Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin + Exchanges = ?
|
on: August 13, 2016, 11:13:32 PM
|
With all the hacks and manipulation going on are exchanges even a good idea?
It isn't panning out all that well for Wall Street.
Why is Bitcoin any different?
Apart from selling them (which is still an exchange) then there's no way of increasing the value of Bitcoin. There are always vulnerabilities in systems. Only exchanges with valid insurance should be trusted, as others would be more vulnerable to you losing your coins. Exchanges are what makes bitcoin valuable, if we were without them, the bitcoin price would dramatically fall and cause instability in the bitcoin network and could even end the circulation of Bitcoin or its use in the modern society. Yeah right only exchanger can decide what will be the price of the currency.. thats why we are experience of hacking because i think they are monitored by hackers that it takes a long time recording of cookies or the ip of the site is the biggest problem that this is new tools of hackers that i saw before from a deepweb forum.. they are using this tool to monitor a site if someone login there they can get the cookies and they will use a third party to convert the cookies into a password..

Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Skill Work?

It only helps a bit in sports bets. You can't have or use any skills in purely luck dependent games like dice games. As i said, you either lucky or not when you play dice. Sports betting is a bit different though. You can study teams, players, managers and after your studies you may come to a conclusion about the winning team. Now, that study takes serious skills. Still, it doesn't guarantee anything, only helps a little.
You nailed it dude. You still need a luck even if its a skill based games simply because it is gambling. If your a skilled player it doesnt mean that you will win it is just you have a bit of advantage. Yeah you should still need to have a luck in skills base games.. because every thing in gambling are need luck because its a card game or sports betting. Almost all in gambling are needs luck in order to win even that game needs skills.

I think there is no legit investment site.. but the best the you can do if you have a good amount of bitcoin start trading bitcoin to usd and usd to bitcoin.. that method is more safe than the other if you buy altcoin that you did know if it will stay or not..

Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will go up this week
|
on: August 07, 2016, 02:09:37 PM
|
The price has only been going down in the past few weeks. I hope it goes up to a steady 600$ - 640$ in the next week. The drop is not very dangerous though, we will see a steady price over 600$ soon, it is slowly but surely recovering from the drop, nothing to be worried about.
Well just lets hope that it will happen but honestly thats why the price is increasing because many people are believing in bitcoin that it will increase again back.. this is just bitfinex issue thats why the price of bitcoin is decreases.. but even the price is erase many investors are waiting for the low price thats why the price of bitcoin is not decrease instead its increasing again back..

I am spending it online sometimes and also on gambling as there is no other way to spend bitcoins at a moment and so majority of them I am saving for future.
So you can earn bitcoin and translate into dollars for example and spend on anything. I think there are still plenty of options for spending bitcoin. not just on gambling. You can still shop at amazon to buy giftcard using bitcoin. and you can buy anything there Anyway bitcoin advantageous to buy goods only because of the fact, not to spend more money on interest, if one were to get cash. And so, I see bitcoin as a means to earn money. Here in my country bitcoin is adopting and we can use our bitcoin to pay for monthly bills like electricity and water bills we can also use bitcoin for remittances to any location in our country the other advantage here in my country is we can use bitoin to exchange into giftard to use in malls..

I look forward of having more than 100 btc, price of each will go up to about $2000 for a bitcoin ....when i get to this point... Will want to invest of owning a large company..
Well this is really going to be good to consider as being a rich person. I hope that is going to happen to me. But of course I need to work hard for it. Without hard work even not in bitcoin you are going to be rich. And it is really good to consider about the unstable price of bitcoin. And if the value is going to fluctuate to $2,000 and you are holding hundreds of bitcoin then you are really going to be considered as rich bitcoin man. Yeah right it needs har work to able you reach your dream. also dont stay at one work be a multi tasker an savings is one of the best to do if we are making a lot of bitcoin we need to save for our future..

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

give it a rest.
both can survive in this world,
eth forked pissed off a lot of people, face it.
etc is the original blockchain, truth
now lets watch this play out and remember that bitcointalk is full of shitty, greedy people that would sell their mothers to gain status
peace
ETC could survive as a mineable coin, like many small altcoins. But not many big business will support it. If it is not supported by business, it will be like many other scam coins. It will be dead very soon. So it is a pump and dump coin now. The price of the ETC has not risen in the last few days. And the volume is also decreasing. Does it mean people are losing interest? Honestly there is no interesting in that coin its just 2.0 of ETH but eth still remain in the second in bitcoin in the top 100 places.. Also some etc i think are converting back again in ethereum,..

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before and After the Halving.
|
on: August 07, 2016, 01:19:37 PM
|
expectation about price bitcoin after halving over value is much people buy much bitcoin before halving before halving bitcoin price is high value so after halving you can see price bitcoin not up go the moon
No it isn't. There's no instant result for whatever normal bitcoin event. It will just become instant if we can see whales movement. Bitcoin halving effect if goes in a normal way, will takes time to see the effect. many people says that the effect of the halving will be after a few months more. as of now, the value of bitcoin is decreasing but i know that it will recover soon and will increase its value again The effect of the halving could be felt 12 to 18 months after the halving. As the demand will be higher then. Please, teach me about the detailed reason is supporting abut your statement because I feel just making expectation without a reliable data or source is useless in my minds. make another people is over hoping with that. If you look at the price chart in 2012 to 2013. The halving happened in October 2012, the price was $12. In October 2013, the price was $400. So what suppose do you mean? you are relaying in the old graph to the present chart? honestly the price of bitcoin its normal that the price is dropping is normal because bitcoin is unpredictable. and the price of bitcoin is always depens in demand and supply..

Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you expect prices to fall
|
on: August 07, 2016, 11:40:28 AM
|
I don't know if this is too early to be said but, it seems people are immune to exchange hackings from now on. Yeah we saw a major dump after bitfinex hack but that dump is done by the hackers. And the prices bounced back to where it was before, well almost.
The only thing remains which can stop bitcoin is getting banned from major countries like Russia, China, Usa...
I think this is just like the same as before every year.. if you notice from 2015 crypsy is one of the exchange hack but the truth we didn't know if they are telling the truth or they are just lying.. we dont know if the trading site is hack by someone. They have always a reason that their site is hack the same as mtgox cryptsy better to dont trust them net always withdraw your balance in any trading site..

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen?
|
on: August 07, 2016, 11:31:40 AM

what proportion of bitcoin is actually spent? i'm gonna guess that it's not very much. using it for shopping and all is cool but i think it's a little bit of a sideshow. most of the action is trading it and speculating.
the bigger question is if no one speculates on bitcoin what might happen?
Same thing: the Bitcoin collapse would take place. Just like Gold, Silver and all the others: magnates are taking care of them, so they will rise or fall whenever they want to. Yes. Other currency will take over bitcoin. That will be bad because maybe if that will happen in the future, maybe bitcoin will be dumped at trading sites. It won't be happen in the future because its already use by many countries and bitcoin is already adopted here in my country We can use bitcoin to use in malls but it needs to convert to giftcard before we can use in malls in any shops inside the mall...

Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ?
|
on: August 07, 2016, 11:23:50 AM
|
I generally buy bitcoin because of its unstable price nature and also its flexible and compact ways of exchanging.
Well the price of bitcoin now is keep on rising so I guess if you are going to buy bitcoin the right time is to buy at low price. Don't wait for it to increase so that you aren't going to feel sorry when its too late. It is very easy to remember that always buy at low price and don't wait for it to raise to higher price. The bitcoin price might trade around $580 for a few more weeks. After that, it will rise to around $660. This is a good time to buy bitcoins right now because the price is gradually increasing the price from the past 2 ays is 580 and now the price is 587 so i think it will increase more if you buy more bitcoins in your wallet..
