Xapo was okay at first but I stopped using it because of its huge amount of transactions fees. I'd rather suggest you to have a hardwallet to store your coins like Ledger Nano or Trezor, that's more safer.
Yesterday I had a transaction from the Xapo web wallet, and the tranascion fees are really strange. The first strange thing was that when I have checked the transaction on blockchain.info, I saw that the transaction had my output, the fee output and another output. It seems that they combine outgoing transactions. The second strange thing was, that I was also able to check the fee on blockchain.info, and it was half of the fee I have been charged by Xapo... I was not really happy... I can understand that they provide free transactions inside Xapo system, but the fees of the outgoing transactions are much higher than the miner fee. I know they have costs to run their system, and they need to cover those costs somehow, but anyway.... That's exactly my point, really strange and I don't understand why they charge such huge fees. I'm not sure right now since bitcoin's price had pumped but the last time I checked my Xapo account the fee was around 150k sats. That's the reason why I also stopped using this wallet too, I don't understand their system now because at first it was really okay. Not a good idea right now to use xapo and many complain about their service these days about the fees and pending transaction. If you really care about your bitcoin and you want to be fully control about bitcoin better to transfer it in electrum instead and you can backup your wallet address for safety and you can change the fee that fits to your needs. Its not really safe right now to use online wallet base on my experience because already bad experience with xapo and coinbase i'll stik using electrum and mycelium for mobile.. |

This is the reason most of the people avoid cloud mining first and then to do for hardware miners like antminer or asus.
Whether it's cloud mining or actual hardware mining, I seriously don't understand why people are so obsessed with mining in general ~ you depend on too many variables to call it a proper investment. Buying Bitcoin or whatever other altcoin has always been far more rewarding than mining ~ it takes far less time, it doesn't require any resources like hardware mining does, no need to worry about broken gear, and the list goes on. If you invested $1000 into mining at the very first day of this year, you would still be struggling to recoup a large portion of your initial investment. If you bought Bitcoin, your $1000 would be $4900 right now. You got the point and i think those people who are looking for cloud mining are just encourage by great offers and promo that actually investment in this service are really risky to invest and its internet base you can not handle the miner.. And if you buy real hardware like you said you can not get recover your capital invest it takes few months or year before you can recover your investment and after that poor bitcoin you can earn.. But it takes a long time before you can make profit so buying altcoin as investment i think is much faster than you mining it and mostly cloud mining site are scam those are not safe.. |

That was honestly not high paying campaign i think you can change the title into cheap paying campaign.. Because mostly here in forum are paying for high ranks are $3 to $5 per post in bitcoin.. in weekly basis.. Where were you in July when the value of bitcoin lost something like $800 in a few hours. Have you already forgotten? Bitcoin goes up and down multiple time during the day, and yes the price can be stopped anytime and we are going to see it again before November How did you know that? Honestly prediction for bitcoin is randomly and we do not know what will be the price of bitcoin after few months.. But i notice bitcoin movement right now is different from last year or years ago.. the movement of the price this year is really different compare before.. The movement of bitcoin right now are fast that i think bitcoin can be increase continuesly until bitcoin trends are still trending.. Base in what i experience in pump and dump it is just like a churn and burn. if you really want to make profit with it you should be early and if you seen the price increase sell it and never buy back again just to make sure you already made profit and save your investment.. Because those altcoin are honestly turn into no value in the end the same what happen to me when trying reinvested again into altcoin..
So be careful much better to go in other altcoin which is already live for a long time. like ethreum litecoin monero.. and mostly better to stay with bitcoin..

I think like other said it can be happen because this year is different from past few years ago the movement is continues increase and we didn't experience any trading site was down or hacked and we are seeing the more price increase i am happy that the movement of the price really different from the past few years.. so i think this speculation can be happen in 2024 or more..

Hey guys
So currently iv started playing with crypto about a month ago, and can afford to put around $100 a week into it. Iv made some investments into OMG, NEO, PAY, IOTA, ETC and XRP.
My question is, should i still be working my way to gaining 1 BTC first before anything? Price is so high right now and i have no idea how its possible when i can invest so little, hence why im just playing with the alt coins for now.
Any tips on what i should change? or what i should keep doing??

As many have already commented I'd suggest going 50/50, see bitcoin as a secure long term investment and alt coins as risky short investments. You need to stablish exits; for example If given alt-coin has given me more than 110% profitability, then I sell as soon as the price drops (exit on 100% profitability). Of course I've regret on selling several coins that went up 600-700% but is a secure way of duplicating my money. This is much good idea better to 50/50 if you really don't want to lose the benefits you can get in bitcoin better to invest too in bitcoin while you are trading with other altcoin.. so that you can get benefits of the price increase just what happen today the price was increase again that i think you can make more profit if you both trading. For me honestly i just put my invest in bitcoin 70% and only 30% in cryptocurrency because there are sometimes that altcoin increase more high than bitcoin and altcoin is really cheap than bitcoin if you started with altcoin . |

Honestly it is hard to check the site if its scam or not but if you are just seen there is an investment plan just like the other said that cloud mining and ponzi scheme are scam site there is no legit site that you can seen that they are giving free money online.. If its not a ponzi or cloud mining site there is other way just test the site first and if you get withdraw and the site is active then it could be legit.. you will never know if the site is scam if you didn't test it..

Just buy the dips, sell for usd (or other fiat), then buy back in...rinse and repeat?

Well are you sure with this? You dont want to touch the alts? Why not? It can give you unlimited income as you do trading with alts. Just deposit your btc to bittrex or any other exchanges then buy good coins. Then sell it if the price is at its peak. But better to have proper readings about the coins that you want. Or if you dont really want alts, you can earn btc in signature campaigns and faucet. But doing this will take some time. Not easy as that because there are altcoin aren ot actually can gives you a good profit but if you are lucky to choose an altcoin that can gives you a good profit you can make more profit if you sell it in good price.. For now if you really want to make a profit in trading altcoins better to choose high market cap which is can stay for long in the market and youu can wait for the price can be burst increase.. unlike new altcoin releases in the market cap that really not profitable because mostly new release altcoin are scam so if you are wise choosing altcoin it can gives you huge price profit because there are altcoin new release that can burst price increase but in the end it can be scam so don't be greedy if you already made a profit and exchange it then invest to other altcoin.. |

Hey there, I have a transaction that is unconfirmed for a very long time now after transferring from CoinExchange to Bittrex. How long will I have to wait for the BTC to get sent back to my CoinExchange address? Do I have to wait for the other transaction to pass first? Mine is the 0.5 BTC one btw.

You've got 19 confirmations already and I hate myself for seeing your transaction get confirmed and you only paid 0.0009911 BTC while I paid more but my transaction is not yet confirmed and I guess it is stuck. I do really need those coins already but there's nothing I can do with it but to with it on how miners will confirm it. Maybe this transaction was send for a long time and he received it right now and confirmed almost 25 confirmation i just noticed that he just pay small fee where i think 5 hours or more should be receive the transaction according to bitcoinfees. since the network is really slow transaction it takes longer if you are just paying small amount since miners priority is to choose high fee for every transaction.. I the transaction got 1,116 minutes before confirmed that i think is really less than the estimated time.. |

You can do research so you can know if the bitcoin price possible to increase or it will decrease but you cant get exact what happen you only get some information and you are only to spec what possible to happen. But For me bitcoin price will increase more because for sure many inew investor will invest to the bitcoin and possible price of bitcoin in the month of september is 5000 dollars.
I think you don't need to research here about the news because bitcoin is obvious that can be increase more if you are holding bitcoins from before and until now you know that bitcoin is continues to increase that i think the price of bitcoin can be increase more soon.. so if you not invest today you can't make any good profit or you will just lose the opportunity to make profit.. True, I never know where is the dip. I just wait days, lost my pattience and then think that is the dip, and buy right there, just to see it falling again. Actually $4100 seems to be the floor. Market is just taking time before it goes high. But I might be wrong. There is no dip happen since there are many newbies trying to make a thread that bitcoin is dying just to try to panic sell bitcoin they can't buy cheap bitcoin right now because of the improvement added and now the segwit activation was activated done from few hours ago i think we will see much more price increase these coming days instead of the price dip.. Well the movement of the price right now are normal so i don't think if it is good to sell bitcoin instead if we seen the price down better to buy just to make more investment and sell when the price increases more.. |

As a beginner honestly i just started with small amount before i become to be good trader i experience first of loses before i can make a good profit in trading.. For a starter i think poloniex is enough to trade with altcoin but there are only limited altcoin to choose so if you want to learn widely better to check other exchange site just look in the https://coinmarketcap.com and choose an altcoin which you want to trade after you click you can see the statistic of the altcoin and you can click the market where you can see all trading site that you can trade with.. But first just choose an exchange site which is well know and you can relay here in this thread. |
