463  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Redeemed Ungraded 0.5BTC brass Casascius coins worth on: January 25, 2016, 10:13:47 PM
I was told never to clean a coin  Grin

Many people say the value of the collectible reduces to more than 50% if I clean a coin but I think cleaning it with gently with a malt vinegar the lustrous property of brass will be seen again.

Also this is not some sort of ancient coin so the value will not degenerate I guess Wink

I don't how much coins you have but I want 1 or some more if available, can offer 0.04BTC like Indianacoin, that's a fair price.

Yes 0.04BTC is a pretty decent price imo. Cheesy
464  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Redeemed Ungraded 0.5BTC brass Casascius coins worth on: January 25, 2016, 09:52:20 PM
I can see some scratch marks. Are these marks present on the case or on the coin?

Also the brass is quite faded.
You can try cleaning it with malt vinegar but you have to be gentle while doing this to prevent scratches.

I can buy it with 0.04BTC if you are willing or else wait for high payers Wink
465  Other / Archival / Re: - on: January 25, 2016, 09:44:55 PM
Can you promise me that you will return my principal if there are some losses?
If yes then I will invest without escrow for more profit.

Please pm me with your payment address and mention the exact time when I will get back my investment principal+profit.

The vouches on HF aren't fake. His thread has over 1600 posts, 80% from them are vouches - and only upgraded members can post in the section/thread, so mostly reputable members vouch for him. I was one of the first people that invested. I didn't believe it at first and thought it was a ponzi, so I stopped after my first investment. But then I saw people investing thousands of dollars into his service and all got a nice profit from it - so I decided to invest in his service further.

So you are ♥Spartan (http://hackforums.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=646178) ? Wink
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Evotion on: January 25, 2016, 01:54:43 PM
Is this coin dead by now? Huh
I have been mining it on TekyBoy for a long time until they removed it from their pool.

I have been staking them and forgot to check for any updates till now.
Can someone help me if there are any exchanges for dumping them?

Edit: I found another pool : http://89.38.149.94/
467  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ Cloudmining 101 (ponzi risk assessment) ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁ on: January 25, 2016, 01:05:10 PM
At last you replied after so long Cheesy
Yes I have been updating the list since the former one is backdated according to the recent trend I suppose.

Also, I have not been following the mining/ponzi scene for quite some time, but at least one in that updated list is incorrect. Cryptx was never a ponzi.

I support your statement but I dont think its worth mentioning Cryptx is legit now since all newbies will get mislead by the former controversies.

Please keep it as it was, along with amhash it serves as a good reminder that good scores on this ponzi assessment list say nothing about the likelihood of producing a profit. A good understanding of the zero sum mining game and the economics of producing vs selling asics is a far better predictor.

Should I? Or will it be better if I add a note beside them stating that they were legit before but suspended their contracts afterwards?

Note: I actually updated the list with my main intention to provide a helping hand for new comers who might get carried away with the outdated facts.
468  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scammer] dj6230 on: January 25, 2016, 12:16:32 PM

Calm down buddy. The thread was created today at 09:08:49 AM and according to that link rdbase sent him $39-btc yesterday.
So its not 36 hours yet.

I saw him online for a few minutes. Maybe his internet is slow.
So you all can try waiting for few longer.

But according to seclog, he changed his password recently. This seems doubtful.
Code:
January 22, 2016, 09:20:18 PM - dj6230 - password changed
469  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [scammer] "althunteruk" selling edu email guide PROOFS INSIDE on: January 25, 2016, 11:45:29 AM
Sorry for your loss.
Next time never ever buy any guides or digital goods if the owner is not willing to give a vouch copy. You should have stopped after seeing this already. Undecided

He already had an intention to scam...

No vouches and don't want this being leaked or overused by one member.

Also do you buy anything looking at your posts you ask for alot of vouch copys of people.

I will answer all questions via pm or here.

You might have asked him for escrowing before trying to buying it so that the escrower can check its authenticity.
470  Economy / Services / Re: { Mine any Coins } Crypto Mining Instant Hash { Profit Guarantee } on: January 24, 2016, 10:39:21 PM
Be very careful with this person. Lotto max does not know who he is. I got this information through skype: http://m.imgur.com/WjUlgbA

Thank you for verifying the above post with the actual op of the respective forum.

Even then I do not support Lotto Max's service because it is too shady.
Even the vouches are fake. I will not try that for free also. Tongue
471  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known alts of anyone: User generated on: January 24, 2016, 09:43:23 PM
Just found another alt account!

1. Wapinter (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=527272)
2. Robertt (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=704654)

Proof (not substantial but clear enough):

1. First open this post as reference > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1338697.0

2. Read the highlighted statement that philiveyjr said: https://archive.is/JcyKh#selection-1271.68-1271.122

3. Read this selected statement Robertt stated first but removed it very quickly: https://archive.is/JcyKh#selection-1741.0-1741.129 But forgot to remove it from the quote he made from his alt account Wapinter.

I'm sure this will be tougher to verify but this is all I have to show for now.

So he has several alts! Shocked

Accounts connected: Wapinter #1, btvGainer #2, DomainMagnate #3 .
Proof:
Wapinter has applied to the Merkle sig campaign
His address : 18H2J2WJQLa53t5Mo79qbq3AvLDtp4TrFC
Reference Thread
Check Here
btvGainer "tried" to apply in a twitter campaign
His address :18H2J2WJQLa53t5Mo79qbq3AvLDtp4TrFC
Reference Thread
Check here
Now DomainMagnate is selling the account btvGainer here

472  Economy / Services / Re: Retype WW2 documents (scanned pdf) 0.0006 btc/page on: January 24, 2016, 08:34:40 PM
I dug deeper into the thread and collected the info's that are completed and are still pending.
Although nearly everyone has claimed every pdfs but they have not yet completed them after so long.

So here is the brief details about the completed vs pending pdfs.

Hope this helps for those who are looking to join here.
Best option is to finish the pending ones quickly and submit them before the claimer is done with it. Wink
473  Economy / Services / Re: { Mine any Coins } Crypto Mining Instant Hash { Profit Guarantee } on: January 24, 2016, 08:30:24 AM
When I see a thread on Hackforums I always have a good laugh reading them. Grin
All members in that forum are paid for vouching a shitty product to make you feel like they are absolutely legit.

As per the link pasted in op look at the first vouch. He received 0.0002201 BTC within first 2 hours of mining!
Even Antminer S7 will fail to do so. Wink

Good Luck!
474  Economy / Services / Re: Retype WW2 documents (scanned pdf) 0.0006 btc/page on: January 24, 2016, 08:19:07 AM
Per my spreadsheet these documents are not done, you'll have to check the last few pages since my last status post to see who has claimed them though as I know multiple have been.

Where is the link to your spreadsheet. Please add the link on op.

I have made it easier for Lutpin --- http://pastebin.com/1wbwYVCJ  http://pastebin.com/bJfAA0su

I may be blind right now, but wheres the difference between your second paste and my current table?

I made that pastebin when you were offline.
The first pastebin was wrongly done and so it was showing "bad table usage" when mexxer-2 was trying to edit the op.

I have made it easier for Lutpin --- http://pastebin.com/1wbwYVCJ
Seems something is wrong with your use of table.

So I fixed it and furnished it with a new one.

Oh, so you added only the alts. I thought you changed the table in some way to make it easier for me adding new ones, like a better formating than the current one.

Nope. Cheesy

Btw I submitted 2 list of alt accounts and I am not in the list of "level of awesomeness"?
476  Economy / Services / Re: [Crypto-Games.net] ★Signature Campaign★ | Best Rates | Full M. - Staff [OPEN] on: January 23, 2016, 01:23:44 PM
I do, you joined somewhere around round 10, and you've been on and shortly off with the campaign ever since.

That reply was just an approximation. I didn't check out the spreadsheet for that Tongue
Yeah I had left during November probably because I had to cope up with my busier life and all spots were full after I came back.
477  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [URGENT] [WTB] BTC FOR MOBIKWIK CASH. on: January 23, 2016, 01:15:48 PM

Confirmed. Thanks for the quick repayment Smiley

Also did another trade for 0.01BTC Tx
478  Economy / Services / Re: [Crypto-Games.net] ★Signature Campaign★ | Best Rates | Full M. - Staff [OPEN] on: January 23, 2016, 12:42:12 PM
I see you are watching me while postchecking  Grin

Yup! I was the "Anonymous Wolf" Tongue

Well, it's simple. Those are color-coded reminders for me, when I notice something during the post check, or when I got some other input,
I add those beside the users names, so that I don't forget about it.
Basically, yellow often means warnings or kicks, red mostly means bans, blue are users who ranked up during the round.
Other colors like green and orange are different things.
Tl;dr: Marks are for me, not you.

Thanks for the explanation. Now it makes a good sense. Smiley

Post check has been completed.
Payments will be done later today, but currently are on hold until some things are sorted out.
Payments have been done.
With this payment, we now paid over 8BTC in 32 rounds, reaching for almost 8 months to users of this forum.
Here is the Transaction

Thanks a lot. I have been on this campaign when I was a junior member. Remember? Cheesy
479  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Help mini privkey generator on: January 23, 2016, 11:10:07 AM
It seems to convert a 51 character private key into a 20-30ish character "Mini Key", all one needs to do is use the SHA256 hash function.

You can try this out on Python. It produces sample 30-character SHA256-based mini private keys in Python:

Code:
import random
import hashlib

BASE58 = '23456789ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijkmnopqrstuvwxyz'

def Candidate():
    """
    Generate a random, well-formed mini private key.
    """
    return('%s%s' % ('S', ''.join(
        [BASE58[ random.randrange(0,len(BASE58)) ] for i in range(29)])))

def GenerateKeys(numKeys = 10):
    """
    Generate mini private keys and output the mini key as well as the full
    private key. numKeys is The number of keys to generate, and
    """
    keysGenerated = 0
    totalCandidates = 0
    while keysGenerated < numKeys:
        try:
            cand = Candidate()
            # Do typo check
            t = '%s?' % cand
            # Take one round of SHA256
            candHash = hashlib.sha256(t).digest()
            # Check if the first eight bits of the hash are 0
            if candHash[0] == '\x00':
                privateKey = GetPrivateKey(cand)
                print('\n%s\nSHA256( ): %s\nsha256(?): %s' %
                      (cand, privateKey, candHash.encode('hex_codec')))
                if CheckShortKey(cand):
                    print('Validated.')
                else:
                    print('Invalid!')
                keysGenerated += 1
            totalCandidates += 1
        except KeyboardInterrupt:
            break
    print('\n%s: %i\n%s: %i\n%s: %.1f' %
          ('Keys Generated', keysGenerated,
           'Total Candidates', totalCandidates,
           'Reject Percentage',
           100*(1.0-keysGenerated/float(totalCandidates))))

def GetPrivateKey(shortKey):
    """
    Returns the hexadecimal representation of the private key corresponding
    to the given short key.
    """
    if CheckShortKey(shortKey):
        return hashlib.sha256(shortKey).hexdigest()
    else:
        print('Typo detected in private key!')
        return None

def CheckShortKey(shortKey):
    """
    Checks for typos in the short key.
    """
    if len(shortKey) != 30:
        return False
    t = '%s?' % shortKey
    tHash = hashlib.sha256(t).digest()
    # Check to see that first byte is \x00
    if tHash[0] == '\x00':
        return True
    return False

480  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] HaoBTC, mining dividend paid out hourly on: January 23, 2016, 11:02:52 AM
I am wondering how is HaoBTC going to backup the investment value during the Bitcoin Classic split-up session during the upcoming weeks.
It will be a radical decision to make and there is no coming back I guess.

I hope all goes well during that time.
