Just as I thought that -3.5 for the Connecticut Sun was too small of a handicap for a team that had been dominating the league. That was my only win yesterday and my only single bet because I put the others in a parlay.
My parlay lost due to New York Liberty not covering the spread and then the Minnesota Lynx being blown out by the Dallas Wings which surprised me as the odds are almost tied.
Natasha Howard with another double-double for the Dallas Wings, 28 points, and 14 rebounds, that's a monstrous game for her. The last time I saw her make big numbers was against the Las Vegas Aces where she scored 32 points and 13 rebounds and they still lose the game.

I would prefer Ricciardo instead of Perez at Red Bull honestly. Because Ricciardo is a way more skilled driver than Perez. One can understand that even by comparing his time to Perez's time at Red Bull. Ricciardo was even able to bring the competition to Verstappen. If it weren't for some issues between the two drivers Ricciardo would have still stayed for a longer time period.
I don't say that Perez is not skilled but I just started to think he is overrated. Because he makes simple mistakes quite often these days. He is even having big issues with qualifying for Q3. Red Bull doesn't have to watch his trying to climb to top places from for example 15th place.
I think Red Bull would make use of a more consistent driver and I believe Ricciardo deserves a second chance.
Well, Daniel Ricciardo really is a skilled driver, and saying that the management of Red Bull is readying him to replace Sergio Perez whenever he gets sideways in the performance department, then he is there just to keep Checo performing well, but likely Daniel Ricciardo is driving on the simulation and calibrating the cars to function well, I really think they can say he can go toe to toe with Verstappen is because of the Simulation race, pretty much I would like to see that and if Sergio Perez would likely be taken out of the RedBull team in place of Ricciardo then I will be OK with that, But right now Nyck De Vries is out and Daniel Ricciardo is in, I think the plan of RB its pretty easy, if Ricciardo performs good on AlphaTauri what its left of the season he its gonna be again in RedBull for 2024 alongside Max Verstappen.

The German Bundesliga isn't a tougher when compared to English Premier League and the fact that the league does go to one month break during after the first 17 games seasonally which never happens in the premier league is another factor to prove that it is not as tough as the English Premier League.

Well, you are right about that well now that both the striker machine was gone in the Bundesliga, and yeah I think there is no debate anymore with that and with Harry Kane going to Bayern Munich because he doesn't have any trophies yet maybe he just wants to have some in going in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich, well I don't really know his true intention are but it is likely one of it right, Tuchel had such a short time to find the right formation for Bayern Munich when he was first brought here. He changed formations quite many times and it isn't very healthy for a team to be honest. They still somehow managed to win the league title anyway but Dortmund played a huge role in that. Now he has enough time ahead to find and apply the right strategies for the team next season. Friendlies will be a big opportunity to test everything to find the right way.
Besides I think Mane is likely to stay at least for one more season. Tuchel has seen how great player he was while he was playing for Liverpool in the EPL. I think he would like to give him a shot in his team for at least one season.

^ Actually, I was amazed from start to finish of the event and I was on the edge of my seat thinking if I could get great winnings this time well it is pretty much not bad, just OK, well I should say the Whittaker was a true upset just like what I have said Du Plessis was really going to their plan a good listener to his corner that is why he wins the fight, the Moreno VS Pantoja fight was a controversial I really don't like what happened with the result, and Lawler put a spectacular last fight of his career, and it was epic, I got to admit I was wrong about Robbie Lawler, Whittaker lost his opportunity to get a 3rd fight against Izzy. Its never expected that Dricus Du Plessis would win the fight but he did and even took down and pounded Whittaker. Can't say he will not get the next big shot later. But it was said how exposed Whittaker was after Cannonier southpaw stance.
I also thought Yair could make it against Volkanovski. Volkaanovski is just too much for him, you can see how he is overpowered TD is not enough. Overall UFC 290, has lots of good fights with great ends. Congrats to Lawler!

Crap, crap, crap. Lost all three bets. I was rooting for Yair Rodriguez to knock out Volk but what happened is the other way around.  Here are the results of the UFC 290. Alexander Volkanovski versus Yair Rodriguez - Volkanovski won thru TKO/KO Brandon Moreno versus Alexandre Pantoja - Pantoja won by decision. Robert Whittaker versus Dricus Du Plessis - Whittaker won by KO/TKO in Round 2. I hate losing but damn that's some powerful performance from Volk. The strategy was simple, put down Yair and let the fight be taken on the mat with Volk above him. It's a very simple plan and yet a hard task on how he could prevent Yair from standing again. He definitely dominated Yair there. Obviously, there's still a lot of room for improvement for Yair, especially on those takedown defenses and how he could defend himself once someone is above him. It's a loss but so entertaining. Congratulations to those who bet for Volk.
