Good point Death and taxes.  A mortgage would be at 5% tops.  This is a strange request indeed.

I'll just leave this here.

One year, and look the price is down since my post.

Now, if the bitcoin price does not go down or stay the same, then it will go up.

Lol.

My logic is undeniable.

This is a strange question.  How should laws be justified?  Rothbard is an option.  Rothbard's claim was that laws were never justified.

Maybe it's semantics, but it's strangely worded none the less.

how long have you been watching bitcoin?

I hate to bust your bubble but there is going to be downward movement for the bitcoin price.  However it is possible that the price go up or maybe continue to go sideways.

I hate to disagree with you but it had to be said.

You can try the #bitcoin-otc on freenode.

You might keep using E-bay if you wanted to expose bitcoin to more people.  If you want sucessful transactions #bitcoin-otc.

Now that you learned your lesson, you know that you shouldn't do mid to large transactions on E-bay.

Just for reference, and to help me and others remember, here is an example where the chain has forked and at the moment I don't believe that this has resolved yet.

I do believe you are right.  There have been a few forks in the blockchain, where the solo blocks are ignored.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoins sent last 24 hours" completely useless stat? on: April 02, 2012, 04:07:59 PM
How should I interpret bitcoin days destroyed?  It seems if velocity is low then the number of days goes up.   If there are no transactions then this number is zero.

I just voluntarily pay a small fee, if there is more required the client tells me.  There is a very valid point made.  Say I want to empty a wallet.  You have to get lucky that you pick the right amount so that the fee is the exact amount left.

I bought a t-shirt.  I was worried that it was a bad purchase because the price of bitcoin might go up.  A very easy solution, buy more bitcoin.  Problem solved.

Hello,

I was wondering if the infamous blank blocks interfere with minors actually processing transactions.  In noticed on blockchain.info that sometimes there are orphaned blocks after these blank blocks.

It happened at block 173931 and 173929

Why is this,

Rothgar

I loathe newbie restrictions, but I suppose I loathe spam more. I'm whitslack, Free Stater, computer programmer, Bitcoin hobbyist. Just discovered Bitmit today and made a listing on it.

No idea how I'm going to come up with five useful things to say in this rather meaningless newbies board so I can reply where I really want to reply on this forum.

Hey whitslack,  I'm Rothgar, are you in New Hampshire yet.  I love it here.

Hey board.  I'm Rothgar, I've dabbled in bitcoin for just about a year now and I love coinworker.com
