7021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One in Four Bitcoin Nodes Are Now Upgraded for SegWit on: November 12, 2016, 06:32:38 PM
Bitcoin network data shows that 25% of nodes worldwide are now running code for Segregated Witness.
Very impressive quick improvement which shows that bitcoin network is moving toward a more secure mode that is in the best interest of all bitcoin users. I have not upgraded yet but at least I have been influence by this news and will try to upgrade my full node.
7022  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Help me choose a bitcoin wallet. on: November 11, 2016, 03:47:54 PM
I've been searching for wallets and I'm not sure which to use.

My situation:
I want to try gambling on Fortune Jack. If i win something I'm simply going to cash out and never use bitcoin again, the same if i lose. Or maybe ill gamble again every once in a little while. But that's practically the full extent of my use for bitcoin.

So based on my personal use of bitcoin, what would be the best wallet for me?
I'm new to bitcoin in general so if someone could explain the process of selling as well, i would appreciate it.
Peace//
Better try use block.io , they do not have issues based on where the bitcoin is coming from but if you try use online wallet like coinbase  that may land you into serious trouble that your money could get lost at the the end because they hate gambling activities.
7023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legalization of Marijuana in US can BTC help sell weeds? on: November 11, 2016, 03:36:43 PM
Marijuana has a long and sorted relationship with the American legal system. At the turn of the 20th century, cannabis was one of the nation’s top elixirs and cure-alls, but over the last couple of generations, laws and regulations have made it a legal nightmare. It is treated as harshly as heroine and accounts for a large chunk of America’s 2.5 million citizens in prison.

On Tuesday, in addition to Donald Trump’s upset victory, Marijuana was legalized for use in seven out of eight states there was a voting referendum (Arizona defeated it.) This is a good start, but that is only half the battle. Can Bitcoin help with what comes next?
The biggest problem here is as the marijuanna is legalized most people will not use it for the medical benefit but would rather abuse everything which will consequently lead to serious social vices. Using bitcoin for the transaction will help the a lot but we do not wish to see bitcoin use in a bad things.
7024  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Do you have any problems with your online wallet on: November 11, 2016, 12:14:16 PM
I am using blockchain.info wallet and I am not facing any peculiar problems with them yet. Even I will face any in future, I will simply export and import my private keys into another wallet types and hopefully I will not have any problems with my savings.
7025  Economy / Economics / Re: What a great step by Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi..!! on: November 11, 2016, 04:14:17 AM
For Bitcoin investors have no worry...Because Bitcoin is most safe and secure digital currency in universe.
India's move is a perfect example for problems associated with centralized things. I do not see any greatness in this move, because there will not be any guarantee for no more black economy in longer haul.
7026  Economy / Services / Re: Want to make some real legit money? on: November 10, 2016, 05:13:55 PM
2K satoshis weekly?  Cheesy

I think you are just looking for some easy referrals here... This is a kind of site which promises a lot of returns, but don't explain how they make profit, what you really need to do to earn money... Looks like a ponzi for me.
I do not even want to check their link. In recent times, I come across about a telegram based faucet, they paid for first day then they block me from using them, be enable back I must need to buy their packs/upgrades. Ponzis/scams are innovative now a days.
7027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading Crypto- Currencies Is Dead... on: November 10, 2016, 04:40:02 PM
No, it is totally different case for an altcoin trader. We are having lot of choices and following latest news and speculation I am able to pick the right pair for a particular day. Maybe when sticking within bitcoin, you may not find opportunity to trade for one or other days.
7028  Economy / Services / Re: BUILDING CI TEAM = Join, Invest and Get $5 Dollar on: November 10, 2016, 10:46:47 AM
then buy GOLD PACK that cost $25.

then I will give you $5 as rewards thru PAYZA.
How I will recover my rest of $20 if I happen to buy a pack there. Do I need to build a team similar to what you are doing right now ? My team buys packs so I will recover my investments, right ?
7029  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin: The Black Swan on: November 09, 2016, 05:47:31 PM
Then Bitcoin may have back fired on "them". The darknet market prefers to use Bitcoin and it is growing. The regulations "they" have imposed is what subsidised Bitcoin if you get what I mean. Drugs, stolen goods, fake goods, and all other unregulated, illegal items could now be bought online using Bitcoin. Bitcoin is making those illegal markets online possible and easier to participate in.
Even all are true that bitcoin is still very important to our lives. Bitcoin is not meant purposely to aid those illegal trading but to provide privacy and free to all transaction we perfom, it depends on individual how and for what they used bitcoin for.
7030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Announcing Bitcoin Black Friday 5. on: November 09, 2016, 05:35:48 PM
Please make sure that fake sites are identified on the day. We have seen scam sites pop up like mushrooms during this period and lots of people lost

money because of this. This puts a damper on the whole initiative, when things like this happens. We should have one site managing these specials,

to make sure that they are legit. Just a heads up...  Roll Eyes
Yes, I just remember what happened last year with a company who promoted their black Friday offer with signature campaign. We all need to be very carefull at the way we trade when thse typs of offers are announced to the bitcoin users. Hope everyone will act with extra care.
7031  Economy / Economics / Re: How To Invest in a Blockchain Startup on: November 09, 2016, 05:27:23 PM

How are you investing in [Suspicious link removed]panies and crypto?
By just following this community's recommendations. Usually people open a service discussion or general discussion for most of the promising projects. I believe that you are not asking about ICO or altcoin investments.
7032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On US Elections... on: November 09, 2016, 04:38:11 PM
Is there anyone betting on US Elections

ODDS

Hilary Clinton - @1.22
Donald Trump - @4.50
Donald Trump wins the crown and he already a new commander in cheif of United States of America godbless America and all muslims out there Cry feel bad for yah people hoping that our president and the newly elected president in US will be good to each other.
Come on every make such statements that feel harsh for a particular religion but not surely he is going to follow it, I think. The big surprise is that before voting if you ask anyone they were not just sure of Clinton's win but also they said that Trump does not DESERVE to win, and now he has won.
7033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The origin of bitcoin on: November 09, 2016, 04:13:02 PM
We are all Satoshi Nakamoto and the creator is of no significance for the majority of us. We see the potential of the technology and look past the

creator. So, he comes back and sell his/her coins and the price drops to $200 or $20 ..... Loads of people start buying again and the cycle continue.

The technology is more important than the person that created it.  Wink
But the person who created it too worth to be considered or celebrated. We must pay respect to him for the technology from which all of us are benefiting today. My sincere respect to Satosh Nakomoto will be there always.
7034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best bitcoin wallet for online gambling? on: November 08, 2016, 07:41:07 AM
Whatever happened to Bitcoin Core, Armory, Electrum, Multibit?

Also, most wallets that give you full control over your bitcoins (as in addresses) generally doesn't give a damn what you do with your bitcoins.
I guess OP is missing in title to ask as best "web wallet" provider for online gambling.

Obviously stand alone wallets are as per bitcoin ecosystem's core concept : freedom. We can use them anywhere.
7035  Economy / Services / Re: [Fra.me] on: November 08, 2016, 05:29:05 AM
From the site, I understand I need to run my apps in your server and I will be getting them accessed any where through browser, then is it highly similar to accessing my personal computer from office in browser but with the help of logmein type of remote access tools ?
7036  Economy / Services / Re: sms verification service on: November 07, 2016, 05:46:06 PM
I am also planning to offer such verification services as I already have plenty of numbers which are capable of receiving both sms and voice calls. I plan up a versatile services which covers members here in this forum round the clock. If we both from different time zones and you like partnering with me kindly let me know.
Covering all time zone must be a right idea, but for that going for a website with fully automated process must be a right solution. If your budget permits, build a service with fully automated processes rather than relying on manual competency.
7037  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to buy and then sell $30k in BTC on: November 07, 2016, 04:40:36 PM
localbitcoins.com is your best option.
you will be meeting with users selling it for a price though. but sure its one of the safest to be anonymous online still. Its a huge about, seller will be suspicious though.
For $30k, to deal in person you might need more time as you may need more sellers. Some exchanges support dealing in huge volume but requires verification, kraken cex.io and btc-e are few of them.

To avoid many complications (document verification and taxes), I do suggest to deal in person but small amount at a time is the complexity in that.
7038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reports of China Banning Bitcoin Are Greatly Exaggerated on: November 07, 2016, 01:50:33 PM
As many have speculated there will be some price correction after this almost 15% price pump within last few week however price correction came after this chinese FUD. This have stopped the price growth this time however market may need some rest to see another pump again.

Hype/FUD is everywhere and whales always try to play with sentiments of weak hand traders and from this hoax they have successfully fooled the weak hands who sold their bitcoin to whales (strong hand) in cheaper price. Even the news without any source made a big impact on market which has even become reason for others to panic.
That is true, it is those selfish big traders who used to create that tension in the mind of small traders who have limited knowledge on trading. Even when I heard the news for the first time, I never take it to be serious so it is in no way affected me.
7039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which currency is good as bitcoin?? on: November 07, 2016, 01:14:37 PM
In the last few days, the coin is almost as good as bitcoin just appeared. It is the ZCash, it is more expensive.
ZCash is one coin I will NEVER advice anyone to buy .. because the price is expected to go lower and lower as the people mine and sell it. It started with 50 bitcoins and now its around 1 BTC ( well, might be less or more since its price fluctuates too quickly ).
