They seem to be down for at least 12 hours now. I don't have any coins there, but it would be a shame to see the Fog fade away. Anyone have any insight as what is going on with this downtime?
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinabul owes me $ and is not responding on: October 31, 2013, 11:23:58 PM
Tues came and went and the tracking info still said only "initiated"

ON tues the package actually shipped and the tracking info updated to delivery on Thurs.

Package was delivered on Thursday and all in all everything was provided for the order I placed on Aug 1st.

It's October 31st.

Sad

Just happy coinabul did the right thing and sent what I paid them for.

I can't recommend coinabul and rather sure I'll never use them again, but in the end they did follow through and deliver.

R.I.P.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinabul order from August still non filled. No response from them. on: October 31, 2013, 11:19:11 PM
I ordered Aug 1st and today received tracking info unexpectedly.

What did they say in their response to you? If you don't mind sharing....

Here is my thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=283445.0

They were actually pretty rude in the email. They claimed to have been keeping everyone well informed already. So far I've seen no evidence of that. I did get my tracking number earlier today so at least I can be done with this.

Got my tracking info on Friday and it is currently sunday night. It could be the weekend. We will find out in the AM...but the tracking info I have when looked  at closely only says "Initiated - Information has been sent to FedEx"

Can you confirm?

Im still baffled by all this, but I certainly hope that we are witnessing Coinabul do the right thing!

That's all I got as well.

Looks like they still have not actually mailed anything.

Beans I wanted to report that Tues came and went and your right nothing was sent. ON tues my package went to shipped status and tracked until Thurs.

Good news. Coinabul came through and I received my package..... For the order I placed on Aug 1st.

Point to you is remain hopeful it would appear that coinabul is doing the right thing and while I obviously can't say I'll ever use them again, in the end they did do the right thing and ship.

Best of luck.

8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinabul owes me $ and is not responding on: October 27, 2013, 04:27:28 AM
In a STRANGE turn of events, I got 2 emails from Coinabul today.

One saying that my order has shipped, and the second giving me FedEx Tracking info!

Can I really think that since BTC has risen Coinabul has decided to cash out for gold and is actually doing the right thing by sending me my bullion?

It would seem almost too good to be true.....

FedEx tracking says it will arrive this Tues.

...To Be Continued.

Is that REALLY where this situation is at?

...just when my FPGA's finally broke even Sad
10  Economy / Scam Accusations / Coinabul owes me $ and is not responding on: August 29, 2013, 02:26:37 AM
I used Coinabul 1 other time almost exactly one year ago (summer of 2012) ...they took much longer then their "promised" 4-17 business day window to provide me with a small piece of gold, but at that time after they didn't respond to me via web form I called them and they answered the phone. They were nice enough on the phone and told me "it normally does NOT take this long...delays in our supply chain blah blah blah"

Long and short of that is in the end they did come through for me........

Have not used them once since....until

Aug 1st 2013 - Had saved up my mined coins and wanted to cash in on some gold.

Placed an order with them for approximately $2000 USD worth of gold.
I gave them 1....2.....3...weeks before pulling the trigger and emailing them via the web form (the only way to contact them besides phone)
The have not written back - no contact at all from Coinabul.
I called them 3 days ago - got a google voice answering machine.

Did not leave a msg.

I called them back today...google voice mail and left a message to PLEASE call me back regarding the status of my order.

So far have not heard a word back. not even an email.
Looks like user "Coinabul" has not logged on to the forums here since June.

Are there ANY honest BTC vendors left out there?!?!!?!?

STAY AWAY FROM COINABUL UNLESS YOU HEAR THIS SITUATION HAS BEEN RECTIFIED!!

@Coinabul - Return my BTC to the address it came from, ship me my gold or AT LEAST answer the phone and tell me to  "Eff OFF!"

11  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: App - Manage multiple markets at once - arbitrage (mac?) on: July 09, 2013, 03:20:40 AM
Wow!

thanks for the replies all. Apparently as opposed to being the "only one" that does't know it would seem I am not alone.

That is refreshing to hear.

Anyone and everyone that has any other ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Thanks again
12  Economy / Service Discussion / App - Manage multiple markets at once - arbitrage (mac?) on: July 08, 2013, 06:54:43 PM
I been looking, and cant seem to find anything. Is there any software that allows you to pull multiple market info into one interface. Maybe even holds credentials for multiple trading sites to allow to quick bids/asks/buys/sells.

With the gap widening between Mt.Gox and other markets something like this would allow for quick arbitrage opportunities I feel.

I would prefer if the software worked on a mac, but I realize I may be asking a lot.

If nothing like this does exists, any arbitrage traders care to share their set up and how they manage multiple trade sites at once?

Thanks all!

I did want to add bitcurex final reply in correcting this issue.

Hi

The transfer has been made to the card.
Something was mixed up, which is weird coz previous withdrawals were fine to your BCC.

Sorry for troubles.

Best Regarfs

Unfortunately you are correct to the degree that there is indeed enough manual intervention for the process to not only fall off track, but slip between the cracks and remain unknown as well.

I can say that once this situation was expressed CLEARLY to Bitcurex, they DID step in and resolve it right away.
15  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcurex.com - official thread on: May 22, 2013, 01:57:44 AM
Here is my yet again submitted support ticket to Bitcurex.... proof that I still do not have my funds and that this mistake is CLEAR their fault.

So you are quick to call me a liar with out first investigating your self.

The bcc ref that you post to the bitcointalk forum does indeed appear to have the exact same amount of $ I transfered..... the PROBLEM IS that is NOT my bcc ref....it is not the one I have had on file on my accnt for months now.

There is a chance that it is an old one that use to belong to me, but once the cards reach the yearly limit I dispose of them and then change my BCC ref.

I ENCOURAGE you to check the BCC ref I have on my under my account and then begin to take steps to make this  right ASAP. This is not fair that my funds are held hostage due to a blatant over sight on your part!

MY CORRECT BCC REF IS - *************

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!! Smiley

Wow. There is no doubt that it took too long and may have started off on the wrong foot, but Lukasz from Bitcurex has come through and solved the problem.

Was I angry and upset? Hell yes!

Did I have the right to be? If you ask me I did.... Here is my recount of how it went down:

1) Traded some BTC to Euro via the bitcurex platform
2) Edited my user profile on Bitcurex (months earlier) to point my BCC Ref # to a virgin BCC card.
3) Double and triple checked that I had the correct info in the BCC Ref field ....checked it four times even. Bitcurex had early growing pains with BCC ref issues.... I weathered that storm and was not gonna let it happen again.
4)"withdrew" the Euro the the BCC card via what looks to be the CORRECT BCC Ref # via the web page GUI
5)waited 2-3 days (over the weekend) for it to process.
6)Funds are showing "withdrawn" - to the BCC card via the account transaction list on the webpage.
7) I try to use the card at an ATM (one that will show me the account balance, because I dont even try to sms internationally anymore...never works)
8)BCC Card balance = $4.00USD
9)I wait another 24hrs = same thing
10) I submit a suport ticket with the issues at hand
11) I then wait (patiently) 8 full days before coming to this thread and screaming about getting ripped off.

Now. I DID deposit over a week end. I was informed it was also a Polish holiday that week. I tried to remain as patient as I possibly could until I felt that I had been slighted.

Once Bitcurex found me yelling on this thread it righty goes with out saying that they were upset I was tarnishing their reputation over something that they may not have even been aware was an issue until this point.

I submitted another support ticket - got called stupid (politely of course) and then the ticket was deleted from their support system.

I really and truly do understand that from their side I look like a loud mouth trying to scam them.

I waited a few more days and then created another support ticket (above) and tried to remain as calm as possible as I felt I had deduced what the issue was.

The web GUI was apparently showing the correct BCC Ref via my logged in accnt and yet SOMEHOW the deposit got submitted to another BCC ref (I can not confirm, but suspect it was an old used up BCC ref of mine)

Once I was able to point this out and beg bitcurex to do the right thing and acknowledge this was not my fault........

THEY STEPPED UP AND DID JUST THAT!!!!

within a few hours I was told that the funds were in the right place now. This has also been confirmed on my end.

Im not sure if Bitcurex was able to move funds like that...or if this was out of pocket for them, but I must truly truly say thank you for getting this right for me.
16  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcurex.com - official thread on: May 21, 2013, 05:28:58 AM
I truly am and honest and forthright person. It is worth noting that based on my last support ticket above, Lukasz has contacted me politely and I for the first time feel that a resolution is possible to be reached.

As this progresses I will keep this thread informed.

P.S. there are no account identifiers in the post. Only amounts and Euro phone number to "check your balance via SMS"

Well, since I have successfully queried your available balance and received a "+959.93 USD", I can tell you that those really are the card's correct identifiers.

That is what the SMS system replies to anything I send it.....

Strange. I just queried your account history and received the list of transactions, consisting of only one transaction of "+959.93", dated 29-04-2013 (USD).

Since you don't recognize the identifier in Bitcurex's post, it's highly probable that you are entering it incorrectly. Since the system responds to you as well, they are getting the SMS. I'd re-read the instructions you received with the card. Smiley

Good luck.

I have the instructions right in front of me. Thanks.

IF those are the correct identifiers for that ACCNT, then bitcurex transfered the funds to the wrong accnt.

In that SMS string the last 4 digits match the bcc card....... those numbers DO NOT match the card and accnt I have in my hand...nor do they match the accnt I have had set up on bitcurex website.

Yet again more proof that this is not my fault or problem.....

Plain and simple it now appears that bitcurex made the withdraw to some other accnt and not the one I have with them...

scratch that.....

the sales invoice was showing "expired"

but now the .002 has shown up and it is appearing as funded.

wow their system is pretty awesome!

A script reviews the open orders and notifies staff on issues.  Any expired order needs manually processing.  Normally we will honor orders even expired ones if the price is roughly the same, but we reserve the right to refund an expired order as our trading engine doesn't execute hedging sell orders until an order is funded.

Right on. The system totally handled my flub and corrected it with what appeared to be no intervention from admins.

Very slick!
