This was great back in the day!
I played in the original beta in 1997 and played pretty regularly until 2003 or so.

Jumped back in 2010. Died 10 minutes in, and then rage quit  Tongue
425  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Terrible Experience with Bets of Bitcoin / Bitbet on: November 21, 2013, 02:20:04 PM
So this dude's bitcoin arrived too late to be included in the bet, but is being kept as if it had made it in the bet and lost?

For shame.  Shame shame shame.

It is the ticket date, not the withdrawal date.

You must have raised a ticket.

I did a withdrawal on the 7th,
Raised a ticket on the 7th as well.
Raised another ticket on the 14th.

431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Btc-e.com blocking my IP? on: November 18, 2013, 04:26:25 PM
I've been emailing cloudflare, they go from trying to be helpful and saying everything looks good... to what looks like a supervisor jumping on and saying "no comment"

He's the email convo (It goes from most recent to first message)

Code:
I know you think my IP had been blocked by them. I've asked, and they say its on the whitelist, not the blacklist.

You guys could suggest anything else I could try?

Did you want me to do a trace root?

Thanks,
Andrew Dobbins

OK. As whois shows, btc-e.com is using CloudFlare -- we don't comment further.

Could it be an issue with BTC-e.com

Quite a few people on bitcointalk.org are having the same problem.

Thanks,

Thanks Andrew,

I am currently not seeing any errors for btc-e.com against your IP in our logs. Currently the site is resolving for me from my location:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/e83wcp8ts6ia6ov/Screen%20Shot%202013-11-15%20at%203.53.06%20PM.png

Are you still unable to access this domain? The screenshot your provided earlier is not our block page, but a server not found error generate from the browser when the IP address of the host server is not known or cannot be reached.

Can you provide your source IP, domain in question, and a screenshot of the page you are seeing?

I've been blocked outright. It's not just one IP being blocked, it's a whole range.

No captcha, just a time out.

Thanks,

CloudFlare has several levels of security, ranging from IP security to browser inspection to our Web Application Firewall.

Sounds like either you are using a non-standard client or there has been a lot of activity from your IP that has raised your threat score.

Are you being blocked outright or challenged, with a CAPTCHA? Going through the challenge helps improve your threat score.

G'day!

For a while I've been trying to access BTC-e.com and haven't been able to. I've emailed them and they say I'm not blacklisted. I was able to access the site on my iPhone no problem.

It's taken me a better part of a week, but I figured out that I can't access any cloudflare websites from my home computer. I've tried resetting my router to get a different IP, and still can't.

I think you guys may have banned an entire bunch of IPs. My IP is currently 122.149.150.147

I can't access butterflylabs.com or weexchange.co either.

To top it off I had to create an account here just so I could contact you guys.

Please help!

-Andrew

The last guy felt like a bit of a dick, or is it just me?

*sigh*
I don't know who else to talk to.  btc-e don't really reply to emails as their english is terrible.

436  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Btc-e.com blocking my IP? on: November 15, 2013, 02:41:50 PM
All of those sites listed are working again... except btc-e.com of course

I've been talking to cloudflare are they asked for a screenshot of the time out page.  strange.
437  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Btc-e.com blocking my IP? on: November 14, 2013, 02:10:03 PM
I was right.  I cant access ANY cloudflare site.

I had to sign up to them just so I could contact them and find out whats going on.

I currently can't access...
- btc-e.com
- butterflylabs.com
- weexchange.co
- cloudflare.com

this is bullshit, why are they blanket banning 122.149.x.x ?!? Thats 65,000 IP addresses!!
438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Options to buy BTC in Australia on: November 14, 2013, 02:03:31 PM
Straight to the point...

What are the current options to buy/sell BTC to AUD in Australia.

I've never purchased, only mined.  And I've only sold twice. CryptopXchange (now closed) & MtGox (international transfers not working).

kgo!

I've not gotten a reply at all Sad

I've sent an email, and a PM or 2. Have been for the last 3 weeks

Steve, please get in touch with me. I need these funds for IVF (baby making), and my (soon to be) wife will pass the age cutoff.

-Dobz

Sorry to hear than Dob. good luck with the treatment.

Seeing as Knc won't be shipping until (tommorow?) at the earliest, I wouldn't expect any contact for at least a week.

appreciate the kind words.  I hope he says something soon.  I really wish I voted refund in the group buy, but I didn't expect him to take the funds and just start buying stuff without talking to us, the funders.
440  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 14, 2013, 12:41:46 PM
Of course no new withdraws are working.
I have stated over and over that bitcoind is in a constant state of non-use by the system because it either in startup/wallet loading mode, or locked up due to the latest transfer request.

Let me repeat again.
During startup, bitcoind does not respond to RPC calls.
Once it is up, I make a transfer. The moment I make the transfer, no matter what hardware is provided, it goes to 100% resources and fails to respond to any RPC requests, even after the transaction eventually makes it to the network.

-Ukyo

When do you think that will be?  I'm desperate for these funds so I can get IVF for my soon to be wife.  She's nearly at the cut off date and I REALLY REALLY need this money! Sad

Why can't you respond to support tickets.  Please stop ignoring us  Embarrassed
