover list.  Solo mining for the individual is very difficult these days so having access to this solo pool is very beneficial to all.

Spots the point!!!   ... nothing else to say  Cheesy

Nobody HAD to.  They decided to pay for updated hardware.  Read back in the thread as the answer is quite clear.

this I get - but why should the pool miners pay for updated hardware vs the pool operator - who should be the one to do so, or am I wrong?

He did, we donated him to do, so what is your problem?

again, when did I say I had a problem? I only asked why would they? In my own reasoning I think they should not - I was asking for reasons why they should. Again, no where do I say I have a problem with it.

For me it is no different than pool owners/operators (or anyone else) asking for donations - except there was never an ask made.  This was grassroots to support a pool and programmer who has done a lot for miners.

There was never an expectation or ask - just a collection of funds from supporters of a pool.

I guess this is what I have never seen - I have never seen a pool that asks for donations - and in this case neither did CK.

Where did it say that we had to pay to the update hardware?  are you just trolling?  im sure everybody here makes their own decisions and dont need someone to speak on our behalf.
-ck was going to shut down all pools.  us here who play lottery only wanted him to keep up solo, because maybe our current gear is not worth pointing to unlucky pools.  we all know our
risks, decide on our own, and send btc to whoever we want.

anyways what are you trying to get at? do you have a pool and want us to join it?  or do you want us to go to a certain pool?  are you trying to watch out for us? keep us safe?

your comments just dont make sense.

I was simply asking why would people pay to do so? I myself could not imagine doing it myself - So I wanted to simply know why others would - if that is too hard to answer (because all anyone has done is attack me for asking lol) then never mind.

from the beginning I said I had no qualms with anyone doing so - I simply did not understand it.

Ok, don't know where to start with all the replies! But first, think about a "pool" ... "solo-pool" isn't able to pay server fees and a little bit tip to -ck !!!   ... what you think ... shut down!  Smiley ... right! know, ... there are people (like me) who still like to have a chance to hit a block!!! Even if it's only one Block in about 1 : 1000 years   or 1:100 years  (depending on the climate!) .....    so, we donate some bucks to the pool!  (ok, i donate in the future, but also a lot in the past!) ... where is the problem about this??? Whe like a chance, better then none  Wink peace

Yes! Fees maybe can handle it on this "pool" ,to run the server. But maybe "someone" likes to get his code and maintenance paid, (in $) !

is it because ck does not have the funds? that i doubt - pretty sure he has over 1k btc - if not more as he has been in the game since nearly the beginning

Sure! But what is about you, you share your old Money/Coins with anyone else??? ... I doubt!

so is it more likely that ck no longer wants to manage a pool? if so, would it not be better then to join another pool that the pool manager wants to operate?

Maybe, but i think he still likes to manage it Huh Yes! Use another "solo "pool" provider. Maybe he's legit maybe not? ... What about runing your own full node and a bitcoind and submit a block hash???

However, we all can decide by our own where whe point our hash, i think Wink

I feel a little bit ashamed that i'm not also pay 0.01 right know for the server. But i will do so, as soon as possible  Wink

Thanks for showing support, by the way, 0.01 BTC is not the minimum amount for donations, people should send what they can afford, 1$ 10$ anything they are willing to contribute with and if someone is worried about the network fees, put 1-2 sats per byte and let the order sit there for days, no rush, we did cover the first 6 months for the server, I believe we should also pay the extra 6 months and CK got once funds reach the threshold again, with that being said even those who can't or don't want to donate can still use the pool, don't be ashamed, mine on.

Ok, ashamed is maybe not the best word  Smiley   ...   But i'm here since the pool's inception, started to mine with 4 S3+ at 300 MHZ (600 GH/s) occasionally a few days a week. (Yeah i had a very good Batch back then).

I really don't like to see this pool to go down anytime soon.

So, i'm more then willing to throw 100 bucks or so, to cover costs. But it in any case it will take a while to send coins to phil, but it's on my Mining/Bitcoin shedule  Wink

all work

we have
0.019615

would like to grow it to 0.1  in under six months and send ck more coin for the server.

we gave him 0.09 which paid for 6 months ck put up 6 months so we are paid for a year.

I wont grow the fund too big so slow nickels so to speak are good.

Hey, yes looks like that all sendable ammounts  Wink   ...   but ATM i'm not able to send a single satoshi ... but will do soon.

By the way, new sever location looks good for me! 90-99 ms to solo.ckpool.org and solo4.ckpool.org (both end up at solo4.ckpool.org) . ipv6 looks bad from my location. around 120-180 ms, so i just use the other route.

My prediction is we will see a swing from the large operation to the smaller ones in time and again factors such as price weigh heavy into this prediction.

I really also want's to see this again, since i bought my first S1  Cry   ... The problem is, i think. How many Trillion $ can BTC handle without the big farms, securely Huh   ... no way to find a "middle way" i think. On top of this, there's just a "new Chinese pool" arrived after the halving with 7 EH :   Lubian.com   ... just another one of the Chinese mining Cartel, that's holds much more then 50% of Bitcoin Hashrate ...   Huh

Any ways out to get Bitcoin finally in the hands of the majority of World population??? ... I didn't found one myself, only earned mistrust in trying to help the people i like most, to get to a financiall state where they can decide by there own what to do, ... next.

However, Yes!!! Let's loose 50 or 80 EH of Chinese Hashrate and see if Bitcoin can survive  Cheesy   !!! ...

Lubian has been around for some time now, ~ 1-2 years.

Ok??? I've never seen this name before the halving. At least not at https://btc.com. But, when i look at the stats, it says it has 159 blocks in the last 6 month, so, maybe i'm blind  Wink. By the way nothing against China! But "Hash Monsters" started to scare me, a while ago.  Wink
