561  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price. Whats your prediction? on: January 02, 2017, 11:33:23 PM
Well for my own prediction and checking the charts from blockchaini saw the movement of every fluctuate these days.. and i think those fluctuate also push the price increase.. well i saw that the movement is going to crash right now so i think the price will be stay at this price and it will not increase above $1100.. if we will seen that the price will increase more above $1100 maybe it  can be increase more until $1500 value.. so for now better to sell few percentage and save the rest just to make sure if the price will increase more you can be still get the benefits of the price increased.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your new year start in gambling! on: January 02, 2017, 11:23:02 PM
Such a large profit with 0.04 btc and turn into 0.25 that honestly never experience in my life.. you are lucky in this year. did you read your horoscope maybe you are lucky in this year that is why you hit and get winning streak.
Maybe i will try to bet a large amount with parlay and maybe i can turn small into large amount..
563  Economy / Speculation / Re: is 2017 the new 2013? on: January 02, 2017, 11:09:56 PM
I also say no it will not be the same as 2013.. we already seen that the price before is pumping too fast i think almost 1 and half months we will see the fast movement of the price. unlike right now we are still few users of bitcoin and gradually increase population.. that i hope the price could be more increase soon.. and more blast adoption and development will added after february..
564  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC will hit 2000 USD feb 17 on: January 02, 2017, 11:05:18 PM
I think its impossible but we can be still say it depends if there new huge development come in february  and adoption..
Maybe the price will touch in that price since the price right now and the movement spikes are increasingly fast if its continue we will see that the price will increase more because more people will attract with bitcoin..
565  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Btc price on: January 02, 2017, 11:00:35 PM

Grin
566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'd like to get some bitcoins. Is now a good time to do so? on: January 02, 2017, 10:56:51 PM
When this thread was opened (seven months ago) the price was below $600 and it was undoubtedly a good time to buy more coins. But at this time I am not so sure that it could be a good idea, because we are closer of the record high and at this point none can affirm with certainty what will happen next.
Don't bet against the trend, you could certainly make profit doing short term investment buying now. I still believe the price will not stop at this level, it could grow more and might surpass the all time high before it will fall back a little bit. Do not hesitate, learn to take bigger risk, now is the right time to buy and tomorrow.
That's probably what was somebody that bought at the peak of $1200 range back then was thinking. He bought coins thinking that he will be able to sell it for a higher price and he just have to short trade it. It turns out, that was the peak. You don't want to chase an increasing market because you might end up buying in the peak as well. I would recommend waiting for a little while and see what's going on in the bitcoin market and then look for other's opinion in the speculation board rather than saying "today is good time to buy and tomorrow too."
Thats the hardest part on making some decision regarding on buying bitcoin because we wont know if we are on the peak or on the bottom because no one could able to guess the movement of bitcoins price and as you mentioned to those people who bought $1200 price they would definitely suffer losses when bitcoin crashes down its price back.
Yeah that is the problem but how about if the price will increase more.. so you lose the opportunity better to always buy more bitcoins if the price was crash if you really don't want to lose just hold those bitcoin and wait again for the price increase since we are already tested that bitcoin is always increasing becaise more adoption will come more price increase will come and its a normal that the price are crashing because it is always depends in demand and supply..
567  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: January 02, 2017, 10:54:28 PM
When this happens then you know the apocalypse is very close to happening.
That means that progress has ceased and the end is near. Embarrassed
With the strides that bitcoin has made recently it is hard to ever think of this happening.
This thread is old. Roll Eyes
Well, based on what has happened in the past, major price decrease like this one didn't mean apocalypse or some end-of-bitcoin stuff. It went to $1,200 in 2014 and then it went to $200 in 2015. Did the life of bitcoin end? No. People just hyped up bitcoins and then people dumped it for their reasons. The case might not be exactly $100, but it's basically the same thing as we're discussing.

well the 2013 price rise was mostly fake pumps done by the only big exchange at that time called MTGOX, and other exchanges had too little volume to have any say in things and they could easily pump the price to make an exit as they did soon after.

but if you look at the bottom $200 there was a reason for that price, the resistance for the real price and all the analysis showed that price as the bottom if you loo at the whole chart starting from 2009 and ignore the $1000 you see a smooth rise actually from $1 to $200 and continue up to today's price.
Well honestly i did not experience the 1k value from 2013 but now i experience and i am here right now from 2015 i am started studying about bitcoin and earn with bitcoin.. doing affiliate and marketing just to have savings but i am not expected that the price could be rise the same before 2013.
And now we are above $1,000 and i think more will come and i think the price will not crash just like before..
568  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: January 02, 2017, 09:57:12 PM
Im thinking more like 2020 and everyone will be using bitcoin in one form or another.

I don't even think that 2020 or 2022 is bitcoin is on total adoption by that time. 3 - 5 years from now on is still not enough to make the people use bitcoin. But thinking about its earlier years it went very far by now and it seems that many people are getting into it everyday. Still I don't think with those given years bitcoin is not going to be used by almost everybody.
although the number of bitcoin uses are increasing continuously, but still it is hard to believe that in 2022 almost all the people of the world will be using bitcoin at that time.
It is an unrealistic goal for a period of time of a few years. For this technology to have this kind of success, would take years and years in which people would have to spread the idea, so people would realize the importance of it. After a while, I believe the network effect would be very strong, and finally we would have a large percentage of the global population using it.
I think it is still impossible that on 2022 we will see almost all people will use bitcoin.. it can be still few because many alternative online are already well know used as payment online.. but the good thing in bitcoin the benefits of increases always depends in demand and supply and also depends on us the more people and users in bitcoin i think more price increase will come.. We are not fortune teller to know the future but this is my own prediction and the same as other thoughts that it is impossible everyone can use bitcoin in 2022..
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much do you think keeping logs is effective in gambling? on: January 02, 2017, 09:49:13 PM
recently i have started keeping logs of all my bets in an excel spread sheet so that i can see how much i am gambling each month in total and at the end of the month i can tell if i was successful or not.

how many of you are doing the same as i am?
Well i am not doing and save any record or logs in my own spreadsheet if am actually making profit or not because i am not targeting large profit or targeting to reduce my gambling activity i just gamble with enjoyment and gamble just to try my luck..
Keeping logs to your bets can gives you idea to know how much you are spending how much you are making profit or how much you are lose in total..
So if you keep losing and lose a large amount of money in gambling better to reduce you gambling activity or reduce your bet amount..or if you are making good profit just stay what you are doing..
570  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 01, 2017, 10:31:54 PM
I think its better to do both things, but we will see what is gonna happen, with the halving but its not sure if it will let the price rise.
The thing is also that its good to save money for the future, because you need money to invest in the bitcoin.
Investing is also good because of the future, and the halving that is coming.

Im not sure the next halving will make any impact into the bitcoin value, since the last year halving price were 500-600 dollars, and we are almost at the 1000 dollars, soo i really confused what will happen into 2020 with bitcoin. But for sure we should make both, even knowing the huge potencial that bitcoin does have but there are few risk as well.
i think we will see much more impact because this coming 2020 more users of bitcoin can know about bitcoin and many bitcoins users too knows about bitcoin and they are already using it so if after blocking event will nearly done again more people again will invest in bitcoin..
571  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: January 01, 2017, 10:29:22 PM
BTC trading is too risky. I know better than any other because I have lost a lot. Online earning is a ever changing method of earning. Anyone will be able to earn from online only if he/she can manage a unique way. True to say I tried a lot of ways. Still trying. I started my online earning as a freelancer earner in 2010. Till then I have tried a lot of things. Online gaming, forum posting, cpa marketing, cpc/ppc marketing, affiliate marketing, tried to run GPT sites etc. And with time, I had to change my way of earning.
So if you want to earn, focus on your skill. Provide some sort of services and seek reward through BTC. Analyze your ways, make it easy for you and your customer.
Its not too risky compare to gambling.. if you doing trade for wrong way you can not make a good profit.. if you have a good large amount of bitcoin for more safe better to stay with bitcoin to usd and usd to bitcoin just be a minute trader or hourly trader.. you have your own set of price profit..
The other you are mention i am working on them which is internet marketing or affiliate cpa.. that honestly it gives me passive income. with own blog..
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: January 01, 2017, 10:24:10 PM
I just came from a real gambling place, and I like playing online more, I feel like I have a chance of winning. I just lost money last night in the casino, but it's okay. Both are okay it's just that one requires more effort than the other. I just don't like the smoke flowing but you can't stop that right?

It doesnt matter whatever that you choose because it is the same however incase it is a provably fair site then you can check wether or not the game is fair. Im not saying that real casino is unfair however you cant prove that they are fair either so it is still much better to have the ability to check if it is fair or not

It may looked that real casino's are fair or also does have provably fair system but it is the reality that both of them are business. Both of them have always the advantage to get profit from their gamblers loss. But what matters is the gambling experience that you are probably getting from any of them, but for me the best experience so far since I went to real casino yesterday, I will say it is giving more good gambling experience
Yes there are very little chances that a  real casino or a gambling site can be scam as they have invested a lot of money for developing their site or casino, so most of them are running casino in business point of view but there may be some who are engage in scamming people.

So, it is important before investing money in real casino or in online gambling site to confirm that they will not scam.
Well form some country that gambling is legal those gambling casino will be hardly to scam someone but for those doing illegal gambling casino or site i think they can scam other or do fraudulent in their business.. so real gambling is a good place where you can be safe.. than real gambling and also they are need names and ID just to verified if you are qualified or not.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: January 01, 2017, 10:19:40 PM
Since the price of bitcoin is rising per day it is a really risky en devour to purchase the coin at this moment but for everyone who get hold of the coins earlier they can diversify it in investing in the major coins which have higher volumes and higher valuation. In short trading is the best way to invest your coins.
Well i think it is not risky if you are not believing in the price increase you can get the price benefits for now i was same to you when the price is 700 usd  last december.. but i am wrong to say that its risky to buy in that time.. now i realized that it is always good to buy bitcoins because the price is unpredictable and i think the price will increase more because more companies and people are using bitcoin. .
574  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The safest wallet? on: January 01, 2017, 10:10:52 PM
When we talk safest wallet? uhm for me are offline wallets. When it come to storage with securities i prefer offline wallets. 'coz you are the one who is responsible for your offline wallet security. You need to secure it with your best. Why i prefer offline wallets? 'coz most of the hackers are hack through online so thats why your offline wallet is safe. And also a suggestion you need 2 PC for online and offline operations the offline pc is intended for your offline wallets to be installed. While your online pc is intended for online transactions so thats why your bitcoin is safe. Just make sure you are the online one who has an access on your PC's. Also put some anti-virus and anti-malware in and turn on firewall for more securities just google it.

There is no "offline" wallet.. Blockchain is synced or queried. Both have huge attack surfaces. Synced is great if you carry blockchain backups everywhere with you.

Yes, Probably Blockchain.info. Although keep in mind there are probably more secure ways to hold onto funds.
Blockchain.info is fully client side encrypted so your keys are never visible to the service.
Pretty much, be aware that your computer itself could get infected and that won't save you from having your web-wallets getting hacked, nor your client wallets.

In general you are less of a vector to attacks if you use a hardware/computer wallet rather than a web wallet due to some viral attacks being capable of only infecting browsers.
desktop or hardware wallets does really have an edge compared to web wallets since you posses your private keys on your wallets which means you could able to retrieve those coins no matter what that's why its important to keep it and no one would able to know it.To OP theres no other safe wallet but hardware wallet but you said your country is too strict regarding on transporting or any other means. So use web wallet.
Well for me there is an alternative i am using electrum its a desktop wallet but i am not directly install it in my desktop i am using virtual os or virtual box.. the files after installation of the os you can install only the desktop wallet but to make sure its safe install anti virus first like kaspersky total security both money and crypto will be protected..  after that you can install electrum so that you are safe.. and after doing that thing you can directly deposit your money in electrum with the address.. save almost all important files.. in other folder of virtual box
After that you can save the .ova the whole os that you can save it for a long time if you have drive d:/ much better to saveit. so that once the c: drive is corrupted drive d:. will be still alive.. and recover your wallet..
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with your 13 bitcoins on: January 01, 2017, 08:31:20 PM
I never touch that amount in my wallet.. but if i had a chance to have that amount in my wallet well for me i will stay trading only for bitcoin and i won't let to invest in altcoin or depends if there is a new trend altcoin that has potencial to grow.. and invest few bitcoins in legit or top 10 altcoin in coinmarketcap..  which is for long term investment.. i will do different ways to buy low and sell high in bitcoin just to increase the amount or profit..
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: January 01, 2017, 08:10:47 PM
I know it isn't an investment, but in the last few years some "high risk" investment funds have appeared, and in them you can either lose it all or earn a lot of money.

Isn't this basically the same as gambling? Wouldn't it be faster to just deposit the amount in a casino? At least you'd be able to spend your earnings much sooner Cheesy
There are many gambling sites that offering investment from their bankroll, I think the words "high risk investment" is if you directly invest in the gambling site but if you only play then the words "high risk investment" is not right, just like other said gambling is only game that we have play with money involve.

Nope I think it is the other way around, if the site is legit and trustworthy.  There is more risk in playing in a Casino than investing in it.  Just check the odds and probability of winning.  According to the percentage, House have higher chance of winning, meaning if you invested in a Casino, there is more chance that you will earn profit than playing in it.
You have a point but according to other reviews about investing for different gambling casino there is gambling site that actually not giving you a good profit instead it can drain your investment gradually.. so it is still better to test your investment in many different gambling casino and choose after you reviewed you can disable or stop investing when you are experience of losing and stay enable your investment where you are making good profit.. i heard that betking is one of the site that can gives you good profit..
577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: January 01, 2017, 08:06:42 PM
I also made a big mistake in the time when I was starting the trade. In one of the post on this forum I saw someone recommending to buy cheap coins to take the start so I searched for the coins and found a coin at 1 satoshi and bought with a good amount of bitcoins and waited for longer but not increased then after a search about the coin I fund that the coin is died some months ago.
Any coins being traded at 1 satoshi means it has been dumped and no buyers are there for back it.

Basically a coin getting sold at 1 satoshi can never get up at all, being new its fine to get hopeful but anyways I guess now you have understood you lesson.

Another pro tip is that never trust a coin just because the owner pretends the ICO was big.

There are some coins that were sold at 1 satoshi that had everything sort out and raised the price more than 100,000%.  I can name some.  I believe as long as there are developers behind the coin, there is always a possibility for that coin to uptrend in price.  Those who never get out of that 1 satoshi is probably trading good in litoshi ranges Smiley
Not all from 1 sat can be uptrend or increase the price again.. it is honestly hard to rebump the price because other people are trying to sell their all altcoin that can hardly buy almost all unless if there is already other people are supporting that altcoin that can push and buy those in the sell wall..
for other altcoin if there is still active developers like you said there is still a chance that those altcoin can be bump up again..
578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Breaking: Bitcoin OFFICIALLY touches $1,000 on: January 01, 2017, 07:57:46 PM
We're not experience that the price hit $1,000 from 2016 but this 2017 we are now touch with $1k and i think more price coming possible price can be touch soon was $1,100 the next goal if the price will stay long in $1,000..
And i think many people are still business and they are not seen the price of bitcoin right now so soon we will see large pump for bitcoin..
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling trading or giveaway? on: December 27, 2016, 01:18:15 PM
I think most people here are looking for giveaways and gambling . and i think in trading they are just few user in this forum are in trading,. because they are most in trading are in affiliate from other forum just like in forex..
For me i am here for knowledge and getting addition study for altcoin section which is you can get info about altcoin and get idea if that coin has potencial in the future or not.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 your year or just another year on: December 27, 2016, 01:14:56 PM
So with the year saying us goodbye and the last Tuesday setting in, how was the year in gambling aspects, how much did you make, which sites you earned most and which you lost on. What's that one bet you can remember and one move you you wished you never played. I have played on primedice seemed decent though I played with small amounts, planning to play big next year. Do share your stories
Well for me this is just another year.. and this is still not my year., maybe this coming year, i already experience many things in the world of bitcoin like about losing lots of bitcoin in gambling and losing in the first time in trading .. but those experience honestly can help you to learn and correctly next time you do it.. i realize that gambling are made just for fun.. and  honestly trading is the best that can give you good profit if you know how to trade and what altcoin much better to hold for a long time..
Next year i am planning to start more business so that i can save more bitcoin and my goal is to buy a car with bitcoin..
