if you keep it on your cold storage its safe. its the value that you would have to worry because you may never know if bitcoins value in the later months or years will still be sort of an okay. if for instance it just grow for about $50. then its not worth the wait. and worse is that it plummet down to a hundred. it sure won't sound an investment by then. |

You don't need the mock practice if you just learn how things work.
I'm a newbie as well but started trading with small amounts. you might wanna try this too. join some signature camapign and while you earn few just invest to a crowdfunding ICO/IPO but of course choose the ones that has potential and ing hyped by the users here. by then you'll learn some terms like marketcaps and etc.

Come to think of it, why would he let someone else login his wallet? you should be able to sense something is wrong with this guy. 6btc is still a huge amount.

More than likely it won't , Ethereum price is indeed rising, however, It's without any valid reason while Bitcoin is rising because many users are coming daily (I don't think it's the case for Ethereum) , because more shops are using it daily (It's definitely not the case for Ethereum) and for the halving (not the case too) etc ...
Ethereum is based on pure Manipulation if ask me . I could be wrong, though !
ETH may have to go all the troubles. but if these merchants experience to long wait of transaction confirmation and are introduce to other coin such as ETH, they will most likely use ETH as well. I consider that it would surpass it if it has more users than it or if it has a bigger price. That's indeed not the case. The price could be a past problem for a few hours when the mining will stop and the income of new coins will be a lot lower, but the userbase will never be surpassed, except in the case of The DAO attracting the mass-media attention.
DAO will definitely help the rise of ETH. |

Waves IS receiving a lot of hype, maybe Poloniex will notice the project sooner than later even after all the requests from early investors.  True but maybe because it did lay a better option to store the coins a trade has while also not risking storing it on the exchange sites server. I just wonder how much time is needed when you get to synchronize it. it does need synchronization right? |

Its possible that the Chinese bitcoin miners will also shutdown if bitcoin plummets down to where miner won't profit anymore.
This halving is the very awaited event this year and if it turned out like what we expect, we can go on with our lives enjoying BTC still. if not, we can still go on with the new coin.

thru waves as far as i know will help us not getting scammed by exchange sites anymore. we may never be registering to exchanges that somehow reason us about them getting hacked while they only want our coins on their wallet.

what exactly do you mean by "enter my trades"? generally you want to buy something when the price is low and then wait for a while and sell it when you feel the price is high enough for you to make a decent profit. I assume the guy is a FX day trader. Enter a trade is often use by FOREX traders to which a trader will profit/gain either where the market is going. Normally they call this "enter a position or a trade". A trade position may either a bid for which the market go either bull or bear. |

You didn't learn from what had happen months ago. ETH will always be pumped for every project there on are created with ETH being the useful coin.
Its a continuous evolution and yo can check this out in the list of ICOs. ETH will soon be the kind in the end, you'll see.

The price won't stay low, it definitely must go high. yyup he is holding his ETH BTC price should already be going up aggressively due to halving is coming. But since its still not going up, the speculation that it will do the opposite might just be what will happen. The truth may just be stranger than what we expect. |

Yes. I just kicked my ass for not investing with ETH as i listened to those who kept telling btc is going to win still. Heck i realize later BTC won't even touch $500 even when halving is very close. I bought eth when it was 0.02 but yeah still its worth buying. |

You're not too late though, you still can buy ETH and then buy DAO from bittrex. Price may now be ETH = 50 DAO, Not sure.
There are people who are skeptical about DAO as its not actually the real SUM of funds gathered. This is because you as an investor can still take back your ETH if you don't intend to vote to a program.

There will be a lot of stuff that will happen to bitcoin this year so its not so boring after all especially come halving. its the result of halving that's scary though.
because of all the great projects coming out these days, I don't see how bitcoin could prosper still. but then we'll see.
