4181  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: July 24, 2016, 04:02:34 AM
I think yes, you will get profit for sure in 4 years when next halving comes, but maybe someday before halving price will also jump and you also get your profit.

If you trust in bitcoin and see that bitcoin can be a large used currency in a few years then you will understand it is a safe and good way to invest your money.

If an investor believed that bitcoin will grow in the future, he should also believe that the rest of the altcoin will grow along. Except of course those scammy ones.
SO if you invest to bitcoin you might as well invest to ICOs or altcoins with potentials in the futures.
4182  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: July 24, 2016, 03:58:45 AM
I don't think so. Bitcoin will not be too popular to cross the real money. We know bitcoin is still banned in many countries. So people are not using it largely. However new people coming in bitcoin everyday, but i don't think it will cross real money.

if bitcoin becomes popular regular people can actually do transactions casually over the counter of some grocery stores we may never have to promote bitcoin thru signatures Smiley these gambling sites will just register to some adnetworks and display their ads there to target individuals. But then again this may happen years and year later.
4183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ONLINE GAMBLING WILL BE BANNED IN THE PHILIPPINES on: July 23, 2016, 02:11:01 PM
if gambling is not banned in Philippine then why will they banned it online. i do not think so i think these are just the false news about bitcoin and there is no reality about this.

Its more of getting tax to these online gambling sites. cock fight is the most common gambling in the country, its a huge business and they can't hide such event to the public. it has become part of the culture already so its legal and the local government can tax. Online gambling can't be monitored so they better ban it.
4184  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you earn money online? on: July 23, 2016, 01:14:54 PM
If you use faucets, this is nice change to boost your faucet income!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=707364.0
I think faucet is not worth for now, its really small paying.

ITs still worth if you don't have anything do while you have free time. if you think learning a skill instead of doing faucets if a lot better then do it. having a good skills like photoshop or internet marketing is probably a better path.
4185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moved on: July 23, 2016, 08:59:43 AM
I wanted to give this coin a try and purchased a VIP account as the advert said I could reach ROI in 3-6 months.

For a full VIP account I got 1.05894485 ADZ as the daily income. Why is it so low?
This rate,it will take 37000 days = 101 years to break even. Is that correct?

Is there an option to revert my purchase, if I want to cancel?
I am not happy with my daily earnings on VIP account and would like to cancel.

Really?
I've registered to them for about two weeks not and every time i login i get 1 ADZ as a point for doing so. Its almost like no difference eh?
Wait for Jenss to whatever he said about your complain $500 is a huge amount.
4186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for a Bitcoin broker on: July 23, 2016, 08:29:05 AM
I am not looking to cash out to fiat I want to withdraw and deposit in bitcoin. I was just wondering if there are alternatives to Simplefx and 1broker.

if you don't have problems giving away personal ID then i guess you just need to have funds to your legit account such as paypal going to your forex account.
paypal funds can be easy since you do have bitcoin. i like oanda and fxcm
4187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRX]ChronosCoin Pure POS now / Penny Auction soon. on: July 23, 2016, 08:13:00 AM

The POS stage is working?
Just know to buy more CRX . Please tell me that fact

67 Million + money supply
and a good development from dev.
Grab it before listing on Yobit

this looks cool, i think it is much better to take advantage of this
before listing to yobit price will surely rise up, good luck dev
hope you continue and the pos will be more profitable.

Were almost late actually. go to their forum as the dev is giving away CRX just for posting your CRX address.
Hurry because the price is increasing rapidly. i saw he started giving away when the value was still 6bits. noW its x4. it may even go 10x when auction site will be up.
4188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][slock.it][Company] IoT meets blockchain - A TheDAO proposal on: July 23, 2016, 02:51:50 AM

4189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: July 23, 2016, 12:08:52 AM
Its not possible to win big in casinos since  there is something called house edge, which does not allow any player to make profit constantly, even with the greatest strategy.

you couldn't expect someone who learned gambling online to dive into playing big casinos now that there are threads about avoid playing casinos.
users here have become better and better everyday that they wanna make sure they are going to profit.
4190  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: July 22, 2016, 02:02:33 PM
Hell yeah I even withdraw some bitcoin when we run out of milk.
I withdraw some ETH lately just so I can buy the graphic card that I have been eyeing for more than a month and when I saw some spike of the price.
If  you have been into bitcoin for more than a year i guess you already spend coins in real life.
4191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GPU Coin - Full PoS - 15% on: July 22, 2016, 01:50:41 PM

Crap the coins price isn't that big yet but they were already doing their maximum precautions to destroy it Smiley
been a member on usedgpus forum and it would be better to just download what is in there  than the ones being posted here.
4192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO CLOSED | RISE WITHDRAWAL ENABLED | MAINNET LIVE | TRADING ON BITTREX on: July 22, 2016, 04:19:38 AM
Update related to todays events and bittrex:

I asked Bittrex to suspend deposits and withdrawals today until we found out exactly why there was a server outage causing the blockchain to stop.

The following explantion was posted here:

http://forum.rise.vision/topic/8/rise-wallet-re-opened-at-bittrex-21st-july-2016

This highlights EXACTLY why we need delegates back into the public hands asap and running on multiple nodes.

Thanks for the understanding and patience while the development work is completed to make public delegates possible and stable again.

I just wonder that rise is a clone of lisk, why lisk is stable but rise has so many issues?

You guys should be focus on stability first. And then, other projects, btw, waiting for long time is ok if they can be done, finally rise will rise.

i think so. its a long term investment as you can see on their roadmap. i don't think people will be able to understand it if they don't see something that gradually grow though. its been weeks already and  they should be able to provide details of what was going on.
4193  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: July 21, 2016, 04:37:32 PM
It would be a good thing for sure if Bitcoin was used by everyone in 2022 but I think that the chance is small of that happening.
Almost everyone are allot of people and most people still do not even know what Bitcoin is.

Well if we based into realistic scenario, yes by year 2022 bitcoin won't used by everyone. There are lots of reasons why bitcoin can't be used by everyone even it will reached it's all time high price. Some of the reasons are already stated in this thread.

Internet is the main key for bitcoin to use. Without it no such bitcoin transaction in a certain location will happen.

Internet is the hardest thing to destroy though. now that most people and even banking system rely mostly on internet, they won't allow internet to be destroyed so bitcoin will still be used although not widely. bitcoin may never be used widely even after 2022. but sure its here to stay.
4194  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: July 21, 2016, 01:09:46 AM

Why you guys so mad about it when there are a lot of signature campaigns to join to. They may not offer daily update but they still pay good still.
Maybe you wanna try the signature campaign for bounties of new ICOs in this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0  or here

4195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 21, 2016, 12:49:14 AM

Done trying it unzip, open the index thru firefox and import my seed. tried sending to my bittrex account but does nothing although it prompt that I've sent an amount to the given address. did i just found a bug, WAVES team should pay me for this.

What kind of bug are you talking about? I know about these small issues and I know how to solve it. Did you use a different internet connection? I see you are ignore my suggestions. Smiley

Judging by what happen to my account which can't send anything, i don't think its just the nodes. It can't even send a single waves to anywhere.
how do i try my phone by the way Twiggy I have my iphone here. is there a waves app for iphone?

Again, I say to you, please try to use a different Internet connection. Share internet via USB/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth from your iPhone to your computer. Smiley

How to Use Your iPhone’s Hotspot (or a USB Cable) for Tethering

I didn't ignore your suggestions, its just that i don't have any other internet connection. I'm from a remote island of the Philippines, if this explains why then i guess I'm doomed. but i have rebooted my router, modem and update my client just like you said. thanks by the way but seem not working really. i have already provided you the screenshots of the results. i was hoping it can work but nothing.
4196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 21, 2016, 12:36:37 AM
I have to say, some of you are 100% sure that waves is not on polo just due to nodes. We do not know that. Hopefully it is this but some people might be really disappointed if it is not this. Who (well, polo team knows) knows what is the real reason. As a waves buyer, I hope it is this.
I hope so too. We will know for sure once the nodes are released.

Judging by what happen to my account which can't send anything, i don't think its just the nodes. It can't even send a single waves to anywhere.

4197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 21, 2016, 12:18:36 AM

I did save this 1K waves bought the rest of my waves from someone in the forum and send it back to the waves client. now I can't send them.
Twiggy can i give you my logins details? maybe you can sort it out.

I can not take your login details. As I said earlier, try to use a different Internet connection / another PC / your smartphone.

Try to use another browser - Firefox and open index.html file from this archive - https://github.com/wavesplatform/WavesGUI/archive/v0.4.1.MAIN.zip do not forget unzip it before you start.

Done trying it unzip, open the index thru firefox and import my seed. tried sending to my bittrex account but does nothing although it prompt that I've sent an amount to the given address. did i just found a bug, WAVES team should pay me for this.

My client is 0.4.1a but then i tried importing again and send waves to my bittrex account, same result still. I'm suing chrome app by the way.
And check this can this be an error?  http://imgur.com/a/As3eE

Check your personal messages, I sent two messages to you.

it doesn't work still really. I just want to move it since I'm reformatting my laptop. Now I just have to keep it until it works.
I don't use VPN and my browser is updated. I can't believe I can't move my waves. Anyone else can confirm they can move their waves?

funny thing is that i was asked for 100000 WVL fee? http://imgur.com/a/As3eE

If that does not help you, try to use a different internet connection - 4G modem/your phone. Or if your provider gives you a dynamic IP address, try to restart your router or internet connection and try again. Perhaps the cloudflare temporarily blocked your IP address. As long as network is a centralized, IP addresses are sometimes temporarily blocked by cloudflare, when the main net code will be released, everything will be in its place.

This is not a funny thing, it's a normal thing. Tx fee per transaction: 100000 WVL (Wavelet) = 0.001 Waves.

Btw, about new realizes of Waves wallets:

Lite Client Updates
In other news, we are making several minor alterations to the lite client to make it more user-friendly. These include some styling and the addition of a dialogue box after a SEND transaction has been initiated, confirming recipient and amount. We will also add a variable fee option.
As things stand the overwhelming priority is to roll out full nodes and enable a stable, secure public network. Consequently the next round of major changes to the UI will occur after that critical update is complete.
You can always find the latest version of the client at: https://wavesplatform.com/.

what possibly could be the reason why i'd be blocked by cloudfare?
been using this connection since time moving my waves from bittrex to the platform weeks ago and only yesterday and today that I got myself into such situation.
