Hypothetically, how would it affect BTC trading if certain whales are given unlimited access to 0% interest USD loans?

That's pretty bullish, if I do not say so my self?

We going straight up to those lofty heights or will there be down before up?

Study: Over 50 Million Americans Likely to Buy Crypto in the Next Year

In May 2021, The Ascent surveyed 2,000 American adults about cryptocurrency.

Key findings

Interest in cryptocurrency continues to grow: Over 51% of Americans who own cryptocurrency bought for the first time within the last 12 months. 22% of Americans that have never purchased cryptocurrency are likely to buy in the next year.

Nearly two-thirds of Americans typically sell cryptocurrency within a year of buying

Do you think people who haven't yet invested in cryptocurrency have missed the boat or are too late to make a profit?   Percentage of owners/previous owners of cryptocurrency   Percentage of non-owners of cryptocurrency   Percentage of all respondents
Yes   52.16%   27.58%   42.62%
No   47.84%   72.42%   57.38%

Let's set
x=owners/previous owners of cryptocurrency
y=non-owners of cryptocurrency
x*52.1+y*27.6=(x+y)*42.6
9.5x=15y

because x+y=1 total american adult
get
x=61%
y=39% (this means non-owners which never buy crypto is 39% total american adult)

Quote
14% of American adults -- roughly 21 million people -- own cryptocurrency, according to a report from Gemini
why owners percent is so low, because 2/3 of them sold within a year.

and the 50M will buy is wrong
should
208*39%*20%=16M

lol Elon doing Elon things again and tweeting while drunk or something. Now pumping cumrocket bags. I honestly think this dude just gets off on toying with people. Good news is the more times he pulls shit like this the less effective his bullshit is.

In other news excited for Bitcoin2021 today, I would have loved to have gone and would have had my country allowed international travel. Maybe next year? Either way I'll be watching the live stream

It could go up then crash or crash right away or it could resume the bull market.

But it seems there is a consolidation between 30k et 40k so quite lower than ATH therefore if it does not go back up, one or several other crashes are likely.

The USD can also crash at any point which would push BTC price higher but I am wondering if BTC would go up or down if there is a big huge international negative event, let's say in July. In march 2020, there was a liquidity squeeze and a lot of negativity and BTC crashed even more than other assets.

1. it depends. I don't think someone posting bitcoin doodle next to the broken heart image could be construed as such.
2. he only cares about himself and his lofty ideas. bitcoin is a play thing.

however, the person who throws s-t against the wind might end up smelling not too good.

not statistically proven: chart buddy postings (when occurring at high frequency) seem to inhibit the number of other posts on WO.
I guess people get the info and are satisfied.

I can only speak for myself, but I don't like chart buddy and don't visit the thread as often right now, so there is as least a correlation.
You turn on the computer and see three or four chart buddys in a row and just go "oh for fucks sake", and leave.

Musk is a pathological liar. the relationship with Dogecoin team exists since 2019.  Roll Eyes

https://decrypt.co/71264/dogecoin-dev-what-its-like-working-with-elon-musk

...

Indeed, Musk’s enthusiasm for the project means that the devs often need to hold him in check.

"He runs off to the end goal," Nicoll said. "He is back at the coffee shop, and we’re going, ‘great, but we need to make a path from A to Z—it’s not the next step.’ So we're a long way off from actually announcing plans on that right now."
