Probably better to implement your own exchange so that you can tailor the rules of the Fees. I don't see the Fees being the actual problem, just that Cryptopia and other exchanges only withdraw based on a flat rate so if you want to implement a % based withdrawal Fee, it doesn't fly without them recoding their exchange.

You should just throw iFUD4BTC on ignore if you are finding him too distracting and focus on solutions.

Cryptopia does support % withdraw fee, we also added dynamic withdraw fee especially for FLY (retrieves fee estimate via RPC call to wallet)

But if you want your own exchange we do sell Exchange platforms. (Cryptopia is a development company)

what is this thread about?

if i remember right, there was a coin that nobody is able to receive!

Btw, CRYPTOPIA has put the wallet in maintenance since the day they are aware about the issue with the chain.
Whats the problem now? Nobody can withdraw a coin when a wallet is maintenance mode!

Apparently they didn't as deadlock1 was able to withdraw coins and lose them.

When it was suggested, by me, that they disable deposits and withdrawals their response was 'i dont give a fuck about them'.

And if the Coin's Dev fixed the chain the transaction would have went thru,
since the coin's dev did not care enough to fix it why would any one else.

Your expectations are silly at best.
No responsibility falls on an exchange if the coin's network is not working.
You have to be daft not to understand that.

AG18

Even as shitty as Cryptsy is when it comes to certain things they at least let their users know their shits broken. Is that really too much to ask for?

deadlocks stuck withdraw was the transaction that alerted us to the issue, he had multiple PR withdrawals before hand that worked fine, once he logged the support ticket we noticed the issue with the coin and it was disabled, that's why no one else has a stuck PR withdraw

Why wasn't it noticed beforehand that it was down? Apparently it has been 27 days since it was last synced.

How many more coins are like this on there that people will run into over and over again?

OK, since you are basing everything on assumptions here is what happened.

deadlock1 opened a support ticket about an issue with the PR pool not working, we investigated and found that ther was an error with the GetBlockTemplate call, we assumed it was and issue with our pool software so we investigated, while we were investigation the pool, deadloac1 withdrew some PR, because we were the only pool and it was down the coins never moved.

At this poit we put the pool and wallet into maintenance, its now been 20+ days since the indecent, all other withdraws he done that day works, but the coin literally broke right before he sent the tx.

Im not sure how you expect me to preemptively predict when a coin will break, but its something we cant really do.

We tried for 2 weeks to explain the issue to him, but he started demanding BTC but he was withdrawing PR not BTC so not sure why he was asking for BTC, thats when he started this thread, and here we are today, threats to family and all sorts over 1300PR coins

So there certainly is a problem with staking directly to exchanges. Im not exactly sure why yet. We THINK its a problem only with Crytopia, as nobody has said it does not work with Yobit. A fix will be implemented in the next wallet release. For now since the fees are low, continue to stake to savings, then send from your savings address using coin control. You will NOT be charged 10% as those fees are not active until the next wallet update which will include a fix for this.

Vegas

Hey Dude,

Ok, there are a couple of issues with the "savings" transactions that hopefully we can find a resolution for that suits both sides Smiley

Fist the transactions show up in our wallet as

Code:
    {
        "account" : "redacted",
        "address" : "redacted",
        "category" : "generate",
        "amount" : 0.00000000,
        "confirmations" : 125,
        "generated" : true,
        "blockhash" : "c169bc63b93872953fbd232e98f4c89370f0ab63ef2dec633597b7d298bda55f",
        "blockindex" : 1,
        "blocktime" : 1447609426,
        "txid" : "28121b965c6618b033375235bf5e25624c96fe9c5dd36b7053891f03a4595d00",
        "time" : 1447609426,
        "timereceived" : 1447609395
    },

So the fist issue is that they are  "category" : "generate" not "category" : "receive" like normal deposits.
However our system specifically filters out "generate" to avoid people mining directly to our wallets and stops POS coins messing peoples balances if you have one of those "awesome" coins where you cant disable POS Smiley

I'm not sure if you guys can mark these as send, or even name it something unique like "savings", as us allowing the "generate" ones in now could have widespread effects access other coins. but we don't mind adding support for "savings" or something similar (hope that makes sense)

The second issue seems to be that the all have an amount of "0.00000000" so if we need to get the amount based on the inputs or outputs of these transactions we will need to know.

And an idea about the low withdrawal, perhaps if possible a "Refund" system could be setup, so we take the 10% loss on withdraw and weekly or monthly we can provide a list of the withdrawals to the team and we could be refunded from the SuperFly wallet, it may not be the most glamorous method, but it avoids adding any code that centralizes the coin itself, also means no code bases need to change and it can be just a relationship between Cryptopia and Fly teams

Anyway we are here to help with anything you guys need, you can reach me in the trollbox most days (sa_ddam213)

peace

Got them, I have no legal grounds now for bothering you. But should I be scared about these powerful enemies Cry

Yes, you should, The people you scammed are not the people to scam, I tried to calm them down, but they are gunning for you, you think you can scam people and you wont make enemies???

You had no legal grounds to do shit anyway, YOU BROKE THE SITES TERMS AND CONDITIONS 7 TIMES, you even admitted it

here is a wee lesson for the future, if you run scams on public sites like exchanges, your gonna get caught, you are gonna piss people off,

Good luck buddy.

I'll miss all the random shitcoins, but that works  Embarrassed

Still not happy about all the money you took dumping on Dotcoin, but I have no legal claim to it. Only that little bit in my account is in question.

Cryptopia owes me roughly 0.005 Bitcoins, they banned me and then locked my account for no reason. I'm glad this didn't happen when I had thousands of dollars there.

It is illegal to steal people's money like this. I am shocked they do this sort've thing. Very unsafe.

And in any case I want my money. I had alot of different coins there.

You creating 6 accounts to circumvent your chat ban broke the site Terms & Conditions you agreed to when you signed up, so Its completely legal actually Smiley

I suggest you read sites Terms & Conditions before trying to run scams in a public chatbox, I now see where you got you impeccable BitcoinTalk trust rating from
I was banned after saying "I have so much faith in this place I withdrew 0.36 Litecoins" right before maintenance. Then I circumvented the banI didn't think it was a big deal. But then you used that to steal my money. You need to send me the money or you're stealing it. And if you steal it that will forever tarnish your reputation. Everyone on Bitcointalk now knows you steal Bitcoins for no reason, and will therefore avoid your website.

tl;dr Admins had a personal bias and stole 500,000 satoshis. They wanted to steal alot more but I withdrew it a long time ago.

You clearly broke the rules, and you knew it because I posted the T&C's everytime you spoke in chat with a new account

Please take you scamming elsewhere, you are not welcome at Cryptopia

If you want your $2 back just post your BTC address Smiley

Where is my money, stealers?

You have now all of my coins. This is criminal.

Warning: This could happen to everybody on cryptopia being locked by these Scammers without reason. All I want is my money back!

LOL, then just logon and withdraw, you account is not locked, still waiting for you to prove your lies about mining, are you attempting to change the subject?

Open your eyes.  Grin

This transaction does not exist, cause it was never sent! I mined some blocks (not seen on the blockchain explorer - this must be restarted/resynced). But no transaction like this!

Here the revenge-mail from Cryptopia: (look at the warm and friendly words  Grin )

Quote from: Mail from Cryptopia
Reply: Hi, I am closing you ticket since you don't seem to understand how crypto currencies work and are still calling us scammers. I will post all these support tickets in the BCT thread you created so other members that do understand crypto currency networks can realize you are retarded and are calling scam on us when simply the PR network is dead. Please withdraw all you coins within the next 24 hours as you account is going to be removed permanently for continuing to spread FUD that we stole you shitty PR coins when you were given answers to your questions about why they have not arrived.

Now everything is gone, all of my coins, goodbye! Scammer have taken all my coins.

Have locked me!

OHHH.. you mined some blocks did you, how did you fix the PR code which currently returns invalid status with 'getblocktemplate' you should pass on the code changes to the DEV so all the other pools can start mining again

Also you blocks don't show up on any wallet or block explorer, are they all in on the scam too??

Or are you just lying to try cover the fact that you are just mad you sent a transaction on a dead network?

The onus of proof is not on us, we have given you the TxId the PR wallet generated when it sent your transaction, when a new block is created this transaction will be included.

Now if you could kindly show proof of the recent blocks you just mined and the code changes you made to the source code to fix the issue with mining you could actually help the PR community.

Looking forward to your response, LOL

Since you don't quite seem to understand crypto currencies I will answer you here since you fail to grasp the concept in the support tickets.

Maybe some users here can help explain to you how crypto works and the confirmation process.

The withdrawal was sent fine:

Id           User           Currency   Amount           Status   Timestamp                   TxId                                                                                                   Conf.
37468   Solarsword   PR           1340.19450487   Complete   10/19/2015 8:09:45 AM   1b2e92fced1c6eb62e3613eeee09a9932eefa2f9d013b58813754e5f5774a264   0

Unfortunately the PR network is dead, No blocks have been found for 16 days so nothing is moving this transaction (the day you made the withdraw).

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/pr/

Once miners start mining this coin new blocks will be created and this transaction will be included in the next block and it will arrive at its destination.

We are unable to control the PR network so not much we can do to speed this up.

So like we have tried to explain in multiple support tickets this is a NETWORK issue, we have not stolen you PR coins, we don't want you PR coins, what on earth would we benefit from taking a few PR coins.

I suggest reading up on how crypto works so you don't run around calling people scammers when you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Solution: Fired up a miner; Create a block; Transaction moved; Turn off miner. If this is too complicated, then read the 314 page white paper on how to do the exact same thing. HAHAHA

So I have to go purchase a miner now to move this users transaction or Im a scammer.

How about no. How about he contact the coin dev to do this or he does it himself, you really cant expect exchange sites to do this for every dead coin.
354  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning Cryptopia !!! No payout on: November 06, 2015, 01:37:10 AM
Selective scamming, hmmm. They pick the high rollers to scam then  Huh
Then it would be too difficult to plead a solid case. They pay some and just have excuses such as saying that there are delayed payments to the others that they deem good enough to do this too.

Or perhaps the fact the coin he is trying to send is dead is the reason the coins have not arrived yet.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/pr/

We have tried to explain this for close to 3 weeks but the user clearly does not understand the whole transactions inside blocks thing
