1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alert Coldcoin is definitely a scam on: October 21, 2014, 11:27:04 PM
It's not a real person or a real passport retard.  You don't know the score by now?

There may not be any evidence and no one is going to be punished or sent to prison over this, but it was clearly bitsta's doing and you are blind if you can't see that.
so changing >>>>some<<<< things makes it fully artifactual ... lol...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alert Coldcoin is definitely a scam on: October 21, 2014, 07:35:44 AM
Well of course it is photoshop... but somebody is the original owner of that passport....
It is about common sense not to publish something like that...

btw. it is completely irrelevant if this ID is photoshopped or not... DO NOT PUBLISH SOMETHING LIKE THAT ON SUCH FORUM.

except you like wild west man hunts without justice, trial and any lawful procedures.

In case the ID was stolen, you should take that image here offline and go to your local police(or find a german who does).
Imagine if this is a stolen ID, somebody finds and attacks him. We dont want to get innocent involved in such situations.
btw. i believe it is forbidden in germany to put such image publically available.
thanks
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pool Test on: April 24, 2013, 05:56:55 PM
stale rates can be tested with slow hardware... just set the sharedifficulty to 16 bit and use 300kh/s mining... you will see if your stalerates are off the target Smiley
5  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Who ever owns p2poolmining.com - Get your own design. on: April 24, 2013, 05:55:32 PM
well use robtex, find out that p2poolmining.com is run by a german guy... be happy that germany has some decent copyright laws... go to the lawyer and let him deal with this german guy Wink

that is what i would do....

but wait.. can you proove that is your design Huh?

Smiley

happy mining

or be happy about the cheap advertisement you have been getting through this...

µ=micro
m=milli
so not both starting with "m"
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario on: October 06, 2012, 03:25:02 PM
It seems that the main issue on crypto currencies and their spreading around the world is that many not trustworthy people are seeking their chances to pull out some cash for themselves, which crashes the main trust in this technology. Building Trust should be key issue on spreading cryptocoins. Because this is one of the most important issue all currencies have... the more trusted they are, the more value they become/have., or maybe more more truthful: the less trust, the less value in midterm a currency will have.

sadly many bigger players on the cryptocoin market did not understand that yet, or dont care about.

well a complete backup would secure and maybe dispose to investigating people pm's and entries which are not relevant to this... so i think  he needs to sort out...  but actually i gonna be checking our laws in detail on that....
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: The pirate ponzi fiasco on: August 30, 2012, 02:09:20 PM
well since theymos  was just securing evidence to a possible crime, he was right to check the pm's.. he is in charge of this forum i believe,so he is responsible that if somebody makes criminal activities around here, that there has to be a possibilty to save the evidence... (at least in my country in europe he would be required to do so) which he checked.. so no point of him overreading the pm's... if u wanna communicate in silence, use encryption and most important, private communication channels...

cheers

this mess is funny
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Project will be making a major announcement in September on: August 30, 2012, 01:44:41 PM
well i think there are only a few ways to bring stablization into the market.... my favorite: more money through a major investment or a major merchant accepting btc now.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Project will be making a major announcement in September on: August 29, 2012, 01:42:24 AM
well isn't bitinstant credit card coming... that might open the door for some real world merchant (little too big but catchy example would be Wal Mart... xD), who comes into btc business.... Smiley
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Question on: August 29, 2012, 01:09:01 AM
I am sure there are plenty of developers who will start making user interfaces, nice to use control programs etc...
just like it was with fpga, first it was pretty time consuming setting miner up... but now, some very common software supports fpga (cgminer e.g.)

16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trust No One on: August 29, 2012, 01:06:34 AM
well the story with bitcoin saving and trust, the uncountable hacks of servicesites & exchanges,... it is quite sure that there are many people around crypto coins, who cannot be trusted...

stay safe Smiley
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 350-375 khash/s on HD 7970 on: May 06, 2012, 02:35:58 AM
Maybe You should check on your AMD OCL APP SDK. And your graphic driver. On a friends machine some OpenCL optimizations forced Opencl Compiler to Use CPU due they are not (yet) implemented in GPU code. amd_printf for example can behave like that. Are there any other devices shown for usage? I am asking that because maybe guiminer messed up to enumerate right through the opencl devices since all amd cpu's are recognized and usuable devices.
u may pm me if u still having troubles.

I would try to set in the Flag Box "-v 2 -w 256" or even "-v 4 -w 236".

For further help you should check if anything graphical runs in background (video, music etc playing). Very bad on GPU usuage is the always loved Flash(tm) plugin of your browser.
Open your Task Manager and check for CPU Load.

otherwise i can suggest using cgminer (find it on http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer)
there is a very easy to understand manual for configurating. Another big advantage is the very well output of the app. So Error Detection is easier.
use --debug for a lot of output.
