@haitch: thanks for your answer in detail! I will post this experience as instructive money Wink Btw, i cannot understand people cheating for a few bucks, but so are the people.

@IncludeBeer: http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/topic/1111/scam-burstvest

I recieved a payment on 04/09/2016, but as you can read there are some hints that is all the some user with different kind of assets. I will be happy if its not true, but "it stinks to the sky". The only thing that will proof that is to watch the continous of payments.

Yes we can wait to see if we get paid any dividends but the person who released the assets should speak up and defend himself if it's not true and so far no update from that person or any post so I'm starting to think that it might be a scam which is a shame because it can tarnish the community and we don't want that happening here because we have a great community and dev team. And also people have invested a lot of Burst into these assets.

This is great news Phil and the more charities we get on board the better as it helps expose COXST to more people and potential investors and people who like to donate to charities. I'll be tweeting this to my twitter followers to help spread the word on this achievement.

Well for me I'm just waiting for DGB to go above 100 sats and then I'm out but I'm not even sure we'll see 100 sats because every time it looks like getting anywhere near there it is then dumped. 70-80 sats seems to be the best it can do in the past couple of months.
8684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CJ] CryptoJacksCoin-X13 POW/POS| CJ ICO Round #5 in Progress !!! on: September 12, 2016, 07:25:27 AM
Guys there is a situation ... However the issue is neither big to worry nor small to deny.... We have lost the bankroll at wealthy dice amounting to 11.5 million (hardly 3% of cj supply) the cost of which is approximately around 4-6 btc and I believe it was some insiders job. As we are still awaiting logs from auto back up of hoster we cannot single on a particular person..,  good thing is we learnt the lesson when we are about to expand .. So good thing is we strengthen our security and restrict access to only few ... We are soon changing our host . There will be some effect on price currently but I believe our hard work will get back things to normality .. Sorry again for the confusion created however we will swim across the tide and do best in coming days
Nice to see you are still active and giving efforts and doing your best... your supporters are also appreciable that they are still holding the coins.
hope you guys figure this out so soon.

That's right we are 100% behind you dev and will keep supporting you and the coin. I know we will be back on track soon and in the meantime I picked up a few more cheap CJ coins to stake. Keep doing the best you can dev and I know it will pay off big time in the future.

I am reading on the Asset Forum that the BurstVest-Asset from DDOS is a probable scam. Why did noone talking here talking about? I know vella invested "heavy" in this one. Is it verified or what are the reasons for calling this a scam? Buying some more just a few days ago. This fucking shit of scam disrupts cryptocurrency. Angry Angry

The whole scam unraveled after user "username" posted a picture of his supposed miner that was backing his "UMine Big Dual Mining Asset". http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/topic/1289/scam-umine-big-dual-mining-asset Someone noticed that there were Cyrillic labels on the shelves behind this rig that was supposedly in Lansing, Michigan. Some Google Image searching showed this was a picture from a system review done in Russia. "Username" was never seen again after that. One of the other forums members, gpedro, did some digging and found that several assets, all run by "different" users,  were all transferring the asset purchase funds to the same Poloniex account.  These included:

- The gDaily asset http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/topic/1294/scam-new-gdaily-asset/36 run by "goody"
- the Kmining asset http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/topic/1251/scam-new-kmining-asset/6 run by KevinFML

With this knowledge that these assets were most likely scams - and I have to say, good scam. He actually paid out in the beginning. - I dug deeper. I pulled the account info for all the forum users, then wrote an app to flag different users that were sharing the same IP addresses. This showed that Username/Goody/KevinFML were only three of the nineteen accounts this person created. One of those nineteen accounts was "ddos", who had launched the BurstVest asset about a month earlier.

I'll be taking a closer look at any asset issuers from now on, and if any raise red flags, then I'll post in the asset thread.

My post from the forums:

Quote
Well it seems our scammer was a very busy individual. He has/had 19 accounts, one of which I banned for spamming. A little bit of digging into the guy shows: It looks like he attends Louisiana Tech, has an AT&T phone, has Suddenlink Communications as an ISP, uses a VPN called NorthGhost and possibly has a virtual server with a firm called LogicWeb. Anyone wishing to dig further, go for it.

The accounts are, well were, they'll all be banned soon:

Username: "158.69.119.171","196.53.32.12","173.217.226.92"
Goody: "158.69.119.171"
KevinFML: "196.53.32.11","158.69.119.171","173.217.226.92","173.30.217.79","138.47.157.205"
ddos: "158.69.119.171","173.217.226.92","173.30.217.79","107.77.199.80"
ThatGuy: "158.69.119.171"
BITOPPERTUNITIES: "173.217.226.92"
Bum: "173.217.226.92"
Burst: "173.217.226.92"
BusyBee: "173.217.226.92"
FinalBurst: "173.217.226.92"
HamsterMuffin: "173.217.226.92"
InternetOfHub: "173.30.217.79","173.217.226.92"
Jerry: "173.217.226.92"
MuffinMan: "173.217.226.92"
PancakeFlipper: "173.217.226.92"
Physical: "173.217.226.92"
Queasy: "173.217.226.92"
Significant: "173.217.226.92"
Wandering: "173.217.226.92"

If the ddos name seems familiar, its because he launched the BurstVest asset about a month ago. Although there have been some payments from the asset, it has to be assumed it's also a scam.

Given that 173.217.226.92 maps back to a Louisiana ISP, one of the other addresses is a Louisiana Tech WiFi, it's pretty unlikely that these shared addresses are a coincidence, and "ddos" using two of the same IP's as "username" seals it.

ddos is/was a scammer.

H.

Thanks for all the info haitch and for also keeping us members informed here. I do get on the Burst forum every now and then but I'm more active here as I'm involved with many different Altcoins. I think from now on I'll just stick with the Burst team assets as we can trust them 100% and also they pay decent dividends anyway so I'm happy to just stick with them for now.

Has anyone recently withdrawn any MOIN from the C-cex exchange and not have any issues? because I have been trying for the past few hours and every time I get a timeout error while it's trying to transfer the coins into my wallet. I have posted this issue on their topic so I hope I get a reply soon because I want to start staking these coins.

I am trying to try some MOIN coins at the moment but when I click transfer and wait for a couple of minutes I get a timeout error 524 so I can't even withdraw my coins. I have tried a number of times already waiting over 1 hour each time I try again but the same thing. Is anyone else having any issues withdrawing coins from here?
8688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Open 2016 - Thoughts and Tips on: September 12, 2016, 12:28:06 AM
It's over Wawrinka wins the US Open, a big congrats to Wawrinka on winning his 3rd Grand Slam title. And now he has won 3 of the 4 Grand Slam titles, just missing the Wimbledon title which I think he can win. It was a great match but Wawrinka was just too good for Novak on the day.
8689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Open 2016 - Thoughts and Tips on: September 12, 2016, 12:07:16 AM
Looks as though Wawrinka is going to win as he is leading 2 sets to 1 and is leading in the 4th set 4-2 and is now on serve leading 40-0 and if he wins this game I think he will go on to win the final.
8690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Open 2016 - Thoughts and Tips on: September 11, 2016, 10:45:02 PM
It is looking that way right now.
Novak just took the first set 7-6 and everyone in the crowd is roaring NOvak NOvak! Cheesy
This will be one of the easiest finals for him I will say.
I changed my bet and put it on Djokovic instead at 1.35 when they were warming up. Because I did not see any impairment to his shoulder from his last game.

I agree with you and it's not just the final that will probably be "easy", all the tournament was easy for him. On the last 6 games, he almost only played three, since he had a walkover and 2 retirements. He is a better player and he didn't had to sweat much to get to the final, and that makes a huge difference.
But now Wawrinka is giving him trouble in the second set. Leading 4-1 Sad
I don't know where he got this energy from all the sudden.
The odds for Novak must be good now an above the 1.35 that I got before the match started.
Those that picked for a 3-1 set for Djokovic might have been the better ones wagering on this game. Embarrassed

It's going to be a close match between the two of them and as I said a page back I would not be surprised if it goes to 5 sets. It's looking like it could now with both players on 1 set each and Wawrinka currently winning the 3rd set but Novak is putting up a fight as he doesn't want to go 2 sets down.

Yes it's sad to see this happen and for me I only purchased a few of this assets and as I have said in the past, it's best to just buy Burst team assets such as Bursteam, Burstaker, ByteEnt, Burstize and BSilver. I am heavily invested into these assets and I do own some others but 95% of my invested Burst is in the Burst team assets.

By the way I like you strategy on earning more Burst by mining other Alts and selling for Burst coins, well done and keep up the good work.

Congrats to Angelique Kerber on her US Open win. I'm also very happy as I put her on before the tournament even started @8.60 and I did post in this topic that I liked her chances at winning the US Open on page 3 or 4. Now we move on to the Men's final where I am hoping Novak can win.
8693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which altcoin dyu think would increase its value during Christmas season? on: September 11, 2016, 12:07:28 AM
Bitbay, Qora, Burst, BTCD/Komodo, COVAL, and Krypton (if they get their shit sorted, got 51% attacked recently), are all solid picks.

I'm with you on your picks mate as I already hold a few of these coins and I also think that once Krypton sort out the issues with the 51% attack we could see a nice increase in price and maybe get back to 30k sats or even higher. I could also see Burst reach 80-100 sats by Christmas once they sort out the forking issues they currently have going on. Bitbay is also another coin I could see increasing in value, don't know much about the others but you have a nice selection there.

To be honest I am really surprised with the price levels we are at.. We are using all money earned from wealthydice for CJ purchase but still someone is ensuring the price won't move ahead... Hence I am not going to touch CJ price till we complete wealthydice wagering contest ... I am sure with decent amount in hand and continuous development CJ will be recognised by many in coming days and will be moved forward
there's always like this dev even in a strong and well develop project we can still see opportunist who wanted to manipulate the project they wanted to keep the price control by them so when they declared anything the price will move favor to their ways, we are inside crypto so better to be more aware of such move like this, just keep it up mate wealthy dice will be succeed just needed enough time and exposure. good luck

I agree and I have seen this happen with many Altcoins already and still it's happening to a few coins. Just let the market decide the price for now and just concentrate on the developments and I'm sure the price will rise in due time once people out there start seeing what is being done here. I know we will get the exposure CJ deserves, it's just going to take some time but I know you and the community will succeed dev. Just keep doing what you are doing because you are doing a great job so far.

and someone just chomped the 1 sat wall at yobit  Cool

There is always people buying this coin so I don't think we need to worry when it comes time to sell. Just as long as the dev is active and the community supports the coin, I think we'll be fine. Just purchased another 100k from the sats I earned from a few faucets.

which faucets you use to get 100k satoshis?

I use BTC faucets, LTC faucets and Dogecoin faucets and a couple of Altcoins faucets and then sell for sats and buy 1337 coins. Just look in the micro earnings thread to find many different faucets to earn from. Moonbitcoin is my favorite as you can earn every 5 minutes and also Freebitcoin is a nother good BTC faucet to earn from. I hope this helps answer your question. And by using the faucets earnings and then you buy 1337 coins you are helping to support the coin and community.

That's great. Burst is one of a kind. Once these forking issues are fixed community will keep growing. I haven't tried to mine though just invest in the assets.

I agree mate, the forking issues seem to be the biggest problem at the moment but I'm sure the dev team will get it all sorted out soon. I'm the same as you mate, I'm yet to mine and have just been buying as much Burst as I can each week and investing the coins into assets. I now also use my bounties to buy more Burst coins to invest into more assets so basically each week I'm getting free assets which in turn gives me dividends each month.

What bounties are you refering to? Just working on the site?

The bounties from my signature campaign and also a couple of Twitter campaigns I join, mostly in Altcoins but I sell them for sats and then buy Burst.

Quote
@vella85: Burst Assets are fine, but look at the price. For me itīs better to buy assets @50sats than @65sats. Maybe buy and hold is the far better way atm.

Yes for day traders and people who want to make some quick profit yes it's better to just buy Burst and not invest in assets but for me I see this as a long term investment and while I'm waiting for the price to go up even higher I invest my Burst into assets and earn monthly dividends. Also the assets have been increasing in price so you could also trade them for profit just like trading the coin it's self. But everyone to their own opinion and for me I prefer the assets at the moment.

Un-BELIEVABLE!  Grin

D ALAVES WON! I can not believe it!

I just put a wager on them after the first goal was scored just for FUN! Cheesy
I never thought they would actually win at CAMP NOU! HAHAH!
I think this Barcelona squad only lost once at home last season and that was a big upset and I bet on them as a sure thing to win that match 1 year ago

If only I placed a bet before the match started because they were at 21 odds in favor to win it in there.
Jesus! If only! HAHA!  Wink
every body are shocked , what a matchday full of surprises.

atletico madrid who struggling in last two match won with a big score 4-0 , sevilla lost at home to awesome run las palmas and unbelievable a strongest club in la liga like barcelona lost to a weak club like alaves and it was happened at camp nou!

Sevilla won 2-1 they scored to late goals in the 89th minute and 90+4 minute to win. I think Barcelona would of stuffed up many people's parlay's and for me I decided not to bet on any matches this weekend. I was going to put a bet on Barcelona but a couple of pages back someone posted that it would be a risky game to bet on so I didn't touch it.

Very happy that Man City won the game as I am a Man City fan. It also gets me one step closer to winning my bet on Man City winning the Premier League which I put on before the season started. That was an entertaining game to watch and I also got my bet Man City +1
8699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: AFL ( Australian Football ) 2016 Finals Series Prediction Thread on: September 10, 2016, 11:31:19 PM
I picked 2/4 from this weekend's finals with Geelong and Adelaide winning. I almost got the line bet with North Melbourne as they played well for the 1st half but fell away as Adelaide got on top and over ran North Melbourne in the end winning by 62 points with goal-sneak Eddie Betts kicking 6 goals. The Crows have set up a semi-final showdown with the Sydney Swans at the SCG next Saturday night and the winner of that game will play Geelong at the MCG in the second preliminary final on Friday night, September 23.

Next weeks games:

Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs (MCG)

Sydney v Adelaide (SCG)
