Well OP, I apologize for not being empathetic to your situation earlier but it has come to my attention that I should have. I am very glad to hear that after remembering about bitcoin that you where able to remember your password and log back in (but I guess you never logged out since others ventured on here to read) I hope you find that your current situation opens more doors than it closes, you just gotta stay positive, there are tons of office and or clerical work you can do and at least you have the support of your family. You should check out some signature campaigns, you could be the best poster on all of bitcointalk and the world wide web.

No worries man. I already had a feeling before posting here, that majority will not believe anything. But still I had to post it. Its better to let everyone know and fix the problem rather than staying quiet and moving on with the guilt.

Since I couldn't move out much, I have booked for pickup and they will be shipped within 24-48 hours after picking up from my place.

The details are hidden to respect winner's privacy. I have PMed them the screenshot without censoring.
The tracking numbers will be PMed to them next, after I receive. They can then confirm here.

Once again, apologies for all the hassle.

Proof it please with some photos of you and some hospital bills your words do not mean a thing.

I'm sorry, but I won't. My reply after ~2 years should be enough to provide a proof of some sort.

And btw, I did not ask anyone for donations or anything. And please, no one should send me anything or show sympathy towards me.

I came here to complete the pending deals I have here. I have more deals that are pending than this one, where my funds are at stake.

And you are welcome to visit my house if you need proof but not here. Sorry.

Hi hybridsole and jacktheking,

I'm extremely sorry for not sending you the coins that you have won in this raffle.

Unfortunately, during that time, my fate turned over against my life and I met with a deadly accident on September, 2016 which led me into medically induced coma for 5 weeks. My left leg was beyond repair and had to be amputated entirely.

After these sudden turn of events in my life, I got partially recovered and was released from hospital on March 2017. Shortly after, I was moved by my family to a calm, countryside area as was suggested by my doctor unless I fully recover myself. (Although I will never be able to fully recover after losing my left leg)

At that time I forgot everything. Believe it or not, I totally forgot what Bitcoin was, let alone remember about this forum and all the deals I had, pending. Meanwhile, I stayed there for 9 months, trying to recollect my lost memory. Although I recovered most of my memories by interacting with my family and my locals afterwards, I was still not aware of my online presence back then as I had no access to my laptop or mobile there, they were left back to my house.

Fast forward to December, and one day my nephew came to see me and we were chatting. That day, the word "Bitcoin" was brought into our talks as my brother seemed curious about it and I suddenly started recovering memories about bitcoin and my online presence here. He was 12 years old and I asked him back, how did you know about it? He then replied that, after I was admitted and up until he visited me, he accessed my laptop occasionally as both our houses are near. During that period, he played games, browsed the web and whatnot and he had therefore seen my bookmarks of bitcointalk threads which were mostly related to collectible threads. Seeing those images of coins, I think he got curious and had that question in mind. (He might have visited me when I was in the hospital but was not allowed to visit me until I recover fully).

Finally I got to return home on previous Monday.

Now, seeing the negative trust, I am certain that I was shown "online" as my account was logged in at times since my brother visited here, no wonder when. I definitely deserve to receive negative trust since it was obvious that my account was online and I was not replying, and I have no complains regarding that. I am at least glad that my nephew did not write anything stupid from my account or pm anyone unnecessarily.

Sorry for this long post but I had to let you all know what went through my life during those times. I should have shipped the coins as soon as the winners were selected. That way the prizes would not have stuck here because of the events that unfolded afterwards. But I was outside my house, enjoying my holidays when the winners were drawn here through the blockchain. That's why I could not ship it early and had to wait till September but the accident happened while returning.

I will ask my nephew to ship the prizes to respective winners, either today or tomorrow and let them know the tracking number.

After all, this was a charity raffle and I have no intention of not sending the prizes to whom it deserves.

thank you for this!!!!

No problem man. Smiley

Hi, just curious, but do you know if the cryptonic is pure silver, or silver plated? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1104746.msg11840299#msg11840299

Their website has a lookup tool that can you use to verify the code on the rim as well.

I only ask because I have one of the latter, but would really love a pure silver! Cheesy

Thanks!

Unfortunately, its brass with silver plated. Updated OP to avoid confusion.
I also missed their flash sale of pure silver coins.

I'll take #9
<txid incoming after I finished with todays payrounds>

(Yes, I just came across this while checking your posts for this week Tongue )

Haha. I was thinking of the same thing that you'd notice. Wink

10  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Someone scammed me $9000 (13.4BTC) through Skype. on: July 31, 2016, 11:45:19 AM
If the story is true then that is a pretty dumb decision for you to make.
No one in the right mind will send $9000 to a completely unknown stranger also knowing the fact that you are dealing with an anonymous cryptocurrency. You could have at least broken the transactions into several increments and have waited for every time the other user sends you the equivalent money.

Well, no one in this forum will be able to help you now. Also forget thinking of someone donating you for your dumb decision.
Maybe karma caught you this time I guess. Wink
11  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: OVERVIEW: BITCOIN HARDWARE WALLETS █████████████████ Secure your Coins on: July 31, 2016, 10:56:16 AM
Good to know that my order of Ledger Nano S has been shipped and is on the way.
I will post a short review and first impression about it once it reaches my hand.

Not covered by the warranty (don't try this at home folks) but still it should survive an unexpected water spill https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNP3aXrsz50

Voila! Shocked
I didn't expect to be that intensively resistant! Of course no one will purposefully dip it as was in the demonstration but the outcome is really fascinating man!
Feeling glad to pre-order that beast! Cheesy

I have purchased the Ledger cheapest one but the material looks very cheap

You did a huge mistake by not buying the Ledger Nano S.
It is 100 times better than HW1. Being an HW1 user myself, I can guarantee the fact. Wink

13  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can we have a game similar to Slither.io ? on: July 31, 2016, 06:22:00 AM
my suggestion is, you can trying to contact programmer and ask them, or you can use fiverr dot com to find programmer with a little fee to make similar website that you write. i know that fiverr is a good website with large out source people which have skill to do what you want. i have a succeed in the past with them.

Thanks for the offer. I will think about it.
I have already sent a PM to chopcoin.io team in case they are interested to fork the game and start developing on their own.

Btw, can you send me some reliable programmers from Fiverr in PM whom you have worked with and succeeded in past?
Lets see if I can come up with something fruitful. Smiley
14  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The Dual Cryptocurrency BTC & ETH, physical on: July 31, 2016, 06:17:00 AM
The Ethereum side has already been funded with 1 ETH.

In that case, i can do another option of not funding the 1 BTC since coin is already funded with 1 ETH.

Okay that will suffice unless there is enough surge on Ethereum economy that I'll have to trade them off. Tongue
But anyways, that will help a lot. Thanks for accepting the offer. Smiley

It would appear not.

If you check the pictures, you will see addresses already engraved on the coin.

I assume these will be the ones loaded with funds.

You didn't quite understood my point.
I know the addresses are engraved. But I do not want to store the coins in those addresses as I do not intend to break the gems and reveal its private key in first place.

Rather, I want them being stored on a different address provided by me so that in case of emergencies I can spend the money without doing anything to the coin.
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I order supplies from bitcoinpaperwallet.com? Will my address be safe? on: July 31, 2016, 06:02:07 AM
Hi,
I want to buy some paper wallet supplies from bitcoinpaperwallet.com but I don't know if it is safe or not.
I don't want my address to sold or traded.

Thanks Wink Cheesy

Yes its safe to buy from there.
I have purchased some stickers and plastic zipper bags earlier from Canton, although for some reason it never arrived but he agreed to send it again with some extras to compensate for the loss and delay.

I don't think he is that type of guy to sell/trade your address and stuffs. You can ask him directly about it here:

Tel +1.505.501.8091
Email - canton@gmail.com

Really?? Huh But that would mean you'd never buy anything online ever... because you'd be worried any place would be likely to sell/trade your address...

Pretty sure the OP thinks that he would be buying premade paper wallets that already have addresses printed on them...

You still dont know what OP is asking for. You are just spamming the thread with your bullshit!

~snip~

Thanks for providing a detailed explanation of how its been scamming, I appreciate that.
I will update CloudMint.io in the upcoming updated list.

Till then you can stay on the forum giving us more updates on any other sites in your opinion as scam.
We need people like you to bust these scam organisations out there.

Thank you. Smiley
17  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: July 31, 2016, 05:47:35 AM
We just cannot site here and expect everyone to use Bitcoin within a certain time of the year.
It will eventually be learnt by everyone but there are certain factors, location being one, which prevents some places to get to know about it.

Also various merchants should start accepting Bitcoin as a payment method which can propagate its popularity.
There are several popular games which can start accepting Bitcoins to perform in-game purchases.

Steam accepting Bitcoin is a great way to popularize the cryptocurrency and its a great start that way. Smiley
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it really useful ReCaptcha? on: July 31, 2016, 05:37:19 AM
According to me if you want to create a 99.5% exploit-free faucet site, then you can implement both ReCaptcha and Honeypot at the same time just so that a faucet claimer will have to pass both the captchas at the same time. And I think there are very few exploits available for Honeypot whic eventually do not work after they update their security modules.

I know its tedious but you can try it out. Good luck.

Recaptcha is a good way to hold spam, over 90% in my experience.
But's it is not enough to hold 100%, in fact no captcha can do it. Every captcha can be broken by a pot.
Adding recaptcha and a custom questions is the best way to hold of spammers.

True, Google's ReCaptcha is constantly updating their captchas so that a bot doesn't recognize the images from a few visits.
This is why majority users prefer ReCaptcha.
19  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoBorrow.com- any experience? on: July 31, 2016, 05:30:51 AM
At first I thought that too but somehow it makes no sense. They gave me the loan but I can't withdraw it or repay it. But where is the catch, what they have of it?

I think they want you to lend someone first after your sign up.
Every lending site has some hidden catch or the other.

But I would suggest you to stay away from such service as you won't be able to monitor any of the lending activities in case you lend someone.
I have already given up those lending services since BTCJam's several loan defaults.

This crypto is a good one. Smiley
I like the implementation of SHA-256 so that I can use my left over miners into working some shares. I will start from tonight.

Also it will be better if someone makes a clone of the Pokemon GO game and adds this coin as a reward system.
Lets hope what this can offer in future down the road! Wink
