1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are CoinBase, Kraken, and Poloniex Doomed to Fail? on: September 19, 2016, 12:44:47 PM
IMO big exchanges may have good reputations, but they are just the ones that haven’t been hacked yet. When your money is pooled with that of many other people, it is far more at risk than if you hold it in your own wallets. (I say wallets, because you wouldn’t be foolish enough to hold it all in a single wallet, would you?)
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: Negative price on: September 19, 2016, 12:40:43 PM
Well bitcoin price tends lower after a failed attempt at a push toward overhead resistance. With even the core developers now at the mercy of officious negative sentiment, there is only one direction for price and that’s down.

Howard won't. It's just his prime is over. He lost the moves, the durability, and the drive. He ain't that beast of a center anymore.

But still i am a howard fan. They are just with the same age as lebron. he is although annoying. Speaking of centers, my best young centers are also cousins and davis. Davis a shooter and cousins a great bigmen ball handler. I would a good sf or pg to go with there combo.
4  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What kind of service/business would you create if you had funding and.... on: September 18, 2016, 01:23:15 PM
Honestly i would go for a church/sect. I have friends and pardon me for religious people here but it is tax free. I can profit but i would also help the poor and give free services and shelter to them. I think its a sustainable income and with correct processing.

not sure if the Cavs would want to play that run and gun. They came
back in the finals because they dictated the pace and played great Defense
(it also didn't hurt the warriors couldn't hit any shots lol)

excited for the season to start!
thats the right assessment mate cavs did not run and make sure that they have the tempo of the game even the warriors have that run and gun attack cavs still hold the ball and make a clear offense and find the right person aside from lebron who really carrying the team the whole season i know irving gave so much drama on that last game but respect to lebron who really fight for the win.
The confidence is overflowing for the entire team of cavaliers now, they had their first championship and I think it will be hard for them to beat already, though the warriors have upgraded but the cavaliers is still the stronger team.
I think they will make a repeat but it is not gonna be easy for them, warriors are much improve team now and durant can defend lebron james due to his height, so it is going to be another best finals ever if they happen to face each other.

Well it would be odd if they would face again for the 3rd straight time. But i think warriors would likely dominate the west. and may create another history. as cleveland, i think they would be 1st or 2nd in the east because i think the hawks has howard assuming he is still in his prime.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: September 18, 2016, 01:13:50 PM
The Fed is in the same bind it has been in for years. It needs to raise rates, but it can’t because economic growth is too slow and we might go into a recession if borrowing costs rise.
As singer Paul Simon said: “It’s the same old story.” And unless Washington and the Fed wise up, our kids will be singing the same tune 20 years from now.
7  Economy / Lending / Re: need loan 0.01 rush!! on: September 17, 2016, 05:32:59 AM
i dont think this is a place for that?? as you know people can easily make up stories and ur account is not enough as a collateral. in this line of business we are all anonymous. No lender's would entertain you and you might get a negative trust like that.

Iman Shumpert gets a Dui and I was reading and they may trade him. He
is pretty solid on defense and would be a big loss.

I'm not sure if the Cavs would trade Iman. JR is in talks with some teams so losing both could be huge hit since there are not easy to replace (Andersen and Dunleavy won't cut it I'm afraid haha).

On the other hand, Shumpert was atrocious in the finals, even on defense...so maybe there's a chance they will trade him after all...

I dont think these rumors are meant to be believed. I've many ridiculous rumors like cousins going to cavs or even igoudala trading to shumpert. It is true that delly and mozgov moved but i think cavs has some backup players in them. whats waiting is that there deals to be signed.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chess Game that Used Bitcoin? on: September 17, 2016, 05:08:08 AM
hello there i just want to ask if you know a gambling site that offers a PVP chess game? I want to play some chess and at the same time earn some profit, Cheesy
I'm tired on playing with bot at my computer. Thanks in advance for future responds.  Wink

You can try bella coin it rewards you bella which is a cryptocurrency for playing. But it is not worth much that is what is the problem. The payout is very bad, I am not sure how many people play online.

Most games like this won't pay you out much, as it is easy to use a bot for chess. Searching "chess bot" on google give many suggestions, and there even is a chrome extension that will help you decide on the smartest next move. For these reasons, I doubt that there will ever be a chess game for bitcoins.

As a chess player i think this would be nice where you can bet your btc that would really depend on your own skill. Calibration i think is necessary to avoid mismatches. and i dont think there is a bot like cheats in playing chess. if possible it can search for real players not bots.

Feyenoord’s Dirk Kuyt: win over Manchester United was night to remember:
The 36-year-old enjoyed six years at north-west rivals Liverpool and netted a hat-trick in a 3-1 defeat of United in March 2011. “This is a night not to forget quickly,” he said. “The crowd was great and that resulted in a lovely atmosphere at De Kuip. The club, Feyenoord, belongs in Europe. If you do it on an evening against a top team as Manchester United, that gives a wonderful feeling.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: September 16, 2016, 11:33:59 AM

Yeah if you ask me they are to strong they of their starters are stars if not super stars I even believe that they can go out with out losing more then 5 games.
That is how good I think this team is.

Well we all have different analyzation but Durant is the only additional player in the roster of GSW. Those players who have been traded in exchange of Durant are part of the reasons why GSW has a good standing last season.

Also season record is nothing as when you entered playoffs all teams are 0-0.
I know but Golden state only had trouble with OKC and Cleveland in the play offs now they have Durant who is from OKC.
You cannot tell me that with Durant added to their roster that they are a worse team. Their 3 point shooting is now even better, or Durand or Curry or Thomson is going to go off. Chance would be slim for all three of them to play bad in the same game.
Golden State Warriors are a team designed around soft shooters like Durant/Curry and Klay. Although they are some of the greatest shooters this league has ever seen, they are also quite fragile with history of injuries such as Durant's foot and Curry's ankles. In the NBA teams smell blood and attack your weakest point over and over again and if this means going at Curry offensively for the entire season than so be it.
If it was as simple as that for other teams, Golden State would not have won over 130 games in the last two regular seasons. Heck, sometimes their games are won after just three quarters and they have the luxury to bench their best players in the whole fourth quarter. They will mature even more as a team this year and the arrival of Durant would just take this team to new heights and in turn put more pressure on them to win each game they play.

If theres is anything that has improved during durant trade, it would be there defense. durant is a shooter but he is good enough as a pf and he is tall enough to defend big men as kerr has stated to start green as center and durant is even taller than green.
12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Difference in price between coinbase and bitstamp on: September 16, 2016, 11:19:07 AM
Well in terms of buy and sell, both services provide bitcoin/US dollar exchange services, but they differ in their style. Coinbase users buy and sell bitcoins directly from the company. They publish their bid and ask prices on their service and users can go to the “buy/sell” page to enter their orders. In the case of Bitstamp the company acts as an exchange where users buy and sell between themselves at the best prices offered on the system.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 203 Miocic vs. Overeem on: September 15, 2016, 01:39:04 PM
Yeah but CM Punk?  I don't think he was an enough of a draw to bring in a lot of the huge WWE fan base.  Get John Cena to fight in the UFC.  That would draw and bring in millions via PPV and ticket sales.  But how old is he these days, hopefully still young enough to fight someone good competitively.

WWE wrestlers may truthly practice some martial arts but it would be easy to adjust in real time or real action fights. Lesnar came from ufc but transition would be easy. But if cena would really go for money but i doubt that it would give his first game an impact wether he is a real fighter or not.

Quote
Which young player would you rather have Justise Winslow of the Miami Heat or Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns?

I think Miami should have drafted Booker in last year's draft and I think Booker will have a better career, but Ira Windermann who is a beat writer of Miami Sun-Sentinel says that Winslow fits the Miami Heat culture better and will be a better pro than Booker. What do you all think?
lets see how Winslow performed this season and then we can give opinion as players needed to have some time to fits himself inside the team maybe the management and coaching staff see some potentials coming from this new kid and they wants to build him more. no offense with Windermann who already seen the potential last season i think sun will use them more now.
I would not be surprise if the heat will not enter in the playoffs this season, they mess up badly letting wade go. They could have build a good team with a good defense and a balance offense. Anyway that was done, so let's see what heat can bring to the table.
I don't think losing D.Wade is too big a loss for the Heat. It pales in comparison to when Lebron went back home to Cleveland. They became a title contender to just another team fighting for a playoff spot. What the Heat loss in Wade is an aging, injury prone player.

they may have lost wade but they can still be a playoff contender. whiteside is showing his dominance and drajic might come in handy for the team now that he’ll have the ball in his hands a lot more. they also got winslow and haslem.but not for championship until bosh can play at his peak.
15  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is Armory better than Electrum? on: September 14, 2016, 11:24:41 AM
Armory has features that can help your wallet be more secure such as key stretching (to help fight the use of GPus to Crack the key should it be captured giving you more time to create a new wallet and getting coins safe) that and no relying on a server to process your transactions. Electrum however is still a great choice for those who don't want to take up 32gb and growing space for two blockchains one for bitcoin-qt and one for armory. For most security armory over all. Both would be just as easy to spend and eviscerated coin.

Can the Pistons be even better this season? Is a top four finish a goal that's attainable? They didn't really make a lot of noise in the off season with trading and hiring. Stan Van Gundy did strengthen the Pistons bench with the additions of Jon Leuer, Boban Marjanovic, Ish Smith, and draft picks Henry Ellenson and Michael Gbinije. Would that be enough to make them a scary team in the less competitive Eastern Conference?
we can't say yet mate but let see after the season start if they can bring their rookies to scoring people i think pistons are just sleeping giants they have the bad boys before so better watched out if what they bring this season.
The Pistons were really really good during the era of Chauncey Billups, Rasheed Wallace, Rip Hamilton and Ben Wallace. They were a team that had no real superstar, but their defense and team chemistry carried them to numerous playoff appearances and one championship. Would love to see the Pistons become title contenders again this year or in the next few years.

And i think there are many history makers during the this past season. Portland winning round 1 since 1999. The got good lineup and i do hope they can achieve more. Also the clippers cant get over their injuries, there were a great team but its hard for them to catch up on injuries with there 4 stars with cp3 truth griffin and jordan.

stipe ain't losing that belt soon. this guy is insane. a guy who should have been swinging an axe on a battlefield. shame on Alistair for the excuse...and good on Rogan for taking control of the situation and clearing any unneeded controversy before it happened. with this situation, cm punk fighting, an elevator falling and injuring CB, and the entire Browne Werdum fight I can say this is the weirdest UFC event of all time.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying, Mining and Storing Bitcoin on: September 12, 2016, 01:25:26 PM
What i know is bitcoin wallets store the private keys that needs to access a bitcoin address and spend your funds. They come in different forms, designed for different types of device. You can even use paper storage to avoid having them on a computer at all. Of course, it is very important to secure and back up your bitcoin wallet.

I love both Stipe & Overeem, it's yet another one of those fights where I don't wanna see either guy lose... If I'm honest I can see overeem becoming the new champ, i feel like his skill range is a lot more diverse when it comes to those kicks to the leg/body because of his kickboxing/K-1 background... he literally needs this win to cement his place in history having won the strikeforce heavyweight world title, dream heavyweight world title & K-1 world grand prix title AND he is one of only two people ever to hold both an MMA title and K-1 kickboxing title at the same time! either way I'm hoping for a great fight!

An Epic Class — Each year sees a new class inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, and by nature, some classes are more star-studded than others. But the class of 2016, inducted last night in Springfield, was as big as it gets. As our own Scott Howard-Cooper writes, last night’s induction ceremony was some kind of party.
Here are some of three NBA Hall of Famers.
