Steve Smith has been sent home for a rest so he won't be playing any further part in the ODI series and T20 matches against Sri Lanka. This will create a big hole in Australia's batting line up as in my opinion he was the best preforming batsman on this tour of Sri Lanka for Australia in both test and the 2 ODI matches. I think Sri Lanka will now have a big chance to win the ODI series with Smith now missing.
8842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Open 2016 - Thoughts and Tips on: August 26, 2016, 05:20:54 AM
I think Del Potro @21 is pretty good odds and may surprise a lot of people. He is in good form and he has proven that he can play well at the US Open as he has won this tournament in the past beating Roger Federer. I'll be putting a small amount on him to win. I agree with most people here that Novak is at good odds and I also think he is the one to beat @2.12 on DirectBet.
I don't follow tennis too much but I never heard of Del Potro before. What titles has he won in the past?
Has he won at the US Open before?

Well as I said Juan Martin Del Potro has won the US Open before way back in 2009 when he defeated Roger Federer. All up he has won 18 career titles and has also won 2 Olympic medals a bronze medal in the London Olympics and Silver in the Rio Olympics where he lost to Andy Murray. So as I said he is in good form leading up to the US Open and has won here before.

Quote
Why is direct bet offering lower odds at 2.12 instead of 2.2 as Carles pointed out?

Well maybe because people are betting on Novak to win now so the odds are going to shorten and also I don't know which sportsbook was paying 2.20 I was just stating that DirectBet has Novak @2.12
8843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the easiest sport to win bets at? on: August 26, 2016, 05:08:57 AM
I normally do very well and end up in profit at the end of the season betting on AFL which is Australian football. Out of the last 10 seasons I have made a good profit in 9/10. My first season I didn't make a profit as I was still learning and picking the right bets to put on. I gave this current season a rest as I had other things to concentrate my time and money on. But I'm seriously thinking about getting back into it next season as this season is almost over, just 1 round of football left. As many people have said pick the sport you know and have experience with or you will loose most times then not.

I may even start a topic for AFL next year for people to follow and good news is that DirectBet takes bets on AFL football.
8844  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: August 26, 2016, 04:54:09 AM
If anyone is interested I'm paying for ACTIVE freebitco.in refferals.

Just check my topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1584971.0

@Wetsuit I think the minimum exchange reward points to BTC is too high.100,000 RP is too high and most of us will never achieve that.10,000 minimum would be very fair.

I agree that the reward points to BTC is way too high for most people even for people who have some active referrals it is way too high and should be lowered to around 10,000 to 20,000 reward points to BTC. I hope the dev listens to our suggestions and maybe the dev can create a poll on this and see what people vote for.

Is staking going to be affected by this fork and wallet update? I know the reward dropped in half, but other than that? I noticed the network weight has dropped substantially over the past 24 hours does that affect it?

network weight dropped because older versions of the wallet are being rejected by the new wallet. so anyone that didnt update their wallets are currently on the older blockchain and their weight doesnt add to the network weight anymore

Thanks for clearing this up for everyone. My staking is working fine and it also looks like the 1337 wallet on POSWallet is also working fine as I also have some coins staking on there so I don't always have to leave my laptop running.
8846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 10-1000 Euro challenge, only small bets!!! on: August 26, 2016, 12:09:08 AM
I have seen this type of challenge done before and it does work. I followed a tipster on Facebook for over 2 years and in that time he got at least 3 to 5 wins every year but now he stopped doing them. In the end I made a nice little profit from this kind of betting. It just takes patients, I will try this challenge and hopefully we can make some good profit.

Good luck OP and everyone who is going to be giving this challenge a try.

Some interesting Champions League groups drawn today. Man City, Barcelona, B Monchengladbach, Celtic looks particularly interesting, could be some great games there.

Its gonna be very interesting
Cant wait to start

I'm still convinced barcelona qualify  Smiley Man City, BB Monchengladbach, Celtic not the right team for barcelona  Barcelona are still several levels above
I just wanted to see Leicester city really curious to see their performance compete with new teams. For other great teams I'm sure they get a place in the group.

Yes I think Barcelona should qualify easily out of the group stage and I also think Manchester City will also get through just fine. I can't wait for this to start to see Pep up against his former team Barcelona. Manchester City seem to be very unlucky when it comes to Champions League as they have always had it tough except for last season but the seasons before that they always had to face Barcelona either in the group stage or knock out stage and they could never win. Will this time be any different now that they have Pep?

Leicester City and Tottenham are in winnable groups and I can see both teams getting through. Group D is another interesting group to watch. I can't wait for this season Champions League to start.

8850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRESScoin STS GEN-2 on its way, SPORTSBETTING[ANN] on: August 25, 2016, 11:11:45 PM
YoBit My tranferencia STS is written : ' Transfer from cold storage ' I could not talk to Dominik yet. Does anyone here know if it will be normalized automatically.

Same thing happened to me when I went to withdraw my coins the other day and now when I check to see if they have been transferred to my wallet the withdrawal has been cancelled and the coins returned back to my Yobit account. So it looks like we can't withdraw STS coins from Yobit at the moment.

Does anyone have any information on why we can't withdraw from Yobit at the moment?
Yobit might not have any STS coins anymore .....

Yobit might not have any STS coins anymore .....

Let Yobit compensate us for the STS

If that's the case then this is not very good. I had to sell my STS because I still could not withdraw my coins and just went over to C-cex and purchased the same amount I had on Yobit and transferred them to my wallet without any issues. I did loose some money in fees but I wanted to have my STS in my wallet.

As I said in a previous post this was my first time betting on your tips and even though I lost, I understand that there are days like this so it doesn't really worry me too much. Hopefully we the next lot of tips we can make up for tonight's loss. I know it can be hard picking the right bets when it comes to football and when it qualifiers it makes it even harder. For example I was sure West Ham would win at home but they lost. Good luck with your next lot of tips.

Thanks for tonight's tips Joca, it will be my first time taking your tips as I just come across your topic here. Looks as though you have a pretty good strike rate when it comes to football tips so I decided to give you a try and see if I can win some money. Good luck and I ope we all make some good profit on tonight's tips.

Looks like the BitBean offical faucet is starting to get a lot of interest now which is great to see. Over 750 payouts already with the average payout at just a little over 15 BitBean's. It would be great if some of these claims from people have also decided that they liked the coin and purchased some coins to stake.

strong contaider grand slam US open
is man
number one rank ATP novack djokovic still is number one containder
second place is champion olympic game andy muray
and third placed containder is roger federer

Roger Federer is out with an injury so he won't be playing at this years US Open. I still like Novak Djokovic to win the US Open, forget his Olympic loss as it seemed he was carrying an injury and wasn't 100% right. So I expect him to come back strong here and he should be close to 100% I would like to see his first match and see how he is looking before placing a bet on him to win the US Open. I think Murray will be Novak's main danger, I did like Kei Nishikori in the Olympics he played some great tennis and if he can bring that form here he might be a good bet at odds. I have my doubts about Nadal playing on hard courts but you never know. It's going to be a great tournament and I just hope Nick Kyrgios does well as I am from Australia. He does have the talent to win a major but not sure if it will be this year, maybe next year.

Do I sense a moon shot soon?
any good reason?

Yes, actually!

I've been holding this secret close... but, Krypton is coming out with a one-click wallet solution... very soon!

It will even feature the ability to create paper wallets!

So, be excited!

Next in store is a web wallet.

Development is progressing!

I am excited now that you mentioned a web wallet. I've been patiently waiting for months now for a web wallet and can't wait until it is released. Yes development is progressing nicely here, Keep up the good work dev!

stiven siegel? will chic nurris in your team? Grin

lol

You guys are too funny!  Grin  Tongue  Cheesy

All joking aside, you may have noticed that Bittrex had KR offline for a little while today. Wallets are still disabled but, you can actively trade again if you already have an account.

The issue seems to be with 1 transaction, on or about the time of a 20k sell this afternoon. Both Bittrex and Krypton devs are trying to resolve why we see differences in what the Krypton explorer 1.0 and Krypton explorer 2.0 say. When we resync the chain we have another answer too! We're in detective mode over this one transaction! All of us.

So, don't worry. Your KR at Bittrex is safe. You have not lost any KR. We're just trying to find out why this one transaction is wonky. Wink

I'll update you all tomorrow. Meanwhile, enjoy any cheap KR you can catch! Wink

Thanks for the update covertress and hopefully it won't take too long to sort out that one transaction. I've been lucky enough to pick up some cheap KR and since then the price is back up to over 30,000 sats. But I don't sell and just buy on the dips.

I'm not selling at all and have been buying some cheap XAUR thanks to the ones dumping. Some people don't have patience and just sell at any price. I'm holding for the long term because not only do I believe in the coin but I also believe the gold price will rise in the future.
8859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ★☆★ Brazilian Soccer Predictions Thread ★☆★ on: August 25, 2016, 12:42:42 AM
There are 4 matches in Copa do Brasil tonight.

Atletico-PR - Gremio
Both sides are similar. It could go either way, Gremio is a little better side but Atletico have home side advantage. I'll pass that game.

Santos - Vasco da Gama
Don't think too much, typical Santos win @ 1.52 odds.

Atletico-MG - Ponte Preta
I read somewhere that this match will go First Half 0 Full Time 1 but I don't trust the source yet. Let's see, if it wins I'll share more picks from same source.

Sao Paulo - Juventude
It will be one sided match. Sao Paulo @ 1.26 is okay to play. I don't challenge bigger odds for this match.

I know you said that you don't trust that source yet on the Atletico-MG Vs Ponte Preta game but I decided to put on a bet for under 1.5 goals in the first half @1.41 so lets see if I get it. I was going to take under 0.5 goals for the first half @2.84 but I went safe with under 1.5 goals. I don't really trust the Brazilian Leagues lol and this is my first time betting on the football in Brazil.
8860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin [BURST] Price Speculation on: August 25, 2016, 12:16:08 AM
So there is what chart are saying :

Huge compression of price level with strong accumulation sign, whale are accumulating your coin keeping it low, but the beast should be unlashed soon.
buy them cheap while they are, I am personnaly thinking very strongly to do so.

EDIT: maybe actual price is not going to be to best entry point in the future, you have to choose when to buy.

Now is the time to buy before the price starts rising. Well it has been rising the past few days but hasn't broken out as of yet. I think all that will change once the PR campaign starts. I will be buying all the way up to 100 sats and try and accumulate as much Burst as I can at these levels and invest it into the assets. One of my family members just purchased a nice amount of assets yesterday and is looking at buying a lot more next week.
