Yes, there is many ways to earn 0.01 BTC. The cheapest and slowest way to earn 0.01 BTC is by fauceting.

I know that faucets are pretty easy for a newbie but it is not possible to make .01 btc per day through faucets except if he has a lot of referrals

I use blockchain android app and mycelium wallet.
I used blockchain web wallet too.
I tried blocktrail.com web wallet for a while but I stopped because I have no access to my private keys
I do not own a PC or a Laptop so I don't use desktop walleta

I did all my transactions since I knew bitcoin using my smart phone with blockchain android wallet and mycelium wallet.
I use it because all what I have to do to make a transaction is scanning a QR code with the camera and press Send.

I watched a documentary movie about bitcoin in Kenya and Kenyan people are using bitcoin to avoid high fees in Western Union and money gram.
So this warning will not stop them from using it.

I did not use xapo before.
I used coinbase with small amounts and I did not face any problem with it . I know that I do not have any access to my private keys and I can't import private keys either. But they pay the transaction fees and Their exchange is one of the highest volume.

Without internet, no one will be able to make a single transaction so it will be impossible to trade or exchange your bitcoin to fiat.
