It's not just that nasty KO from Francis (although it surely had some serious impact). Stipe is now 41 years old, his will be fighting after over a 2.5-year break. Sure, we can start turning men into women and women into men, but for what purpose? We've been doing this in the West for quite some time now and it doesn't seem to be working that great, does it?
Women can pull off great fights, but the price they pay is way higher than men. They have less muscle mass and lower bone density, meaning they're more likely to suffer serious injuries. But most of all, their peak fighting career years collide with peak fertility age, meaning having a "successful" career up to the late 30s very likely will come at the price of not having any children. The ability to give birth to another human being is objectively more important than a fighting record, which no one would care few years after retirement.
Karolina Kowalkiewicz is a good example, she got into the sport as a way to fight her depression (not uncommon in the female MMA world), she nearly lost a sight in one eye after one of her fights. She announced that she will be retiring by 2023 to try for a child and focus on maternity, but it doesn't look like that worked out. Shame, you could tell just by looking at her that she's very feminine and maternal. To look at girls like her and say "yeah, she should be spending her last fertile years on getting punched and kicked in the face" is insane. That's what toxic support is.

Nah there's no such thing as revenge. The Olympics is just more heavy than the FIBA World Cup for these NBA superstars. The fact that Team USA didn't bring any top superstars to the recent FIBA World Cup just shows that they consider FIBA as a practice stage for their youngsters to compete in global competition. Even if they won the Gold on the recent FIBA, their overall lineup in the Olympics will still be purely top NBA superstars and not those roster they have sent in FIBA. FIBA happens every year. Olympics is every 2 or 4 years? That's how the special Olympics is. For sure the Caliber and level of competition in the Olympics are different than with the FIBA and the NBA officials to consider not bringing their NBA players to FIBA but instead, they will take a step further in securing a spot with the Olympics than with FIBA, well considering the competition with FIBA if they are not targeting the championship and just targeting the improvement of their young star then it is OK, So that Abu Dhabi game is like the Dallas Mavericks homecourt with the announcer so happy whenever a Mavs shoots the ball. I like the roster of the Mavericks this season, most players are good at the defensive end. Seth Curry, Grant Williams, Josh Green, Exum, Morris, and Jaden Hardy, they actually strengthem their backcourt defense and I think most of the time they will be playing fast small ball plays with either Kyrie or Luka leading the way. I think Coach Jason Kidd should take advantage of this, he has good roleplayers there and he doesn't want to just bench them because they are reliable on both ends of the floor. Makachev has also done it but not as deep as T-City has done. It's just that I admit that it took a fighter with a high level of grappling quality to put Volk in that situation.
For me, his fight with Brian Ortega was pretty much outdated and if they would fight again it would be a different scenario for sure the ground defense of Volk was very much improved, and on the Islam Makhachev fight for sure you can see the difference and for me Islam Makhachev's wrestling is much advance than Brian Ortega's wrestling for sure, Charles holds the record as the fighter with the most submission wins in the UFC. However, the ability to submit with Brazilian jiujitsu can only be done if Makachev can be taken down. And that requires a high level of wrestling. I doubt whether Charles has it. Makachev's only loss was by knockout. So there's no record of how to beat that guy with a submission.
I think the additional weapon Charles needs for this matchup is TD Defense. I'm not sure someone will reach a high level of wrestling in a few months time but for surviving takedown attempts I think it's a more viable option to consider.
In the recent fight of Charles Oliveira against Beneil Dariush for sure if you notice the power of Islam Makhachev against Dariush for sure you can say that this is a different Charles Oliveira the power of his strikes was elevated and the technicality was there for sure he might have a chance on beating Makhachev but I can not take out the fact that Islam Makhachev also has improved a lot as well so if Oliveira improves Makhachev also improves, |

In my opinion, Bayern Munich's strongest rivals at the moment are Stuttgart and also Leverkusen. To occupy first place, Bayern Munich must win the match against Freiburg, but it is likely that Leverkusen and Bayern Munich will chase each other on points to fight for first position in the Bundesliga and if Leverkusen is able to win the match against Koln, of course Leverkusen will still be in first place with points that are much higher than Bayern Munich and it will be increasingly difficult for Bayern Munich to catch up on points to occupy first place in the Bundesliga.
So far the performance of both clubs is in good condition and so far Xabi Alonso deserves appreciation because he has succeeded in improving Leverkusen performance so that they can occupy first place. A little surprised by Angela Lee decision to retire before the fight for the world title at One Fight Night 14 and even though I may be late with this news the decision to retire before this important event begins is actually very unfortunate because Angela is fighter who can be said to be very good and will be remembered as legend.

Darmstadt was finally rewarded. They had already led against Mönchengladbach in the game before but they managed only a draw. In the match against Werder Bremen they also played with a lot of pressure from the beginning and Werder Bremen had no chance in the first half. They only woke up after the 4:0 in the second half. But that was too late. If they had started playing football earlier the game would probably have ended differently.
For sure I was shocked about Darmstadt at the same time I think I will be following Darmstadt for now to if they can do it again or if they can do it in other teams for sure many were shocked and that includes me aswell for sure Darmstadt have done a remarkable job in getting this win they surely are winning with 4 goals to zero lead, then the Werder eventually got 2 goals for them for sure Darmstadt have let them get those goals because the game is already in their grasp, I am one of those fans wishing badly for a new champion this season aside Bayern Munich, they have dominated the league for more than a decade winning every single league title and making the other clubs looking mediocre. Last season Dortmund were just 90 minutes away from ending that dominance and just like the other past seasons they fell off. So for this reason I wouldn’t be banking on Dortmund this season but rooting for Bayer Leverkusen.
Why I feel they have all it takes to win the league is that, Bayern aren’t dominating and terrifying as they used to be since last season even though they added some great players to the squad. They are still lacking that playing pattern and it seems Tuchel isn’t get it out from them. Bayer Leverkusen under management of Alonso since arrival in the second half of last season have shown that they can go head to head with just anybody and the acquisition of new players have proven that more this season so I hope they will scoop this tittle

Assuming Oliveira loses, there isn't too many options for his next fight. He could fight either Poirier, Gamrot, or Tsarukyan (if he beats Dariush). He already fought Poirier and Gamrot won against Tsarukyan, so Gamrot is probably the most likely one to get that fight. He knows this, that's why he called out Oliveira after defeating Fiziev.
Of course there's also Chandler, but he'll be patiently waiting for McGregor and he also already got defeated by Oliveira, and UFC can't keep re-running the same fights over and over again, they need to let some fresh blood in the top 5.
