Interesting request.
I can't fulfil it ... but I'd be interested to see the end result! It could even be made into a large poster?
1449  Economy / Services / Re: Send letters with Bitcoin on: October 17, 2012, 11:00:11 AM
Hi,
how about a price list?

What if I wanted to send a card (e.g. birthday) from the UK to the uk?
So a card would cost £2-£3 (I would tell you what kind of card), a stamp is 50p.
What would you charge to send this anonymously?

Thanks
1450  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Question for UK Bitcoin traders (banking related) on: October 17, 2012, 10:39:52 AM
OK, yes that makes total sense.

Again thats related to the fact that Bitcoins are not issued by a Government or a National Bank.

Its not a recognized currency as such. As someone at the London Bitcoin conference said: "Its unregulated at the moment, and not many people 'get' it" ...

1451  Economy / Currency exchange / Question for UK Bitcoin traders (banking related) on: October 17, 2012, 09:03:07 AM
As we have seen that both Intersango and mtgox have had issues with their banking facilities in the UK (I don't knw the exact details - perhaps someone can elaborate?).

My question is aimed at the small/medium sized traders of Bitcoin who are taking payment into their personal bank accounts/paypal accounts:
Has anyone had issues with the banks objecting to deposits/withdrawals if they are related to Bitcoin?
Has anyone had their account shut down?

I avoid making/receiving payments now via bank/PP as much as possible. I just do small cash transactions face to face, as I am wary that eventually if the banks catch on that its bitcoin being traded  they will shut the accounts down - both buyer and seller.

Can anyone shed more detail on this?

Thanks.
1452  Economy / Lending / Re: [Filled] 45 BTC Loan from Tenakha - For The Record on: October 16, 2012, 02:25:54 PM
Can confirm that I have lent Projects £200 in cash today (16/10/12), as well as 45 BTC.

He has successfully been paying back the bitcoin at 9BTC per week. Never missed a payment. Sometimes pays early.

All good so far.
1453  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS Bitcoin to India (INR) and Pakistan (PKR) on: October 16, 2012, 08:54:26 AM
I am from bombay and interested in buying BTC with cash deposit in ICICI bank.
I have sent you a pm already.
thanks!

Hi StLucifer.
I am looking at ways to do this, I only charge a 5% premium on mtgox 24hr avg price - regardless of location of buyer.
I don't think its fair to charge one price to US/UK and a different one to India or Pakistan!
Of course there may be additional transfer fees to pay when sending money from India to UK.
If we can overcome that hurdle then I am happy to sell you Bitcoin at mtgox 24hrs avg +5%
1454  Local / India / Re: Interested in buying selling BTC for GBP/INR London <-> India on: October 16, 2012, 08:45:20 AM
I'm having discussions with a few guys here about sending bitcoins to India.

The main issue at the moment is how to receive money from India to UK.

Firstly a resident Indian cannot send more than $5000 in a year to a person outside India.

Secondly - Western Union/Moneygram may be an option.

Thirdly - ICICI and Lloyds TSB offer a service that links their two accounts together.

Fourthly - there are places in London that allow one to send Pounds to Rupees. It may be possible to do the reverse also.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Do you have any otc rating? Or a high (positive) ebay rating?
If you have either of these I will consider selling you some coinage for PP.
USD or GBP?
PM me to proceed.

Are you selling BTC or buying BTC?
Not clear in your post.
Thanks

As a star collapses, we get heavier and heavier elements being created due to nuclear fusion.

What size of star is required to implode in order to create the element Unobtanium?
