An Epic Class — Each year sees a new class inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, and by nature, some classes are more star-studded than others. But the class of 2016, inducted last night in Springfield, was as big as it gets. As our own Scott Howard-Cooper writes, last night’s induction ceremony was some kind of party.
Here are some of three NBA Hall of Famers.

Shaquille O'neal, Allen Iverson and Yao Ming really deserve to be in Hall of Fame, even though Iverson and Yao has no rings. Yao has the shorter carreer of those 3 because of injury but he is really a dominant in his stint.

Shaq and Iverson being inducted is no surprise, Iverson didn't get a title but he was very close with a mediocre Philly team against much better ones like Lakers, Spurs, etc. Yao Ming career was a little dissapointing in the sense that his potential was huge, he lacked a little personality in my opinion being a chinese player among NBA superstars but he still held its own and it was a major force in the league when healthy. I remember him putting some monster numbers, stats line like +30 pts, +15 rebs, +4-5 blks were very common. You don't have centers like him or let alone Shaq anymore, the closest thing was Howard at his prime.

On the other hand the game has changed an evolved to a more perimeter focused one so it makes sense. But I would love to see young Yao or Shaq play against the Warriors, Cavs and other teams and see if they could impact today's game dynamics the way they did back then.

I want Iverson because he has great talent, I like the way he played and his discipline in the court. Though he failed to win in the championship but he was able to take his team into the playoffs many times.

Iverson made it to the NBA finals with a mediocre Philly team, that was a huge accomplishment. Plus he was one of the greatest fighters along with Kobe, those guys played with broken fingers, swollen knees, ailing backs, you name it.

the achievement of this little guy can't be compared to anyone since he already showcase the world of basketball when he's still at his prime iverson is the great example of a little guy who knows how to use his skills and quickness.

He was just unlucky he was not able to continue his career in NBA, he resigned at the young age due to some problems in real life, but if he would play now I would be happy to see him just for the sake of entertainment.

Good luck to you, I hope your team wins, golden state warriors are getting stronger now but I do not think they will work the chemistry easily, it is not individual game only that will let a team get the championship bit it is more on the team work and cavaliers have that that is why they are champion.

they are the crowd favorite but like what you've said the chemistry between superstars are hard to get right away they need to play more on the actual game to see how it will develop but cavs and san antonio are still there to hunt the crown too so better to keep watching it.

I think you are just a passerby here in this thread based on your post.

Anyways it's really GSW who was on the top list that will take the next season's title but there are many events in the passed wherein first form super teams fail to get the ring.

Good example is the first form of big 3 in Miami Heat and big 4 in Los Angeles Lakers.

Well I don't think Golden state warriors are going to make it again because there are a lot of shuffling of players did happen for different teams. But if KD is going to join GSW for sure they have a higher chances again of coming back to the top and for sure it is their chance again to reach the FINALS championship.

A.I. was also one of my idols growing up. He didn't have a good life as a kid and even was jailed for his early troubles. Props to Coach John Thompson who trusted him and let him play in Georgetown. From there, it was still a roller coaster ride for A.I. the rest of the way. On and off the court, he had to fight a lot of issues that made him retire at a very young age. I think part of the reason of that early retirement is his unwillingness to come off the bench or play limited minutes.

For me, he is the best point guard so far, I have seen how paul and nash played and I can say AI is way more better than the two combined, he is more fun to watch especially in the playoffs and the swag in the floor is what really makes him a remarkable player.

Well I don't think Golden state warriors are going to make it again because there are a lot of shuffling of players did happen for different teams. But if KD is going to join GSW for sure they have a higher chances again of coming back to the top and for sure it is their chance again to reach the FINALS championship.

Kevin Durant is already a roster in the Golden State Warriors and now waiting for the next season actions for his journey to the ring.

Adding KD in GSW lineup is a big advantage for this team to get into finals but NBA is NBA. Upset always happen and sometimes the team we expect on finals aren't the team we desire.

I am going to put my eyesight with Golden State Warriors I am impressed with their performance with the last season.

And KD for sure is a big plus for them, think about if what if KD is already in their roster from last season. For sure they are going to nail the championship.

I hope they are going to win the finals this season.

I think you are hyping A.I. too much with that statement. If anything, Jason Kidd played better (as a point guard) than Chris Paul, Steve Nash, and even Allen Iverson. A.I. was more of a scoring point guard compared to true point guards like Jason Kidd. Although it can be argued that he never won an MVP award while Nash had two and A.I. had one, he had a more enduring career in which he was the most dominant point guard for stretches in the NBA for over 10 years. And he was not even scoring in the 20's.

the achievement of this little guy can't be compared to anyone since he already showcase the world of basketball when he's still at his prime iverson is the great example of a little guy who knows how to use his skills and quickness.
He was just unlucky he was not able to continue his career in NBA, he resigned at the young age due to some problems in real life, but if he would play now I would be happy to see him just for the sake of entertainment.
A.I. was also one of my idols growing up.
Maybe the competition during his era is very strong that is why he did not win the MVP, but despite of that fact he is fun to watch, though I was not able to follow him during his time but upon watching the video online, it makes me feel good and makes me wanna go back on time.

because MJ came back that's the reason and the domination of lakers timing really affect his career for not having the title but no argue he really one of the best point guard who doesnt score much.

This.

Iverson is more on the scoring point guard that's why you can see he always lead the season's leading scorer during his time. I respect AI but I don't think he can outshine Kidd and Nash here as these 2 can do score and assist most of the time.

When you say Philly at the time of AI, people only knows AI since he is really a one man team. But when you point to Kidd and Nash, all of their teammates is also recognized since these 2 is really great in ball circulation.

Assist = Score

Can the Pistons be even better this season? Is a top four finish a goal that's attainable? They didn't really make a lot of noise in the off season with trading and hiring. Stan Van Gundy did strengthen the Pistons bench with the additions of Jon Leuer, Boban Marjanovic, Ish Smith, and draft picks Henry Ellenson and Michael Gbinije. Would that be enough to make them a scary team in the less competitive Eastern Conference?

This is another team that I've been waiting to be noisy and yeah you are right with it. It seems that they are not being in the scene either.

I guess their roster is already enough to make out some good noise for this upcoming season of the league.

I will also going to keep an eye for this team but if they are going to be on losing streak then I will probably cross them out on my list.
